Michelle the coordinator and Ed the driver/mover were both excellent with communication. Always professional, warm and on time. Everything arrived without a hitch and I can’t say enough good things. Moving is stressful and they made it much less so.

We regret utilizing Lile Moving & Storage company and North American for our out-of-state move. These are a few of the issues we encountered:1) Poor communication.*When we experienced shipping delays, we communicated with Lile that we understood that these things can happen and our only request was that our point-of-contact keep us updated. However, this did not happen and when we attempted to reach Lile, they stopped answers our calls, voice messages and emails.*We only learned that our belongings had been shipped crossed state lines when the local moving company called us to coordinate a delivery date. Poor communication with Lile led to much unnecessary frustration for us.2) Poor packing and destruction of property, many items are irreplaceable.*Family heirlooms and vintage furniture arrived without any wrapping/protection/blanket padding and items were simply stacked on top of other items, causing dents, broken pieces and items to be smashed.*Our child’s custom Lego table was torn apart, and flat Lego boards that were super-glued to the table were ripped off. This egregious behavior was completely unnecessary and the table was destroyed. We had discussed the specifics of moving of our child’s Lego table with the Lile crew lead and we were reassured that these instructions would be followed. Sometime after our child’s Lego table left our home, it was destroyed while in Lile's possession. Who would do that to a kid?*Our living room lamps were placed in garden containers amongst dirty shovels, rakes, and unwrapped ceramic pots. The wiring of the lamps was destroyed. Our indoor air purifier and space heater were thrown into an unpacked garden box with the garden hose, unwrapped ceramic pots, and gardening odds and ends.*Many boxes arrived smashed, dented or torn apart.3) We were overcharged. Our moving costs included two components: weight and # of boxes that Lile packed.*Many boxes were partially/half-packed and “fluffed” with packing paper, which increased our costs.*North American charged our Visa the estimate, long before our belongings had been weighed. We also were overcharged for the # of boxes packed by Lile. When attempting to resolve this with Lile, who was still our point-of-contact at this time, our calls and messages were not answered or returned. We ultimately engaged Visa to dispute this charge, and Visa reversed the difference after an investigation was completed.4) Dealing with the claims process is a part-time job. Since Lile contracts with North American, all claims are routed to North American. The claims process is time-consuming, frustrating, slow, and fraught with denials then appeals.We love our new home and community we live in, though Lile Moving & Storage, along with North American, certainly made the transition more stressful than it needed to be, and we would never use either company again. We had an excellent experience with our local moving company, AirVan Moving, and would highly recommend them. We wish you good luck with your move!

The moving rep was responsive, showed up on time to estimate the amount of things we were moving. I answered through email or phone many questions. The driver and the crew showed up actually a little early on moving day. They did not waste any time. They packed all our possessions well, though we still did have some minor damage on some pieces when they arrived cross country. But minor considering the larger items that we were afraid would arrive damaged. They did not. The driver was very responsive to our questions about their progress and their location, and he also followed up after delivery with some questions I had. We moved from Eugene, Oregon to Connecticut.

Was looking for a moving service and had a couple people mention Lile Moving to help my mom with her move. Spoke to Jeff in the office and he was very nice and made everything very easy to understand when it came to the insurance side of the move making sure everything was protected and covered. The crew was very professional and was able to get everything done in a quick organized way. Definitely would use again and would recommend to anyone looking for a friendly, positive moving service.

We had an AMAZING experience with the team from Lile. They were extremely efficient, professional, and careful as they packed our house. Carey (Kerry?), Gerald, and Michael were a rockstar team that worked great together. They made us feel confident with our move and took so much stress off our shoulders. Carey labeled our boxes so thoroughly that unpacking will be a breeze! They answered all of our questions and were so respectful during the entire process. I wish they could do every move for us! We've moved a bunch of times and they were by FAR the best packing team we've ever had.Thank you again!!

I am writing to recommend Lile Moving. I recently used them to move from Eugene to Springfield, and I was very impressed with their service. They were very efficient and professional, and nothing was damaged or lost during the move.I have moved several times in the past, both within the US and internationally, and this was by far the best moving experience I have had.I would highly recommend Lile Moving to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company.

I should have written this two years ago when they handled the move of my house. I believe they intentionally underestimated the in town move to the point of extorting my for more than double the original quote the day of the move. Keep in mind their estimator walked through our home and saw everything when they did the quote. When I called the week before the move it became clear that they had dropped the ball and weren't prepared, but they still said they could handle it. The crew that showed up worked very hard, well into the night, becuase as the crew themselves said, the job was added to their calendar last minute and that the crew was not the size it should have been since everyone one crew had already put in a full week and many didn't want the extra work. Due to the long days, working in the dark at night because of the underestimating and short-staff, items were damaged. I do not recommend this company.

We hired Lile yo move a household across country. All the movers we dealt with was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. The packers did an excellent job with many fragile and valuable items. The movers were well organized and brought a large crew that got the job done quickly.

These guys are punctual, careful and efficient. That’s not too mention just plain nice people! I would hire them again in a heart beat. They made my chaos of a move, a nonevent, and the job was extremely reasonable. The actual cost was less than the estimate. Can’t beat that.

My family stored some things in Lile for about 5 years, and we moved out all our stuff a few months ago. At the Eugene office, the facility is good, the people are very nice, and the price is a good deal for storage in Eugene. The main problem is accounting and billing. Lile lost track of one of our accounts (did not lose track of our stuff -- we got all our stuff). Months after moving out, Lile sent a bill for the old account with a threat to refer us to a debt collector, even though we had always paid on time and it was the first invoice we had received for the account that Lile lost track of. That invoice also continued to bill for storage after we had moved out everything. We recently received yet another bill from Lile for storage, again for the things had already been moved out months ago. We have contacted Lile about this, and again, the people are very nice but the problems with Lile's accounting and billing remain.5 stars for the quality of the people and facility but 0 stars for the accounting and billing.

