I had a very positive experience with this family-owned, local company. Andrea was a pleasure to work with and I felt throughout the process that they were deeply invested in making sure the customer is happy with the result, nomatter how many twists and turns of decision-making that entails. The installers were also friendly and efficient. The finished product is slick and clean-looking (note: pics below show gorgeous solid surface counters; ignore the wacky wall colors, as both rooms are still in progress).Tile-setters from a contracted company also did a beautiful job of the tile backsplash. They accidentally scratched the countertops with the tiles, and McKenzie kindly sent some reps in to buff out the scratches for free, which I appreciated.The only thing to be aware of is that their showroom boasts a larger selection of countertops and stone than tile; they do have several major suppliers and access to samples, which they can order for you. But it's worth knowing that they seem to really specialize in stone and solid surface. If they have the tile you want, you couldn't pick a better company to work with.

When I started my project I had no idea where to start and the project got bigger the more shopping around I did. When I went to McKenzie Stone and Tile I was already overwhelmed by some of my own decisions. Randy was my salesman and he made it all very easy and simple because they had all of the countertop and flooring materials I needed for my project. It was so nice to have it all planned by one company. I would call them the next time you have any project, complicated or simple. They will make your life so much more peaceful. They offered many demo pieces for us to take home to see in our space so that we would be comfortable with our selection and ensure it was the right piece for the space. When I was ready to order, our sales rep was able to meet our tight timeline and have the tile shipped and delivered to their store within a day; really going above and beyond! True professionals, our sales rep, the gentlemen who templated our quartz counter top, and the install team were all wonderful to work with. We were scheduled to have a delivery and installation of our new countertop on Thursday of last week. The top was loaded on the truck for the 1 1/2 hour trip when someone noticed that the size didn't look right and called me. It was wrong (these things happen sometimes) and McKenzie stone and tile rushed the top back into production and still got it delivered and installed on the promised day. They didn't make excuses or deflect responsibility on the problem-they apologized and did everything they could to make sure we were happy with what they did for us. Polite, professional, prompt, tidy and productive.They made a small mistake, no arguments, out the next day to drill a missing whole. I am 100% pleased. Every step from customer service, planning, templating, material choices, pattern layout, installation and finish)was professional, seamless, on time or early. The challenges inherent in updating a 1956 lath and plaster build where the "built in place" cabinetry was saved were met without breaking stride. If I had known how easy this was going to be, I would have done this many years sooner. Can't recommend them enough. They've earned their reputation.

Went to the store with my daughter who just bought her first house. Unfortunately she has an extreme fear of dogs. This store has a very sweet dog that roams the place, so my daughter was fearful to enter. I suggested that they post a sign on the door letting others with anxieties or fears know before they enter that they have a pet roaming the store. They were so sweet, kind and understanding and have since put a sign in the front window letting people know that they can call and ask for the sweet dog to be put behind the gate before people with fears enter.
