Been in the neighborhood for almost a decade and went here regularly. Ownership changed years back and it has become a shell of its former self. Things have been on a downward trajectory service wise more than usual recently. Ordered 2 red bulls and a reuben sandwich and left a $2 tip. Red bulls were fine, when I got the sandwich I checked it and found 1 piece of pastrami folded over. I went to the counter pretty irritated and told them I wanted more meat on the sandwich, to their credit they obliged. While waiting for them to microwave more pastrami they said "more meat more money" insinuating they made my sandwich the way they did because they were unsatisfied with my tip (after ordering they were chatting amongst themselves about how they were shooting for $100 in tips each for the day). They gave me the rest of the pastrami and as I was leaving they called me "salty". Yeah, a little bit. Better service = better tips.

I swung by to grab lunch for my girlfriend and myself, I felt like because it was the last 30 minutes they were mad that I was there and rushed my order. I tipped the price of my meal only to receive lackluster food. The bagels are always great, but the sandwiches are terrible at this point. I ordered a Reuben, and a cranberry turkey to find a single piece of meat on both sandwiches that didn’t even cover half of the bagel. They tossed my boxes up on the counter and asked if I wanted a bag, I just wanted to leave at that point.

When the food is good it’s amazing. But when it’s bad it is HORRIBLE. The last couple times the food’s been cold or burnt even though I selected easy toast. Last time the online order placed from the night before wasn’t made 20 minute later than it was supposed to. Today I went in and they put sausage on a egg and cheese, and forgot my spread and it was burnt. The works have been seeming very stressed with how busy they get.. makes me sad to see this place being inconsistent and their workers struggling

Ok I thought it was just me, but the other reviews explain a lot. I have also experienced very poor service at Daily Bagel. I kept thinking maybe I just caught employees on a bad day but apparently they’re just so rude and borderline hostile to their customers. I finally spoke up and asked for my to go order because the employees were ignoring me standing there (I could see the bag with my name on it but no one would acknowledge me) and the employee didn’t say a single word and practically thrust the bag at me. There was no thank you or have a nice day. And every time I’ve been there it’s like that! They act like you’re bothering them for patronizing their business! I will never go back there again, you can interact with more pleasant people practically everywhere else you go in Eugene! It literally takes nothing to choose kindness, and being polite and kind benefits all of us and can improve a bad day. Make some changes, Daily Bagel, your service is pathetic! Shame on you! Everyone should go literally anywhere else for bagels!

If I were reviewing the bagels themselves (not sandwiches m, just the bagels) this would be a 4-5 star review. I enjoy the bagels but I have to side with the overwhelming majority about the staff. Very unpleasant bordering on rude. I don’t know if it is the first job for some of these staffers but someone should teach them a smile and a warm welcome will go a long way toward better service.

The ordering on their site is easy and the food is delicious! We got the Dagwood with a Avalanche smoothie and the hot ham and cheese with a Cold Rush smoothie. The sandwiches were big and full of meat and veggies and the smoothies were amazing! We'll definitely be getting this again!

The price is similar to Dutch Bros minus having to drive 10 minutes out of my way. They're always nice and I never wait for my drink. Everyone was kind and professional.

One star is too much. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in the restaurant setting before. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel with sausage and this is what I got. I went to the counter and showed them my bagel and said “is there any way i could get another egg since the egg barley covers one side?” And LIZ- the employee said “that’s just how it comes- if you want more you’ll have to pay and extra dollar” (in very rude tone and didn’t even make eye contact). I will not be supporting this business any more and i advise you to follow. Not good food and awful service.

While our car was getting checked out across the road we walked here for breakfast and espresso drinks. It is a nice place with good wifi that serves bagels, bagel sandwiches and coffee drinks. My wife had the Bagel Melt along with her mocha and found it quite good. I had an Eggs, Cheese and Bacon bagel hot breakfast along with my latte and also enjoyed it. The little cookies that came with them were a nice touch. The people were nice and it was a good place to hang out waiting to hear about our car. We would go back.

First time I've been here and while the bagels were good the one person helping us must have been having a bad day and was kinda rude. She acted, and had the facial expression, like I should have known I need to order the half dozen at the register but not follow the sign and specify what kinds I wanted then but meet her over at the bagels and tell her then. Also, the menu on the wall and the paper menu didn't say I should be charged extra for toasting the bagels but she said I should have mentioned at the register when I paid.

I hate to commiserate with all the negative reviews, but it's true, the service here is really dismal. Most of the employees act like you're a pest to even order anything, like they don't want you there. I don't know what the point of their jobs is then, if not to serve customers? To the girls who work here, what's wrong? Is it a bad working environment for you, do you view us as just plain stupid, or what's the problem? Not all of the employees are rude but most are. The bagels and coffee were OK but didn't taste as good as I remember them from a few years ago. I'm just sad because this place could easily be a go-to for me and my family, but I just don't feel welcome overall.

