Fast check out! There is another room attached to this place for more dining but it was packed and I didn't want to be disrespectful towards folks just eating their lunch but it had a cozy area to dine In. Bathrooms were clean and when we needed directions for other places to roam around while we waited for our check in at the hot springs, the young lady behind the counter wrote down some great spots for us to check out, outside of town. They had gluten-free muffins but also normal sandwichs 🥪 here. I had a white chocolate raspberry hot mocha and my fiance had a triple shot espresso. 👌 Was very clean and good, and I will come back again!Dietary restrictions: Had oat milk available for me.Kid-friendliness: Easy for strollers to navigate.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs ♿️

This is wonderful little gem, with Cafe food, coffee and other drinks as well as ice cream!!! The Ice Cream Flight was 6 scoops of fun to share. There was also a delightful outdoor patio area that was dog-friendly. Finally, there is a Drive-Thru window for yummiest to go. Helpful and professional staff with affordable great quality menu options. Must stop when you are in LaGrande!

We love this spot! We are traveling through and are always on the lookout for local coffee shops and The Local is SO awesome! It has such a cool design, we love the indoor + outdoor vibe, and the coffee and food we have had has been delicious! It has been a great place to work for a couple days, with solid wifi and enough seating + outlets.

I guess my biggest gripe is that pepperoni is not ham, it is a pig product, but there is a big difference. I got a ham and cheese crossiant, expecting ham and cheese, not pepperoni. I also had a chocolate crossiant (different date) and it was like unlaminated bread dough rolled around chocolate, not a crossiant. I keep trying their coffee and it's never any good, no matter who is working. Finally the workers are always parked on the sidewalk because of the terrible setup of the building which completely lacks parking. People have to run/walk/push strollers in the street on a regular basis due to this. Their ice cream is so good and I suggest you try it.

My truck broke down so I stayed in town for a couple days, This location was next to my hotel and I found it to be very pleasant, very relaxing, friendly/helpful staff, decent Lunch food. I stopped In each day for 3 days and was satisfied with the service each time and coffee.If you're in town I recommend you stop by this location for some coffee. I🐾 This place is definitely a dog friendly place 🐩🐶🐕 🐕‍ 🐶 But don't let this scare you from stoppingby, the facility is kept very clean and the little kids are kept under control from what I sing.Parking: Parking on side of road and drive-through

Disappointing: the ham croissant was burnt, really it was. I thought at first it was chocolate because it was black. And the berry scone was probably fresh a day or two ago. Not worth it.

An exceptionally excellent place for coffee and ice cream and conversation. I did not know waffle cones could be so delicious untilmy wife and I began indulging in them at The Local. The staff is friendly and always smiling. We have generally enjoyed the outdoor comfort, but this evening we ordered via the drive thru. Our mini Aussie shepherd even got a doggie cone!

I have not been disappointed! The service is great and very friendly. Good place to have some dessert with different choices of ice cream. The coffee was tasty and you could taste real coffee flavor which some coffee places tend to lack. However, if I was to critique anything it would only be that coffee was somewhat bitter and wish there was more chocolate to my mocha. I was hesitant to put that part in due to it being the very first day The Local was opened with their drive-thru. Everyone is still learning and with trial and error, I’m sure their will be improvement.Lastly, I would like to note that they reply quickly on their socials. They’re great at responding to your questions.

Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Vibe is calm and casual. Great place to meet up with friends or even work on your laptop. Outdoor seating or indoor seating with garage doors that roll up.Breakfast sandwich and coffee is legit!

Really nice service. We were just driving through the area and thought it looked like a good place to try. The drive for the drive-thru is something different... definitely be cautious. 😂 Tried the tumeric latte, a mocha, and a chai. All of them really good. The tumeric wasn't as "hot/spicy" as I thought it would be, but the chai definitely made up for it.

This is such a cute lil place and what a brilliant idea, coffee and ice cream together. I stopped by twice this last weekend while traveling through the area. I always look for small locally owned coffee places instead of the large corporations. This place did not disappoint.The ladies working there were very friendly.As a transgender woman, I am careful about the places I go especially in rural/conservitive areas. The Local staff were very kind and accepting. I definitely will be back.1/23/23I visited The Local again on my way through town and I wasn't disappointed. Today I got a breakfast sandwich and a mocha. Definitely recommend both.

This place has a fun trendy vibe. Phenomenal repurposed space, and friendly staff. Only complaint after getting coffee 3-days in a row, different servers each time and every time the cup was overfilled and spilling out of the lid.Just leave room for heat pressure in the coffee cup and the experience could match the service and the atmosphere.They also offer GF donuts for special dietary needs.

Loved this place!! Great atmosphere, great barista, great coffee.My coffee order is always a quad shot americano with cream be size I love it, but that consistency makes it easy to compare coffee places.The espresso itself was strong and smooth, not bitter like some roasts can be.Update:I've been going here for years, but the coffee hasn't been quite as good lately and I can't quite put a finger on why. Somehow the coffee tastes more watery? Maybe they switched espresso roasts? Either way, I'm less likely to go here now.

Stopped into this shop for lunch on way to Anthony Lakes. A great BLT for around $10. Good ambiance with open air dining (covered or completely open). Great stop to stretch legs while driving cross state. Oh, and an ice cream shop next door too! Write that down!

Very clean and bright, yet relaxed environment. Friendly, yet professional young ladies on staff. Excellent and quick service.I had a latte earlier (coconut milk for those of us who prefer “alternatives” to dairy). It was great. Came back for lunch and got the muffuletta (how could I resist?) delicious, fresh ingredients and served with just the right amount of chips on the side.They unfortunately were out of the curried chicken salad, but just another excuse to come back. (Like I need one. Did I mention they have ice cream??!!😉)

Was pleasantly surprised to find this upscale & urban vibe coffee/sandwich/ ice cream shop on my way through La Grande. It's bright, airy, with several comfortable seating areas. Every single thing I ordered was tasty, but the breakfast pop tart really stood out. The ice cream flavors are more traditional (no crazy concoctions) which I appreciated.... really creamy & delicious.
