Went into rays market in gold hill today to get my elderly cat his fresh pet cat food ,I noticed all of the fresh pet cat food in stock expired in Oct 2023 ,,I let the clerk know ,,then when I got home I looked at the open bag of fresh pet that I've been feeding him & it had expired in Sept 2023 ! This is also not the first time ! These people are selling us bad food for us and our pets ,,watch out if you shop in gold hill & love your family & pets !

The manager is very nice. As a matter of fact, all the people are great. Very respectful staff. I love the fresh fruit and vegetables. They're always fresh and tasty 😋

This grocery store has terrible customer service and the deli food is terrible too…I have gotten sick from the hot bar more than once! Prices are high and they have mean people working there. Not my favorite place

Pretty much has an overdeveloped sense of self worth with their prices. Selection is good for a small grocery store stay away from the deli. Be ready to wait in the line or two sometimes they don't have a lot of staff, staff are sometimes great sometimes cranky.

My kids love the deli sandwiches, so we pop in a lot. The woman working are fast at work making sure I get what i need and everyone here is always friendly. Very pleasant to walk into.

Friendly staff. Could increase check out times with better work techniques, but great employee makes up for the line time. Higher prices than other area stores. Periodically has very good/worthwhile sales. Hours of operation are very unclear! (And appear to change week to week) large amount of parking. They should just cut out their clothing selection completely due to lack of recurring selection and poor floor merchandising. Also greatly need a cleaning crew to come in off hours for dusting floor product.

I thought it might have been a one time thing but today, for the second time, a blonde girl (could have been 2 different girls) totally ignored me while I was checking out to talk to another employee. It literally takes the tiniest amount of decency to give someone an experience at a grocery store that wouldn't warrant a bad review. The prices are also way too high, as everyone else mentioned. Take the ten extra minutes to drive somewhere cheaper where you won't be treated like garbage.

The lady that does the hot case here takes great pride in her work. Hot case is always clean, and she cooks the chicken tenders absolutely perfect. Crispy, yet juicy, not overcooked and dry like most places!

Shop at Ray's frequently, staff is great and polite..attentive to requests and concerns. Today I bought bag o chips. They were on the bottom shelf, however when I chose the bag...eeeewwww disgusting shelf..dirt, dust, and I dont know what else?

It is expensive here. That said, it is a nice well kept store. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. If it was less expensive my Family would mostly shop for our groceries here.

My local grocery store. I adore all of the employees that work there. They are helpful friendly kind and make my grocery shopping experience even more wonderful. The produce is fresh the meat prices are very good and they're butcher is amazing! I wish everybody had a local grocery store this wonderful

Been going to Rays for 20 years and I can say they have only gotten better and better.. Very nice , never to crowed. There is a butcher on hand weekdays and I can have meat cut to my wish. Very nice..

This is the only grocery store for miles (with the exception of a small corner deli in town). So, I guess they feel they have the right to charge their high prices. But, if you don't want to drive far, you have to pay. They do have a hot/ready food section. You can get pretty good Jo Jo potatoes and fried chicken here. They have a deli that will prepare sandwiches to order. And, they do have a pretty good selection of wine/beer.

So damn expensive! I dont understand why Ray's always tries to rip off the people who live in small towns! Totally not fair! Would rather drive back into Central Point. The store is not very clean. During summer theres fruit flies in the bakery items. It's just gross. They're a very small store too. Why is everything marked up so much??!!

Ridiculously expensive! And they always charge more than the tag says! If you order from the deli, have it made fresh, it's always super old. Dairy products are always expired...

Overpriced like all the rays stores. I don't hate the place but they charge way too much for everything . They ocassioanally have meat bonanzas but the selection is poor and the prices are only ok. High turnover of staff is probably an indication of the issues there

Going to this store is okay. I really only go here, because it's close, and if I only need one or two small things. The prices are too high here, but I have to go 30 minutes away to the closest grocery store with normal prices, so for just a quick trip, Rays works.

While shopping I was judged and discriminated against by not one but two employees. I will never shop there again. And I urge anyone who does not wish to be judged for not wearing a mask, not being vaccinated, or for the color of your skin to stop shopping there. This place needs to be shut down for treating their customers with zero respect.

The lay out is user friendly the staff are always there to ask question two. They have a buffet for 6.99 lb hot food including marmalade chicken ..Breakfast Lunch Dinner.

My husband has a verifiable and documented disability and infact recieves SSD benefits. He cannot wear a mask or any facial coverings because of this. I have asthma and have a prescribed inhaler for this. We stop by Rays to grab a quick dinner for the family since it is soo hot out (7/25/10 at 1830). Rays denied us entrance, which is their legal right, but does not have/offer any assistance to obtain groceries for customers who medically cannot buy groceries (eg cubside pickup, online ordering, ect) and this is an ADA ( american with disbilities) violation. This type of discrimination against individuals with disabilities is not only unethical but also very disheartening. Shame on you and your discrimination ways rays! I would give this company negative 10000000 stars if possible. Inexcusable!

Ray's Gold Hill is good for most things, but they don't carry Boyds Coffee RedWagon bods or Seattle's Best Portside Blend two of our favorite blends. We love salt water taffy too, but not theirs, it's hard has a rock .

I'm glad Ray's here many times I've shot down there Saturday and Sunday mornings to get bacon for breakfast or eggs or whatever my wife tells me to pick up better than going to town I hope they're always here

It's about a third more as usual stores you know like Walmart and WinCo but if you just want to do some fat shopping and not go to town it's pretty easy to get in and out
