Came here for the huckleberry milkshake and it was so good. The store also sell handmade pastry and fresh jam from all kinds of berries. So happy to be able to support local farms now that things opening up again after the pandemic. 🤗

This place has the best milkshake I've ever had. There's a bit of a wait but totally worth it. Try the various jams and jellys that are sold here as well. You will find something to take home and won't be disappointed.

Normally these pair dumplings are just fantastic. But today we got one and it was awful (it was hard and not ripe before it was baked) and they refused to give us a good one. For $8 they should have said ok and given us a good one since that pair isn't right but they didn't. We drove from Portland to get these because they are normally wonderful. We won't be doing that again lousy customer service today.

They have a giant sign outside advertising huckleberry milkshakes but they haven’t had any for the past four years! if you don’t have them then take down the sign or cover it up..” I used to love their huckleberry milkshakes and would make special trips out to get them, but they’re always out. i’ve tried their other milkshakes but theyre so mediocre it isn’t even worth the trek out. it’s pure evil to bait people and lure them into your shop just for them to be disappointed with mediocre ice cream. do better!

We arrived here at about 9:20 in the morning and were the only people there. There were 5 of us. I saw at least 4 different ladies who seemed to work there and passed us multiple times and not a single one spoke to us. So I thought that was kind of rude.I was also disappointed in the food. Internet reviews and menus made me think there would be scones and muffins and lots of options. There were only a couple of cookies and a turnover. I had planned to feed us pastries for breakfast so we left hungry. We stood there for a few minutes to buy a cookie and no one noticed us so we just left.

This is a must-visit stop along our trip whenever we take the Hood River "Fruit Loop" venture. Their pear syrup is phenomenal, and so many of their jams and jellies are delicious that it's hard to settle on just one or two to take home. We end up stocking up to last us until our next trip out that way. Definitely among Oregon's very best!

Go sample all of their delicious jams. We took home a jar of the strawberry jam and a marionberry milkshake! They also have homemade frozen pies for you to take and bake.

This is a slice of the American dream. It's local up and down it's supply chain. I like the hand pies and hand packed ice cream. Jellies, BBQ sauce and rubs. If you need a new apron they got some hand made like grandma.

This business has the BEST hand pies. Marionberry, marionberry peach and more. TURNOVERS, peach, chocolate peanut butter. COFFEE,fresh brewed drip is perfect. oh, and then there are MILKSHAKES! Huckleberry, chocolate you name it. Step off the diet plan and enjoy this fresh bite of Hood River and O'Dell. This is a MUST GO THERE kind of place!

If I could have my own huckleberry shake just like they have, in my home, I'd have one every single day for the rest of my life. Sooooo good. I browsed all the yummy local goodies they've absolutely dominated, the prices are as expected, a little spendy, but I'd dare to say well worth it. Soaps, jams, baked goodies, kitchen and dinette flair, it's the house we all wish was our favorite grandmother's.

Warm berry and peach pies greet you at the door. Preserves, sweet syrups and jellies and jams are numerous. Fresh hot pastries and Hot Coffee. Beautiful handmade local crafts, teas, and artwork for sale. Wonderful stop for fresh local flavors!!!

It is a cute store but the staff was indifferent at best and rude at most. Not a single smile or hello and after spending a substantial amount of money not one thank you or even a goodbye. It made me feel like just being there was an inconvenience to them. I wouldn't come here ever again, there are plenty of other wonderful places to visit on the fruit loop. Don't go out of your way to come here.

We went in to pick up an apple pie but they were out so we bought a peach/strawberry pie. I baked it for dessert tonight and anxiously awaited the buzzer to tell me it was done. So sad to say that we ended up throwing it out after both trying a piece. We actually only tried two bites each! The peaches were really crunchy and the strawberries, well were interesting. Really disappointed.

Where to start?*$6 for 2 lbs of apples? That's over a $1 an apple.*They use corn syrup in their pecan pie, which is the lazy man's pie.* The baked goods that they did have were overly dry, I'm coughing it up as I'm writing this.* The staff was unwelcoming and cold. They were indifferent at best, rude at worst. It felt like I was an inconvenience just by being there, despite making sure I spent a pretty penny.I'd give them a one star, but the aesthetic was pleasant, so they get a 2 from me.

I have to admit I was not overly impressed with the over all "country" charm of the store. It felt over crowded and stuffy. Others may find it charming because the places was busy!We did take a frozen pie 🥧 to go. Based on the turnover I had I'm a bit skeptical. The turnover crust was delightful and fluffy although doughy in one location. My downside to this hand sized pie was the lack of filling. It literally was in the last 1/3 of the pie and not very favorable.So, here is to hoping the actual pie fares better.

Always enjoy our visits here! We buy our jams and berry syrup for the winter each fall. I also love the berry scented glycerine soaps.
