We went on a half day snowmobile tour. I’ve done three snowmobile tours before in the Leavenworth WA area, with three different companies. Those were BOOORRRING! I don’t think the Leavenworth tours got more than five mph, and you got barked at, if you went six mph! The trip today was the first one that I would call fun. We had beautiful scenery, and a mix of terrain. We were able to open them up a bit on the straightaways. We will definitely be back! Scott was a great guide.The store staff on two visits were very helpful and patient, especially the young lady that set my wife up with equipment.Interesting that we rode double on a snowmobile that had a sticker that said “ No Passengers”. Maybe the ride would have been a bit smoother if we weren’t approaching max weight with two riders, and she was complaining that she didn’t have much room for her feet. (She has a medical condition and can’t ride solo)

What an amazing company and amazing tours! We booked the wrong date and showed up a day early, Zach was so damn cool and took us out anyway. We had the most amazing time riding snowmobiles. Our first time but will not be the last. Conditions were perfect and the price was just right.

From the moment we walked into this little shop we were greeted by a delightful woman named Lynn. She was super helpful and sweet. We decided to book a snow mobile tour, and rented skis for the night ski. We booked an hour and a half tour. Which was just perfect. Our guide Scott was cool and informative. Took us thru a beautiful route with several stops for picture taking. Had such a wonderful time,we'd definetly do it again. Thank you Lynn and Scott.

Thank you so much for our beautiful and fun guided snowmobile trip. Our guide was exceptional and so patient when I crashed into a tree-well. It took about 30 minutes to dig us out and eventually towed us out with his snowmobile. He didn’t use that time as part of our 1.5 hour trip and carried on as if nothing had happened, once he knew we were ok. My only suggestion would be to add more details on ride times. I only read early morning as the option on your website but, later learned there were late AM and PM availabilities as well. Thanks you again!! Beautiful memories indeed!

What a wonderful way to enjoy the snow! The staff was incredibly accommodating - communicating just before our ride, allowing us to ride earlier because there was space available, providing an extra step for assistance, offering blankets to keep us warm. We thought we were going to be late and the organizer offered options and then switched gears when we arrived early. The experience was only too short. Another 15 minutes would have been perfect. Thank you for a unique afternoon and a sweet memory!

5 stars for Mt Hood Outfitters!!! Rode a snowmobile for two hours with my wife through the forests on Mt Hood in early January. Beautiful!!! Our guide was great, the snow was deep, and riding the snow machine at up to 50 mph was exhilarating! I highly recommend Mt Hood Outfitters!

Super friendly staff (Zach and Lynn) and tour guide (Scott), all of the cold weather gear was included (except gloves), nice snowmobiles with heated handle bars!!!👍 Great pricing...Our family had a blast trail riding and site seeing Frog Lake and Clear Lake. We definitely will recommend this to friends and family and look forward to going again.💎💎💎💎💎💯

Super pretty. Very busy over Christmas but food service was good and the instructor for the snowboarding class was awesome. He kept helping all day, even after class. Clean lodge, good number of runs and lifts.

Had an amazing tour led by Luke! He did a great job educating us on our tandem snow mobile. Felt very safe and secure as he led us through the woods and by Clear lake. He also provided us latitude if we wanted to go a little faster. He’s a happy flexible person who was a joy to be around and perfect for this job. Also appreciated that the company provides us snow gear if needed. That was a plus too! Highly recommend!

I booked a double snowmobile tour for my girlfriend and myself, and they made everything so easy. The worker who checked us in at the store was super helpful and provided great advice on what gear to rent and the correct fit. The instructor was awesome. He provided the must know info, and then we immediately started riding. We stopped at the right intervals to stretch our legs and chat. He also took multiple pictures of us along the way when we asked, and not only was kind about it but took great pics. Would highly recommend!

We had an awesome experience snowmobiling! Lynn, in the main office, was extremely nice and very accommodating. We were able to borrow helmets, googles and boots. Sam was our guide on the trails. He was great. You can tell he loves what he is doing and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. Overall amazing!

Lynn and Drew were fantastic! Extremely kind and helpful all around. I didn't know if the 1.5 hour tour would be enough, but Drew was super cool and even let us go a bit longer. It was my first time snowmobiling, but it won't be my last. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're shopping around for other snowmobile rental places, don't even bother; this is the place to go!

