This place used to be so rad! I hadn’t been in a couple years, and on this visit it seemed like most of the clothes had a special tag and were priced just bonkers high. I accidentally bought a sweater for 15 dollars because I didn’t notice the tag 🤦🏼‍♀️ Seriously, acrylic and super pilled 1980s sweater. It’s going to take me 45 min to shave it. Cute but even at a vintage store in a big city it would be in the bargain bin for like 5 dollars. I picked up a few fun items, just because I came all the way there, but paid way too much for them. I’ll prob be holding a grudge about the sweater for years haha 🤣 I would have bought garbage bags full if everything wasn’t so dang pricey. Oh well.

This place has gotten so incredibly silly. Prices are outrageous for items they receive from donation for free... Seems to be no rhyme or reason for pricing aside from make it cost more than it's worth. Just a few weeks ago a particular employee who is very high strung typically grabbed a donation out of an elderly woman's hands without saying a word but rolling her eyes because the lady had brought it to the front door instead of the side of the building.This place stresses me out and I feel bad for the people who go there for community service hours or are employees because it must be stressful being in that environment with that attitude. Most of the other employees are very sweet and welcoming. I've heard them advocate for customers and help people like the name states way more often than the main employee I've seen there over the last several years.It's a thrift store calm down 😆

Pros: The bags sales are great bargain and they do have a large variety to look at.Cons: I've seen Dollar Tree items there for $2.00. Items can be dirty and unorganized. Pricing isn't competitive to that of the other thrift stores in town (who's items are generally cleaner and in better condition than theirs.) They don't do as much for the community or offer bargains like the other stores do.Not a bad place to shop, but know your prices. A lot of their items simply aren't worth what they ask. They could have a cleaner more organized store by selling more inventory at a slightly cheaper price point.

Donated a lot of high quality items….. people were rude and unorganized and VERY demanding for a donation center. They need to get their act together and try being nicer to people trying to help others in need.

Prices good but workers are snotty and very rude. Bunch of Karen's working there.. minding our own business and quietly was taking video to share with kids at home said 2 employees are bothered and so are others in the store.

People store use to be a great place to shop but now it has different owners ..I can't afford to shop there...the prices are way too high for used donated items.....people who financially struggle like me simply can't afford there prices......

Very affordable with clothes that starts out as a dollar . The back is jumbled with furniture which is why 4 instead of 5 stars cause we couldn't look through and find the dressers we were looking for . Definitely nice people that works there so it feels like a store instead of a thrift store

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with pleasant smiles and super helpful people. We needed a high chair and When we asked the lady at the front desk she went out of her way to help us find one. She was super helpful and friendly. Store was well organized and very reasonably priced. We found So many treasures and left with a full trunk😊defiantly would recommend visiting this shop! I plan on returning real soon!

This store is way over priced.when .low income people such as myself can't afford to shop there then seems to me like it's more out to make money than help our community... especially when everything is donated to them ...and there is sooo much that could be given away rather than thrown away ...sad...

This is my favorite thrift store, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the prices! There's something for everyone here, clothes, furniture, home furnishings and the list goes on. Super easy to get to, located close to i84 and near Walmart, definitely worth a stop in my opinion!

Ther thongs are waay over priced reficlious the people are rude the girl there litteraly will stare at you but not come help because she's to busy with other things she does not even icnolage you have the the stuff outdated toothpaste or nothing in the box

Love this place! Had so my fun going through all the old and new items and left with my entire call full off goodies!!!! The staff is super nice and very helpful. Good prices, and definitely will be going back! I live out of town but whenever I come to la grande to visit or even passing through I will stop here !!!!

Service was very nice. Im an outta-towner that came thru on business. I always stop at places like this on my way out to leave free sanitizer and do a little shopping. I got a very nice, large knit blanket in fun bright colors a knit lime green throw pillow for a total of $4. I love that it's a community place with great prices. Not a place for clothes but can definitely find some treasures.

This is only my opinion, but first glance when I walked in was wow.... alot of stuff... and smells musty.. did not know where to start not very well labeled, what was what, or isles were not labeled women's men's children's 🤔 lots of stuff.... rather old worn out items I realize that is exactly what is it recycled items but by the look of the piles and piles of items stacked outside and inside. anywhere and everywhere they could put it I would have expected nicer things in there. So myself won't be back to give it another look.

This place is kind of messy at times but their prices can't be beat, especially the clothing! They are working hard at cleaning the place up and getting it organized! The folks who work here are very friendly! They play a tremendous role in our little community, and they do indeed help a lot of PEOPLE.

I always enjoy going. Large variety of many different household items. Large variety of outdoor items. I like buying for the season we're not in because of course as a thrift store. Always has more of that clothes are pretty cheap bought a couple jackets and the price can range from a dollar to 10. Halloween things when it's in season. All around pretty nifty store. Just off bearco Loop.

Well I have to say that all the people that work there are absolutely wonderful, including myself, LOL! But I absolutely love how we've grown and been able to help our community. Also the customers are all basically like family and I thank them all for that.

If you don't mind sorting through random stuff, you can find some really great deals. They offer discounts and do bag sales frequently! They're in 3 different buildings in Barico Loop, so there's lot's to find.

Great thrift store. Lots of variety and really low prices. Will pick up for free. Will deliver for small fee. Other thrift stores in town prices are way too high. It's always busy at People's! You can find just about anything you need

It's very chaotic with items everywhere. You can find treasures if you have the time to sift through everything. Some items were overpriced in my opinion. And there were aome items i came across that should had been in the trash.

Wide variety of stuff. Off the main street( island ave) on Bearco loop. Stuff in here is organized, but lacking in shelf space. Lots of college books. It might be a good place to check as a used book outlet.

PHP is a great 2nd-hand store in La Grande OR. They have a wide range of products and very low prices. It's one of my favorite places to browse 😊
