The hotel has a great location for Mt Hood activities. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The water pipes to adjoining rooms made a very loud vibrating noise when the show was in use. It's not something you can sleep through. Parking is somewhat limited. The halls reverberate noise so that sound gets amplified. Breakfast was good, prepared food that was hot. Overall, the stay was mice except when the neighbor on either side was taking a shower.

It’s a hotel, it serves the purpose of a place to lay your head down. The rooms are on par with what a normal Best Western has except since this is on Mt. Hood the price is jacked way beyond the legitimate value. The continental breakfast was a joke so we went out to breakfast. The walls must be paper thin because we could hear every other person around us turn on the bathroom fans, close their doors, laugh, or cough.I can think of better ways to spend $350 for one night.

Incredibly Relaxing, CLEAN, and Enjoyable! Makes a vacation on Mt. Hood truly feel elevated! The views from the room are magical and so peaceful! A few steps from Mt. Hood Brewery which has a really great vibe or a very short walk up to Govy town shops and restaurants, bring some boots! No matter the weather very easy to park at Sandy transit and ride bus to front door, then catch it again to explore the rest of the mountain!

The employees working the front end of the lobby were rude to my partner. On the 27 of January around 9PM, my partner asked a simple question of where are the vending machines, before she even finished her question, their reply was, “What now”? I was near the stairs and over heard that, but I assumed that comment was directed at another employee and not my partner. I feel that if your establishment would like to be seen as a place that values customers, then employees should treat their customers with respect.

Great hotel, conveniently located at one side of Government Camp. Plenty of places for eating and drinking around. Rooms were confortable, they had decent space for the size of the beds, seemed clean, beds had great support. Outlets were not so good to get a good grip on average plugs so be aware to check twice that your devices are really, really charging... Enormous lobby with cozy chairs in front of a fireplace. The inn has several amenities included, even a jacuzzi suite! Also, a lot of rules for guest visiting with sport equipment (they have even lockers for them!). I got surprised with the fantastic complimentary breakfast. Yet, there were not too many tables for seating. The machine that makes pancakes was a total hit with kids. Service of coffee, tea and hot chocolate were permanent for guests. Staff is kind and really helpful.

We stayed here based on all of the good reviews. Everything was fine until we pulled back the top bedding to find long hairs all over the bottom sheet and so much pilling- the sheet was very old and worn, and the top sheet had visible dirt on it. The front desk guy gave us clean bedding but didn't offer to remake the bed. He said he'd let the hotel manager know of the situation. We weren't able to get to the hotel until 10:30 pm, were exhausted, and not in the mood for what we paid. Breakfast was fine. We did our laundry in the morning and checked the machines thoroughly, only to find later that my expensive Columbia shorts were MIA. We did see a housekeeping woman hanging around the laundry area for some reason. There's no place to wait there or nearby for your clothes to be done, so they are out of sight. The hotel also has a sign that they are not responsible, etc. This same housekeeping woman was hanging around the second floor where our room was, but her cart was clear down another hall. We had the " Privacy Please" sign on the outside of our room. When she saw my husband leave the room and go downstairs on the elevator, she took it upon herself to come into our room, thinking no one was there. Imagine her surprise when she saw me standing there!! "Was there anything you needed?" was all she said. I asked her why she thought I needed something when I have the privacy sign on the door and am checking out soon. Her cart was down another hall, which means that's where she was cleaning a room. Housekeeping staff know what rooms are checking out and if they have already!. Shady staff for sure. She needs to go. I'm not sure if she's the same person that left dirty sheets on our bed, but I'm wondering how many other guests have run into things like this and not reported it. Guests shouldn't have to wonder if they'll have clean linens and/ or be robbed while they aren't in their room!! I'm hoping that the hotel manager reads this and looks into the housekeeping staff. We stayed in room 217 the night of 9-12-23. Unfortunately, I wouldn't stay here again because of these incidents.

We stayed just one night and found our room to be clean and comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the Mount Hood Brewing bar next door, which was excellent for both food and drinks. We also enjoyed watching Stellar's jays from the window. We decided to sleep in rather than go down for breakfast, as the breakfast hours were short and we were tired. The breakfast menu looked basic but adequate.

Overall: BCleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Review: Limited review - I’d stay again. Stayed 1 night pre & also post hike of the Timberline Trail. Both times my rooms were clean & no issues at all despite other reviews. Staff were friendly & the morning attendant, a young guy with long black/brown hair, was super cool. The breakfast was limited but fine. Their biscuits weren’t warmed though & had to use the microwave but definitely not a show stopper.Rooms have LOTS of charging ports. I came here just to sleep & realize the price tag reflects the location & cheaper than staying at Timber Lodge but easily accessible. Only gripe are the walls, a tad too thin as I could quite easily here my neighbors on both sides & could be because of the adjoining doors. I hate those things & wish hotels completely did away with them but they seem like they aren’t going away - oh well.Rooms: Mine were clean & nice. Lots of charging ports. Walls were a tad thin though & could bear my neighbors pretty well.Walkability: You can easily walk to Government Camp from here & the micro brewery next door.