Rented snowmobiles with my wife and 9 year old. Everyone had a blast, all the equipment is in perfect working order and our guide Sam was super fun and thoughtful, so zero drama of any kind. The tour itself took us to Clear lake and then to the Lookout Tower which was pretty cool. Sam let us go fast when the trails allowed but always kept us safe and informed of what was up ahead. Definitely recommend Mt Hood Outfitters, it was exactly what my family was looking for, thrill, escape and adventure.

Actually pretty fun. Getting an all day pass is overkill. The other included attractions are meh. We didn’t try downhill biking which could have been fun. But a few runs down the alpine slide are definitely worth it.

To my surprise, I was the only one who showed up for the snowshoeing tour on Sunday. Lucky me though, because I got the guide, Drew, all to myself.He took me on a five mile excursion through Mt. Hood's Winter Wonderland and I had a blast!Great people=great business!

Our tour guide Luke was awesome! We had such a good time and highly recommend going snowmobiling with him. After the big storm, lots of trees had fallen over on the trail and he made it into an unforgettable experience!!

Zach, Lynn, and Drew are absolutely terrific. Both made our trip to Mt. Hood outstanding! First, Lynn made a snowmobiling tour possible on very short notice for a large group. Drew, made our snowmobiling tour spectacular!! Lastly, I needed a little repair glue for an RC car (even though this is far outside their business model) they took the time to help us. Great crew, deserving of 5 stars! Check these guys out if you venture to Mt. Hood!!

Loved the snowmobile tour here ! My husband and I took our 13 year old, and it was a fun experience for all of us. Our guide, Zach, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made us all feel safe. I would recommend this tour and would do another if we visited Mt. Hood in the future.

Drew did a great job of showing my son and I how to operate/ride the snowmobiles our first time. All the equipment, guiding, booking, etc., was perfect! We would do it again!

Luke, our tour guide was great, very informative, and made me feel super comfortable being that it was my first time on a snowmobile. Highly recommend booking with them.

I have rented from Mt. Hood Outfitters a few times, and previously had wonderful experiences. However, this past weekend was sadly very different.After losing a few chains due to breakage on our way to rent skis from Mt. Hood Outfitters, we were excited to get out on the trails after walking a few miles to a gas station to purchase more chains. When renting, the service member at the front desk was very rude to other guests who did not know how to fill out online waivers - and even bad mouthed them to us as we checked out.After getting our skis in our car and driving to Mount Hood Meadows, the state patrol had already unfortunately begun closing routes and preventing more vehicles from arriving. We then broke a few more chains on the drive, and only had one wheel driving safely. After several hours spent in the car, we were sad that our adventure continued to get worse - and we now realized we had to return our skis soon since it was now 3:00 PM.Once we made it back to the store, we asked the same service member to offer us a voucher to come back and have a better experience. She was extremely rude, and told us that "they offer no refunds, that they only rent equipment and we are on our own". We were very sad, since we wanted to ski - and after a few minutes of horrible reactions from the service member, she then sprayed our equipment and told us "it's too bad you didn't just want to ski nearby - there are trails around the corner."This was a completely different experience from other times - where service members set expectations by telling us where to go, where to park, and gave us info on how to prepare. She clearly did not care about our wellbeing, nor returning as customers - especially after an exhausting day of car trouble. We should have second guessed our experience after listening to her berate customers in line ahead of us.

We just got back from a Christmas Vacation to Government Camp and booked with Mt Hood Outfitters for snowshoe-ing, snow boarding and skiing. They were excellent and had great advice for each outing (thanks Sara and Drew). In hindsight, maybe we did not need a guide for the snowshoeing, but Scott was a pleasure to spend a few hours with and we had a great time. I would totally recommend anyone heading up the mountain to stop in and rent their gear at this location. We also arranged for the sleigh ride through this website, and it was also amazing. (new friends Charlie and Jeter pulling the sleigh).

I went for my first snowmobile tour and it was fantastic! My tour guide Josh is patient, professional and fun! We stopped for beautiful photo ops and he his knowledge of the area is vast. All of the attire tbey offer is very nice and the ski was a great comfortable ride!! I can not wait to book another tour. This is a great company.
