Beautiful and well kept store. Kinda pricey, but a beautiful selection and we got to feed their koi!!! Was awesome. When I get bigger tanks I will definitely be going back! They didn't have my neon tetras. 😟

Always have fish in tanks and very knowledgeable employees. Decent prices but great atmosphere and huge selection. Indoor plant section is also very nice full of plants and vitamins with knowledgeable staff

I just moved to Eugene from the SF Bay Area and very glad I found this place! Just visit and walk in the front door and you'll see what I mean.They have great gear selection from basic to top of the line, healthy fish and inverts, some amazing salt and fresh tanks (big ones!) in the store, and great folks working there.Definitely highly recommend. Very high level information and advice available too if you need that for any reason/issues/setups.

Customer service I experienced here was incredible. Having purchased an expensive product 2 years and 3 months ago and not having the receipt anymore, they thankfully went out of their way to help me out when they surely didn't need to. Knowing the time I purchased within 2 months and listing out some other items I remember getting at the same time, their employee was able to search back and go through a handful of purchases around that time frame to find mine and offer me the full 3 year warranty that product offered. Needless to say I was thrilled.

Beautiful tanks and amazing fish!!!! The staff are knowledgeable and patient with new people. They have a wide selection of fresh and saltwater fish. The prices are clearly marked on the tanks as well. Large selection of loaches too which is amazing!

Wonderful experience! I came into their building to establish treatment in our 20 gallon tank and left feeling inspired to take on fish tanking as a hobby. I visited twice back to back and spent upwards of $80, yet feeling like I left with far more in expertise and knowledge to go forward with confidence. The few staff I worked with were more concerned over the health of our fish rather than selling me unneeded products. I received a few free plants and sample tall water treatments for my time. The only drawback was when I recorded the technique to siphon rocks from our tank, only to find I failed since the technique was not properly described. A quick YouTube and now I'm an expert. I am strongly considering a second tank for saltwater fish, and this is after going in with a 7yr old goldfish living solitary. I plan on going in many more times over the next few months to gradually build our tank into something beautiful and functional. After two cleanings as described for a regimen, our tank is crystal clear and will only get better. The staff lives their passion and it really shows in how thorough they are in helping you care for your pets 😁👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They have a really good selection of nutrients and other supplements for plants. They have an alright selection of products for hydroponics but it's still better then most. Knowledgeable staff and they're easy to get along with.

What a great place. I didn't buy anything today but next paycheck I'll be in to update my hydroponics nutrients to a new system but others I have used in the past were in their as well as some one I've haven't been able to online. I didn't see the fish side like I want to it looked like it was being redone. Differently a place to check out if you grow any plants and want to up your game, they even answered the most stupid of questions with a real face.

Great place! They had super knowledgable and friendly staff who were willing to help us out in fish selection, tank maintenance and with the questions I had about our sickly betta. We are going to bring a sample of our tank water so they can help us improve our fishes' lives. They have a really wide selection of products in a neat setting.

Aqua Serene is the best Fish and Coral shop in Eugene!They are the epitome of why local is best. The staff are pros: knowledgeable and helpful and genuinely care about getting you what you need. Chris & Paul have been super helpful and friendly as I've learned how to care for my 55 gallon Salt Water tank over the last 6 months.They have a large collection of tropical fish, soft and hard coral and also large amounts of other aquarium supplies.My wife and love walking around and looking at the wide selection of cool fish and coral, also we always have fun with Chris. I think they're a responsible vendor too. Am a regular customer now. Thanks guys!

I love (loved?) Aqua Serene for their wonderful and glorius fish area. They are going through some changes I guess and I am just really hoping they will still have at least some of the incredible selection they had before. Otherwise, I might have to start heading up to Portland for my fish nerd needs.

Was recommended to get a $200 filter that did not work with the tank I bought from them. When I brought it back they would not refund it or give in store credit. I would do your own research before buying anything. 😕I will not be a returning customer.

The place was surprisingly big and had a great selection of both fresh and saltwater fish. The staff members were asking if they could help us. Very friendly and very nice tanks. Definitely will be back.

Great staff helped me find everything I needed for growing my own big healthy tomatoes! Well priced soil additives, pots and grow lights. They also have stuff for ponds, and they breed koi. Unfortunately they just got rid of their aquarium fish department though.

We went here expecting to find aquarium fish. This business is now basically about ponds and gardens. Which they have a wonderful selection for that including coy. However they do not have anything to do with small aquariums for your home. so keep that in mind if you're going to visit the store

They used to be the place to go for anything for your koi pond, now they are over priced, reduced products. The current staff are aquarium knowledgeable but don't know ponds and large fish needs.It's really not worth it to me to make the 25 mile drive.

This is such an awesome place. Love the environment there and everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. This will definitely be the place we will go to get any aquarium needs. And they have their own koi fish too. Amazing place!