Our first room had broken blinds that could not be closed.I went to the front desk and the person working there was happy to move my room, but told me that other people had been complaining of other issues in their rooms, so I should check my new room thoroughly. The new room was fine, but the shower was dirty. The housekeeping hadn't properly cleaned the new room. I think they were very understaffed.I'm sad cause I used to like Best Western, but now I realize Motel 6 is just as good if not better. Also the mini fridge (in both rooms) was really loud.Breakfast was fine.

Very average hotel, for an above average price. Overall, unremarkable. The front doors are narrow and not power assisted - it can be a real battle to get suitcases and gear through them. The soundproofing between floors is dreadful - we were woken up multiple times by people upstairs who actually didn’t seem like they were being obnoxious, just that the sound traveled so badly.

5 stars all day for this place. I drove 9 hours and was running very late I called and let them know I would be checking in after 1am. They said that is no worry and to let them know as I got closer. I did let them know and got there right at 1am. The hotel was packed and there was no parking. Well I have a 30ft trailer and a HD lifted truck. It was no worry they helped me find parking right away. The room was nice and clean. It was quiet and the breakfast was great. I can't say enough good things about them!

A few small things and one big thing. The tub did not turn off all of the way, it dripped no matter what I did.I had a lot of trouble getting the TV to work, but I had my laptop with me so, while annoying, wasn't a huge deal. The electrical outlets near the bed didn't work either. Again annoying since I like to sleep with a heated blanket and the blankets they provide are super thin (about as thick as three sheets), so I ended up being cold both nights but not the end of the world. The biggest issue though, was that when I tried to see if there was a power strip to turn the outlets on I got down on the ground and there was poop and some sort of medication under the table. Super gross. I stayed here because everyone said it was very clean but it was not clean. The location is amazing but I do not think I would stay at this hotel again.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Mt. Hood Inn and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and welcoming staff who went out of their way to make me feel at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with modern amenities that made my stay comfortable and convenient. The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location was perfect for me as it was close to many local attractions and restaurants. But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always available to assist with any questions or needs, and truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect.Overall, I highly recommend the Best Western Mt. Hood Inn for anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience. The combination of great location, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and outstanding service make it a true gem in the area. Five stars!

The bathroom shower had hairs all over the wall of the shower and in the tub. The toilet was clogged (not by us) and when we went to the front desk, they handed us a plunger!!! WTH???The coffee was good this morning as were the bagels. The eggs were so rubbery. But the guy stocking the breakfast area was running the entire time!!

Great location if you dont want to be in Timberland lodge. Its less than 5 mins from mirror like hiking trail and 15 or less mins from Trillium lake. We were allowed to check in an hour or so before their check in time. The room looked fairly clean, comfortable beds but the bathroom had a dank smell. The towel that is supposed to be the mat by the tub was wet already, so I tossed it out of the bathroom to eliminate the dank smell. It still smelled musty and wet.The bathroom is a little tight spaced with the door being too close to the toilet, but that wasnt as much an issue as the smell. While showering I look up to see the ceiling light is hanging from an gap in the ceiling, no can, no cage...just hanging with wires and big gaping hole. The breakfast was decently stocked and the person running the breakfast area was doing a great job! The food was limited but good. I think the breakfast hours was also less than the 3 hrs it usually is, but I could be misremembering it.Oh, the one elevator here also was super slow or just nowhere to be found.I think just by virtue of location the rooms are so pricey but the rooms dont reflect that price tag.

Had a chance to stay here instead of driving all the way home and back the next day. Nice location for skiing at Mt Hood. Rooms are clean and nice. Nice parking garage. Did not have time to use the hot tub but maybe some other time. Close to restaurants in government camp. Simple but adequate breakfast in the morning. I will likely stay here again.

Perfect location for Mt. Hood ski event. Not fancy, everything you need, and not much you don't. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, black-out shades, good 7 AM complimentary breakfast, adequate parking, walking distance to local brewery. Staff is outstanding, kind, and helpful. Visited two consecutive years, and will likely return again next ski season.

Everything was beautiful and clean and completely comfortable! Staff were without exception helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and neighboring sites. We were so amazed at the many, many outdoor and tourist places to visit right nearby the hotel!Rooms: Large, spacious & very comfortable! Plenty of accessible outlets (so necessary when traveling!)Nearby activities: Great hiking and walking, Alpine slide & downtown Gov Camp Main Street right out the front doors.Walkability: Need to be careful crossing the street (highway), but so so many great places and things nearby to visitFood & drinks: Great breakfasts daily with lots of choices, drinks & snacks available the rest of the day and night

The room was clean and comfortable, especially the air conditioner/heater, which was easily controlled and worked perfectly the entire time giving the room the perfect temp. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the coffee very tasty, compared to that you get at most "breakfast provided" places.