Lile served as the local loading company and moving coordinator for my interstate move. However, it had been very hard for me to get any updates from them during the process. They kept making me wondering what to expect next and where my belongings were. They also did a horrible loading job, and half of my furniture were ruined as a consequence. (For example, my queen bed frame was loaded in the crate without wrapping.) According to my local unloading company, this was the worst loading job they had ever seen.

Moved with these folks in August and September of 2021. Still trying to resolve the issues. Talked to multiple folks. No one seems engaged or interested in getting things resolved in a timely fashion. Items were packaged poorly and arrived broken. Employees were unwilling to perform the required work. Employees lied about broken items. Some items were left in their warehouse and were finally returned after multiple follow up calls. My wife asked at the end of the move if we could please just do it ourselves next time because of how painful the whole situation was. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else!!!!!!!

Broken furniture and lost cherry dining room table chair, grandfather clock transported laying on its side (broken), dining room table rolled on its side (damaged), crushed television side, dresser corner smashed, cherry cabinet unit had 5 door handles sheered off, delayed destination arrival, and I could go on and on. We had more of our furniture damaged than that which made it safely. That's NOT an exaggeration!!! Thank heavens we took out the maximum insurance! I've moved across country before and NEVER had an experience like this. They underestimated our move volume/weight by almost 30%. It took a furniture repair company several visits to try to repair the damage. American denied replacement of the dining room chair. Said the records show we received it. Well, I'd like to know exactly where it is because it's not in the house!!!!!! I regret to have to say that this move with Lile was nothing short of a nightmare.Service: Interstate moving

If I could put no stars I would. We have never moved across the country, so we were trying to find the best moving company to help make it as smooth as possible. But this company made it the hardest and worst experience ever. Since the beginning there were so many red flags that it wasn’t going to be great, but we wanted to give it a chance I honestly don’t know why. We asked for a quote for specific dates and we did this 2 months before our move. To begin with they wrote the wrong dates and we had to ask them not once, but multiple times to fix the dates because that’s not what we asked for, Randy said he did but he never actually did. It always seemed like we were doing us a favor because we had to call email message to finally get a set date to when they were going to pick up our stuff. When we finally had a date they told us that WE had to call to see at what time the guys were going to pick up everything, my husband had to take the day off and not get paid to do this, and the guys were late to pick up our stuff.So when we thought we were finally done chasing this company to do business with them, it was and it’s still is only the beginning. Our stuff got picked up on June 1 and today is June 28 we still don’t know when our stuff is going to be delivered. We’ve called and email several times and sometimes they say their phones are down, they get hacked and the last time Noah was sick so that means there’s literally NOBODY to give us any information or at least to talk to us.This is the worst and most stressful move ever. We are now living at our new place and we’ve had to buy stuff because they still haven’t delivered our stuff. We moved on June 12 because Noah and Randy said our stuff was going to get delivered between the 15-17 of June which it turned out to be a complete lie.And there’s nobody to talk to because they won’t answer emails or calls.

This review is strictly based on my interactions with the operations manager at this location. My dealings with two other employees at this location were pleasant.I contacted this location looking for assistance in reaching another Lile Moving and Storage location that was contracted by the government to move my home goods. I found the operations manager to be rude, dismissive and unhelpful. I would suggest that when a customer makes contact with your business, even if it's regarding another office, you work to help them resolve their issue without being condescending. Especially when the customer tells you that your company has made absolutely no contact with the customer regarding pickup of their household goods. You may be a different office, but you carry the same name and have an affect on the organizations reputation.

this company called with a confirmed time and then did not show up, and did not call. When I reached out to them, they said "oh misunderstanding, it'll be tomorrow." And then were late showing up that day as well! when they finally went and packaged our belongings for a military move our stuff was already being stored in boxes and totes in a shed. (Our stuff was packed on July 11th.) We were told it would be about a week or 2 before we had our belongings, but I just received our house goods today, on August 2nd. It sat in their possession with no driver scheduled and nothing being done for 3 weeks. We were given a lot of false promises, and that didnt need to happen. If it's going to take a while, fine, just be honest and do your job. Every time we would call and ask for an update we would get sent to voicemail, and no one would ever return our calls.Now that we actually have our goods, I can see that they labeled almost every single box with the word "clothes" and that's not what is in the boxes!!!!! This is making more upset than anything else. I have a house full of boxes and paper and no clue what's in them. I just opened one box titled "clothes" and its freaking CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!!!!!!! Another box was titled "clothes" and it's FISHING POLES, A BROOM, A BROKEN BB GUN, AND AN UMBRELLA!!!!!! absolutely the worst. I'm so upset right now trying to get our house in order and figure out what is actually what. Even the company who unpacked my belongings was shaking their head and embarrassed!!! Not their fault!.

Set date for in town move. They never showed up. When we called they said they didn’t schedule it and didn’t remember talking to me. I remember giving them detailed instructions because our house is a bit out of town and difficult to find. They offered to try to find another date within a few days but needed to talk to salesman. sloppy packing, not cheap, broke my pride art piece and after 2 1/2 months no settlement keep blaming the insurance but won't handle it. other damages every time i move and they've never taken care of them. i would suggest using another company and never use this one
