Excellent, excellent, excellent place! When I eat the local food they have available here I can feel how much richer and nutrient dense it is compared to other organic food I have purchased other places. I really feel energized, satisfied and sated.I appreciate how much they care about quality, and purity of ingredients. I strongly recommend this whole food store. I have yet to find another that surpasses it.

If you want wholesome organic groceries and fresh produce from a local grocer, this is one of the best options in town. The fresh produce is superb and the prepared foods from their kitchen are excellent. It's a small place, always bustling with customers. Come here and discover sublime items unknown to larger well-known corporate organic grocer chains.

The food is fresh, the staff is helpful and I always enjoy shopping here. They have a great, fresh salad bar. The prices might even be less than whole foods. I prefer shopping here to Whole Foods. It is more similar to Natural Grocers, but a great community landmark. Lots of bulk food options, even bulk soap.

One of my favorite places to shop! This beautiful natural grocery store is one of Eugene's special gems. It has bulk good and teas, specialty health foods that can be hard to find elsewhere, tinctures and supplements, alternative magazines, a wine and beer collection, deli, *phenomenal* organic produce section and salad bar. The staff have also always been super friendly and helpful.I highly recommend this special store to anyone who loves that natural, cozy, semi-old school hippie vibe.

This is a gem of a grocery store! I would have to say everything good can be found here! Such an awesome salad bar!

Largest selection of organic and whole foods I've ever seen. Be sure to check it out. No place to sit down to eat inside, but an impressive salad and hot bar for carryout.

Not my kind of store. Still I did find a few things to take down to the food drop box at the church down the street. I did find a few things for myself, but I will not be returning any time soon. This is not a knock on the store. This place is not my thing. The, uh, self importance of a couple of owner types? Employees? I don't know. The place is too small and crowded for walking down center aisles and refusing to share the space. This was my experience. There was no getting away from it. Now, there were people working who were great. The cashier was most pleasant. Anyway.... Nice variety of fresh, bilk, canned, and boxed goods.

Probably one of the best markets in town huge bulk section and great prices on locally grown produce in most other grocery stores you have to look for the organic stuff here it's the exact opposite I dare you to find something "conventional"

Best grocery store I’ve ever been to by a long shot. Produce is off the charts and consistent. Bulk selection is amazing. Prices are lower than even chain groceries typically. And best self serve coffee in town to boot.. I’ll seriously miss this place if I ever leave Eugene.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse experience at a grocery store. We walked in and it was busy which should be a good sign. But at the very onset we were huffed at by every employee like we were in there way. The isles are very narrow and I understand that since you have packed a lot into the space you have available. But to be huffed at and be rude for trying to look at anything is unacceptable. Furthermore when we went to check out the cashier not only spent 5 mins having a conversation with the gentleman in line in front of us as we waited but there were more than us waiting to check out. Once we finally made it to her she was beyond rude didn’t say hello threw out grocery’s and made rude faces at every single item. Like we had interrupted a conversation and how dare we have the audacity to say hello smile and pay for something. Then when we went to leave after she rudely told us to take our card out she threw the receipt at us and then as we walked out just yelled “there’s more buttons” over and over until we signed the receipt, which is fine but how rude can one person be? Everyone just goto Capella’s market, they’re friendly and have reasonable isles. Avoid this place like the plague.

When I visited Eugene on vacation from Charleston, SC, I expected to eat at a number of notable vegetarian establishments. BUT, after I visited Sundance for the first time, I was hooked. Everything I ate for the next week came from this wonderful store. Many natural food stores (I won't name the most obvious) should be called "ultra-processed stores." They are as unhealthy as any standard grocery in this country. Sundance had an unbelievably wide variety of WHOLE food offerings, often sourced from local providers. I can't thank Gavin (the owner) and his staff enough for providing such a remarkable source of healthy, whole, and delicious foods (their Black Bean Patties, made in-house, are the best I've ever tasted). It makes me want to move to Eugene!

I love this place so much I will drive out of my way to shop there. The vegan food on the buffet is delicious and everything is reasonably priced. There's also a huge selection of herbs, oils, vitamins, and organic skincare products. Highly recommended Sundance for all of the above and more!

Not everything here is vegan or vegetarian. (SEE PHOTO) Vegetarian through and through, and lots of vegan items. (I'm vegan). Many health and nutrition options, so many organic goods, hot soups, pre-made sandwiches, and a salad-bar (with more than just salad, also tempeh and pastas), lots of bulk items. They also surprisingly have 1 type of nattō, plus wonderful rarities like tempeh starters!

Have loved Sundance for 30+ years. When I’m on I-5, I swing through Eugene to stop at Sundance Natural Foods. They have a great selection of fresh and packaged foods along with a salad bar and hot food bar, which is perfect eating healthy on road trips. The only downside is that many/most of their cold salad bar and hot bar dishes have added sweetener.

This is the best natural food store in the universe. From the meticulously curated selection, to the friendly staff, and timeless vibe, there's no where quite like Sundance. Some say it is expensive, but compare prices on exact items to other local stores, and you'll find, that simply isn't true. They have great prices, especially on supplements.

This is a sweet, little grocery store that's perfect to pick up a few things. It's a bit small in there and space is limited, especially during busy hours- so I just plan to go later in the day. Speaking of, I really appreciate how late Sundance stays open compared to other grocery stores which makes me come back time and time again for snacks or that ingredient I happened to forget! They always have interesting and package free produce as well which is a bonus- especially during the Spring and Summer months.

This place always smells amazing...takes me back. Great place to stop for a healthy lunch with their self-setve deli items. Also, it is the only place in town with cheese. Cultures available that I could find.

Step in and you're in a time machine, back to the 70's. Completely vegetarian grocery store, delicious hot and cold bar, ample bulk foods, coffee self serve and baked goods. Also, natural pharmacy products and bulk soaps and shampoos. All squished in a small space, which adds to the charm.

Wow, what a cute place! The produce aisle is like paradise - someone does a great job making it look beautiful. All your favorite natural brands plus plenty of local stuff. A good magazine rack, too! We visited from out of town but you can tell this place is a community hub.

Came all the way from Keizer cause I love exploring little natural food stores. It's nice to get organic specialty items that you can't get at like WinCo, Walmart or Safeway. It's very cute clean and the cashier was very nice. Way better then lifesource in Salem. I hope someday organic food will be affordable for everyone :) I highly recommend trying the curry cashews in the bulk section for a savory snack. And the salad bar was fresh, delicious and I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area.

I'm new to Lane County and live in Springfield. I passed by on the way to another errand and stopped in. It made me happy the minute I walked in. I texted several friends saying this was my new 'happy hippie place.' Positive energy. Friendly staff.

My absolute favorite neighborhood grocery store. We moved to South Carolina and I can’t get this little market out of my head. Places like this make me homesick. Amazing pre made food and amazing kombucha. The staff was always polite. When we are back home, it’ll be one of my first stops. 💜
