I have been taking Yuki here, since we brought him home as a little pup. The service and staff are fantastic. Recently, at 8 months of age he became very ill and was meticulously, analyzed by the expert Doctors to find an abscess and infection. They performed life saving services and today (at almost 10 months) he is back to full strength, having boundless, puppy energy. I cannot recommend this caring business and their amazing staff more highly enough!

Always have a great experience with Carlton Veterinary Hospital. It doesn't matter which vet we see they are all amazing. Our dog and 2 cats 🐈 trust them also, that trust doesn't come easily.

Our horse was in a bad way. Dr Heather came as soon as she could, and we all determined that Maggie would not be able to survive much longer; her suffering had to be managed. She had lived a wonderful 32 years. Dr Heather was compassionate and caring, explaining all of our options for the final disposition of Maggie. She calmly took us thru the process, and minimized our grief. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful Veterinary group and staff.

I highly recommend the Carlton Vets. They are the best! They have always given the best quality care to my much loved animals. The five star rating should be five hearts because care this good is better than great customer service... it is love for the pets, the community and pet owners.

We've used Carlton Vet for 9 years. Always quick to get us in and everyone is so kind. Our family has lost several animals over the years and thanks to the staff, they made it alot less painful. There's a reason why they are always having to turn down new patients. These kind individuals that work at this place are amazing!

Nichole is amazing. Calm, takes her time, loving, wants the best for the animals! Sooooo grateful she is working there and they are willing to see us!! Also love the fact the front staff have been the same for so long. Shows it’s a good place to work.The office is also clean and they are affordable which is another huge blessing!! Very grateful!! Answer to a prayer!!

I really appreciate the approach here. They are kind, caring and thorough, but also practical. Unlike many vets where you can feel like they are just trying to rack up the largest bill possible, Carlton is reasonably priced and they try to present options mindful of cost. Highly recommend!

Small animal services are generally top notch. This veterinary outfit is staffed with dedicated, highly skilled professionals, from the front desk to the highest levels. All our animals have received absolutely the best possible assistance and treatment. One wonderful thing -- these vets and their assistants never talk down, always explain what's happening in accessible terms, and are compassionate to their animal clients and also to the humans. I recommend this outfit without reservation.

I understand not excepting new patients right now... but when I asked about when they open up to new patients... I was told they would only except carlton residents. I live 3 miles away and wouldn't be able to take my dogs here.... I have never heard of a vet doing this!

Dr. Nichole checked on my dog often while he was having a hard time keeping food down and having diarrhea. She even had staff check in with me on Saturday.It’s very convenient to have a veterinarian in Carlton with such courteous staff.

For both my canine and equine needs I've found the Carlton staff to be helpful and knowledgable. I appreciate the collaborative style when I know things and the educational style when I don't. I don't feel patronized and I always feel supported. My animal companions are in good hands here as am I.

I'm very picky about where I take my animals. I worked in the veterinarian field for a bit and found Carlton Vet to be ok. I didn't like the fact that they didn't listen to my dogs chest or take her temperature when we went in for a constant cough. Willing to go back to see a different vet, before I make a decision whether I will be returning

We had an exceptional visit with two of our cats today at Carlton Veterinary Hospital. The staff was great -- they explained all of the procedures and our options, telling us the benefits and going into detail wherever necessary. More importantly, they were WONDERFUL with our two persnickety cats. One was whisked away to get a booster -- didn't even hear one of his classic epic yelps from the other room and he was back in his carrier before returning to me. Our other cat, who is very fearful of strangers, was handled with loving kindness. I felt at every moment that the staff had my pets' wellness at heart. Thank you!

About a year and a half ago my aussie mix jumped out of our car at 40 MPH. She ended with a laceration under her arm and a broken pelvis. Dr. Lapinski and staff, did an absolutely amazing job with my dog and getting her comfortable and healed. Even made a ‘home check’ on her while I was at work to ensure her comfort on her own time!!Amazing staff and amazing work I really cannot day enough good things about Carlton vet hosp.I travel from tigard for their services when I need them because of the quality and care I receive from them. Ayva and I are Forever grateful for you guys.

Don’t bother if you care about your pets. I was a loyal customer for 10 years, never questioned their “treatment plan” even when there was no improvement. When our girl’s health took a took a severe downturn and we reached out to them for help their answer was “oh that sucks, we don’t have anything till Monday”. I could not even get a call back from the “on-call” vet. In what world is this ok?!
