Was able to stop by for the first time yesterday on my way home from the coast. Trent is an amazing guy! Really knows his beer and I had a great time talking with him about it. I will definitely be stopping by every time I head to Oregon from now on. If you want great beer and the chance to meet a super knowledgeable and even nicer person, stop in and see Trent. Truly one of the best beer stores I’ve been to for top quality beer. Thanks Trent.

Ii cannot say enough great things about Trent Brays’s skills as a birder, a bird guide and an all around high integrity person. I travelled to the La Grande area searching for (4) birds I was hoping to add to my ABA Big Year list. In less than 24 hours Trent helped me find and enjoy each of these birds. I would highly recommend engaging Trent for your next birding trip ! I will use him again next year for certain.

Trent and his place are an absolute gem. Rare, fascinating beers you can’t find outside of a major metropolitan area. Plenty for birders too. Drop in and get a bottle or three as a gift, for a party, or just because.

The Bobolink is THE place to buy interesting beer in La Grande. Don't be dismayed by the eclectic mix of disc golf and birding equipment when you walk in the door--you've found the right place. The owner does a fantastic job of sourcing all sorts of rare and delicious brews you would never expect to find in rural Oregon, from just-canned, drink-now IPAs, to barrel-aged savor-like-a-meal stouts, and everything in between. It's nice to visit when you have a few minutes to spare, so that you can take advantage of the owner's encyclopedic knowledge about his inventory and learn something new.

Trent is always enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. If your inquiry is about Birding, Disc Golf or Craft Beer he is the man to see. You'll come out knowing more then you did, and on the other side of a great conversation. Couldn't be prouder to have an establishment like the Bobolink in LG!

Awesome beer selection and very knowledgeable owner. If you want good beer options, especially ones you will never find in grocery stores, come here. I was skeptical that a store geared toward birds and birders could really be a place to source great beer, but I was a fool. Don't be a fool like I was.

Such a wonderful store. Bird seed and feeders, optics and books. As well an amazing selection of craft beers and disk golf supplies. You'll want to shop here again and again.
