Mom-in-law & I did the factory tour & the orchard tour & had the most amazing day! Andy was our tour guide for both. He was so knowledgeable & we got to ask a million questions. For the factory tour, we got 2 free gift basket items then got to pick out other items to include in our gift baskets at a reduced price. For the orchard tour, we left with our choice of pear! The day was perfect. We left with so much knowledge & respect for the agricultural industry. Thank you, Andy!

I received the Sleigh Ride Crate. It arrived quickly in the mail, and everything was perfect! The crate itself was so cute, and I’m glad I’ll be able to reuse it in the future. As for the fruit and goodies inside… absolutely delicious! We loved trying the different apples and pears. Everything was such high quality! We will definitely be sending gift baskets to friends and family in the future.

My friend Olie and I had a personal tram ride today with Farmer Andy as our orchard guide. What a great employee! He is dedicated, smart and really knows a lot about the orchard business. He answered all of our questions and taught us so much about pears! We will never forget our time with him in this beautiful orchard in Hood River.

I recently received a gift box from The Fruit Company as a surprise from a dear friend. The box is called their Covered Bridge Fresh Fruit Stand. The exterior of the box is beautiful and I have attached photos. What a delightful surprise! The inside was even better and included several well-wrapped varieties of pears and some crispy red apples. It also came with their strawberry licorice, Wisconsin chipotle cheddar cheese and their beef summer sausage. All were delicious. The pears were luscious, and the apples crispy and sweet! What a nice, healthy gift to give someone! My husband and I ate it all and the box is now empty though almost too pretty to throw out! This is a great gift to send for just about any occasion. I received it as thank-you but it would be perfect for birthdays, holidays, or just to show your love! What makes it so special is that it is a gift that everyone loves. You can’t go wrong!

We received a huge fruit basket as a present and were astounded by the excellent quality, taste and variety of different fruits it included. Different type apples, pears, oranges and kiwi. In the bottom we found a nice sized pineapple, crab apples and mango! The wire cloth lined basket was a bonus and we will use it for onions and potatoes later! Excellent place to get out of this world fruit baskets for any occasion! All the fruit was a little under ripened allowing us to ripen it in a few days or refrigerate it for slower ripening which worked out perfect for us.

I love mangoes but have a hard time finding ripe ones at my local grocery stores. The mangoes from The Fruit Company were perfectly ripe and so delicious!! They were so juicy as I cut into them, so different from the ones I buy locally. I can’t wait to eat all of these!!

I’m so pleased about my experience with The Fruit Company! I loved my fruit box. The packaging was really cute and the box came beautifully wrapped. The pears and apples were my favorite. They were fresh and kept well in the fridge. I loved the variety of items that came in the box. My boyfriend loved the meat and cheese that was included and suggested we make a charcuterie plate out of the items, it was an added bonus to date night! Shipping was very quick. I’m looking forward to sending friends and family boxes in the future for birthdays and holidays. I highly recommend The Fruit Company if you’re looking for a high quality gift from a company who cares about their customers!

Worst co ever! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME or money! We ordered 4 fruit baskets as a gift for a raffle we were having for our dental office. 2 came a week early n went to the wrong address. 1 got lost entirely and the 4 th came a week late. Moldy, rotten and literally smelling awful! When you call w a complaint they are rude, and deny all responsibility. I reminded her what her “ on hold recording” says- 100% satisfaction guaranteed ( I was on hold for 32 min. ) but she had every reason in the book as to why it was not their fault n this doesn’t apply to us. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I hope I can upload pics of the rotten fruit too!

I arranged for 3 separate orders to be sent out as Christmas presents between December 18th and 22nd per the option on their ordering form. They messed up and sent all 3 out last night to arrive November 29th. That is so wrong! They should not offer the option of later delivery if they are not going to follow it. So beware! They told me it was my problem as I didn't check their confirmation email which only says they are getting them ready to ship. I assumed that meant staging for December.

We received the fruit and chocolate tower two years in a row. Both years the pears arrived rotten. The first year I didn’t say anything about it. However, I will be reaching out to the company considering it happened again this year. I’m writing this review so other people don’t spend their hard earned money on a gift that will arrive rotten.

We had a great time touring with Andy! If you are from Oregon and Washington and want to know more about your own backyard - we HIGHLY recommend this tour. We learned so many interesting facts about the agriculture of the Hood River Valley and enjoyed trying quite a few staples of the orchard like the pears, fresh blueberry pie, and more!