I’ve been loving coming to this place for years. The last several times I’ve been there, the quality of their bagel sandwiches have gone downhill. Yesterday I got cranberry and turkey. Almost no cranberry sauce, was only on one side of sandwich, even less creme cheese and lettuce was mostly slimy. Similar issues with other sandwiches many times. Very sad. The bagels are great. But I’ll forgo the (used to be fantastic sandwiches) in the future.

Ordered twice so far, both times through Grubhub, both times I requested lox bagel without onions or capers. First one was lovely, no issues there. Second time... Well, look at the pictures. Luckily I'm not allergic to onions. I already gotten a refund processed through Grubhub, so I don't need assistance on that end, but between ignoring my request + the genuinely sad amount of lox, the only thing keeping this from a one star is the fact that my first order was so good.I'm not angry, I'm just sad. :(

I drove past this place quite a bit and decided to try it. I was not impressed with the food or the service. I just ordered a sandwich and asked for no cranberry on my bagel. I received a sandwich, and of course, it had cranberry on it. I told the lady that made it that I asked for no cranberry, and she told me that the ticket did not say not to add cranberry. I was also told that the sandwich couldn’t be remade because she was out of the bagel that I had my sandwich meat with was not offered a different bagel or told if it could also be remade; I ordered a smoothie that was made out of yogurt. That was very disgusting and sour. My total order was $15, plus I tipped, which totaled $17. No Go for me 🤷🏽♀️

I used to love the daily bagel, they were the best in town. Over the last nine months I’ve stopped in handfuls of times and I would say 8/10 times my order has been incorrect. I’m not sure how much more clear I can be to get the correct order. The employees also always seem so annoyed when you ask them to repeat the order they just shouted out. Maybe think about taking names at the counter so there’s less confusion and annoyed employees.

Asked for the bagels for here but got them to go. Also took a long time to get the toasted badges. Coffee was almost drink by the time the bagels turned up. My wife had the hot bagel melt and was in love. I had the peanut butter bagel -- as one of the more closer to vegan options -- and it was okay.

This use to be me and my husband's go-to place for breakfast on Sundays. The last few times we've ordered, our bagels have been incorrect. The staff us a bunch of young girls who very obviously don't care at all about customer service or correct orders. They are always very rude and seem very irritated at your presence. I'm sure if they got new staff that actually cared about their job, everything would be better quality. We won't continue going here.

I normally love the daily bagel but the past few times I have ordered their blueberry bagel or very berry bagel with very berry cream cheese they have given me some sort of super salty cream cheese. I called to get it fixed and all I was told was that the girl on the phone would tell her manager about it because I was the second complaint today about the same cream cheese. No offer to fix it in any way. I asked if I could place my order again and get the correct cream cheese and she told me it was the only berry cream cheese they had.

Called in my order at 11am on Sunday morning. The phone rang about 15 times before it was answered in a rude and unprofessional manner. I ordered my two bagel sandwiches. Was told it would be about 30 minutes before it would be ready. Hung up on me. Never took my name or telephone number. I should have followed my gut and cancelled order. But went to pick up instead. I get there they act surprised I am not Jerome the only name the had a order for. I ask if they have any BBQ chips i didn’t see any out, the cashier was VERY put out she had to go look and see if they had any. They didn’t. We pay for our bagels and go to walk out and i decide to check the two boxes, where our order was wrong. We take back to counter and they tried to tell us we ordered our sandwiches that way. Ummmmm no no we didn’t . My turkey sandwich had ONE slice of turkey. I used to use this establishment for my personal and business needs. I will now travel the extra mile to take my business elsewhere.

Used to be our favorite place. We would go there every weekend almost, but something changed maybe a year or so ago. And the last time I went, we had ordered ahead for pickup, but when we came in, our order wasn't ready and when we did get it, it was wrong. The person at the counter just seemed really bothered when we asked about getting it fixed. She was a little rude really. In the end, our food still didn't seem quite right. Not a great experience. I haven't been back since.

Bagels are of the softer variety. (Compared to a much chewier texture that some bagel eaters prefer, and I like them both ways.)I go out of my way to get their garlic artichoke park cream cheese. It's the BEST.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one with the "disappearing online order" issue. I ordered 1 single bagel & 20 minutes later when the website said it would be ready, they didn't have a single trace of my order.Both girls at the counter seemed really inconvenienced to make the order that I had paid for, when I showed them proof of my receipt and the charge on my credit card app. I work 2 minutes from here & would order every other week or so, but the quality and customer service has me finding somewhere else to eat & get coffee at.

I'm a professional delivery driver, with years of experience, and very good ratings. I can't accept orders from Daily Bagel because their fulfillment is inefficient, and often inaccurate. Slow deliveries that are incorrect create bad ratings, and that can effect what orders are available to a driver, and of course result in reduced tipping. Management is basically confrontational, and has no interest in communicating... aside from "telling you how it is". I feel sorry for the suffering staff here, and as they get it from above, they dish it out to those below. I wish the management would try to be more aware of the realities that drivers have to deal with, as well as their customers & staff... of course. The poor ratings left here are no accident, it's what happens when the people at the top are unwilling to be even slightly introspective. I will never intentionally accept another delivery from Daily Bagel.