Have used the Fruit Company several times to treat our Midwest family. The fruit arrives in beautiful condition, due to their careful packaging. We have only sent seasonal fruit so it’s very flavorful. Their customer service is also incredible. They respond promptly and graciously. Will definitely be ordering again.

My husband and I have received gifts from The Fruit Company from our daughter. The Fruit of the Month is beyond exceptional! The fruit is of the highest quality and the taste is phenomenal! Have never had fruit as fresh and tasty. The packaging is superb. No marks or bruising on the fruit. Very highly recommend! We just recently received a cheesecake with a variety of flavors. Best cheesecake we’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Packaging superb and tasty beyond words. I’ve already put in my next order with my daughter! Can’t say enough good things about your company! Everyone I know has been told about you and I will continue to spread the word! We are customers for life!!

The Fruit Co. stands behind their products. When a shipment was delayed during the Christmas season and the fruit no longer good to eat by the time it arrived, they promptly offered to replace the fruit. They were quick to work with me to make sure my gift to a client was taken care of and replaced. I have ordered before from this company prior to this and will order again. Customer service is excellent!

I have had several amazing baskets from them, and used them 4 times in the last few months. This last basket was purchased from outside store ups code vendors, but that wasn't as upsetting as many pieces of the fruit being inedible. I normally wouldn't write a review that is negative, but when I reached out to return the rotten fruit and the grocery store product to the local company - they said they don't offer refunds or returns and don't guarantee their products quality or freshness. I tried 3 times to convince them to just replace the fruit that was bad, because of the expense. They refused.I am bummed, since I used to really love sending them as gifts! I would be careful when purchasing something as a gift so you don't embarass yourself.

Wow! What a place to come to! This orchard has something for everyone to enjoy. And did I forget to mention they have the most handsome heir to the empire in their son Noah. He was such a delight to show me around the property! I highly recommend the train it was magical to say the least. And one more shoutout for Noah he is the best!

Delightful surprise left for me by my lovely room mate ! I really enjoyed the apples and pears in my gift box. Saltwater taffy and a velvet brownie rounded out my treat and made my day. Rhea gave us an amazing tour of the facilities. During the tour, someone was walking by with a bowl of cherries and let us taste them- they were amazing!! We love the monthly harvest fruit club - every piece of fruit is amazing! All my kids anxiously await the new big fruit box coming in every month - it goes fast!

I recently saw your gift basket advertised by Cosco which I ordered for my sister & brother-in-law In Mississippi who had been unable to buy good fresh fruit. I ordered your basket that contained fruit, cookies, nuts, popcorn & whatever else—. My sister was so impressed with every single thing, even the thoughtful way the fruit was wrapped & said it was done so specially & felt great care went into her gift. What a great place the staff is very friendly you get incredible deals on fruit 5 to $10 four cases of apples and pears. There's always seasonal fruit as well.

We have done the fruit of the month thing for the past 3 years. Will not be renewing after this year. Quality is just not there and has progressively gotten worse. Most of the deliveries are in a smashed box with bruised fruit. This year they have been replacing some of the more expensive fruit like Pomegranates with Bartlett pears. Just the little things you expect when you are paying a premium. You expect the quality and customer service to match the price. That's not the case.

Absolutely the worst. Got a thoughtful gift of a different fruit every month. First month, cherries that were reasonably good, some with rot but all in all a nice treat. Next month the same thing (apparently were supposed to be a different variety of cherry) but this time 90% rotten with mold and slime throughout. All had to be thrown away. It's a shame that thoughtful gift givers got such a rotten deal.UPDATE: Did get a response and there appears to have been a problem with the shipping/shipper. We all make mistakes hopefully this has been corrected. At least they seem to care about their product.

Sent a $200 gift basket for Christmas and there was NO indication of who Sent the basket. I finally called recipient to see if it was received. After some confusion the owner says yes, the basket was received. She thought the basket was simply a gift from The Fruit Company. You couldn't put a small note inside with my name...?

Best. Rainire. Cherries. EVER. This year I resolved to get my hands on some decent Rainier's. I always seemed to miss the season when it would hit the stores. This year I ordered online in early June; even though ship date wasn't until July. I picked my date to receive them and started counting down the days. I am never buying from a store again.There is no comparison between store bought and what I received from The Fruit Company. They were beautiful in both look and taste. Yeah, I said were because they are all gone. They were that good. This is going to be my yearly treat to myself.

The Fruit Company is just outstanding! I have bought gift baskets from them a total of 5 times now, and I was beyond impressed and highly satisfied each time. The people who received the gifts totally *raved* about them. The ordering process online is easy, and their customer service reps are the best. I couldn't recommend them more strongly.
