Friendly service and a decent selection, open when others aren't and located where people need it.I used to come here as a kid in the early 90s so it's difficult to give a review of the current ownership.. they used to have fresh butchered meats, fresh veggies, grocery items all from Western family, and a deli with killer sandwiches.Now, they have a selection similar to a 711 or circle k, maybe a little larger. Unfortunately the place needs some cleaning and paint, but I'm glad they are available.

Drab on the outside and in. This looks like it used to be a decent grocery store. Now it's more like a ran down convenience store that is in despair. This place needs a facelift and well, just about everything else too.

Carlton Market is ideally located between McMinnville and Yamhill, Oregon on Hwy 47. Walked through recently, since I just moved to the area, and wanted to see what they had to offer. First impression was, "Now this is a back country store".. walking the isles, I noticed that they don't have a lot of the big items that you would normally shop for, but hey, that's what the big grocery outlets are for. What they do have, is the spur of the moment items that one needs from time to time. Condiments, dairy, hygiene, frozen foods, sandwiches, and even a good supply of food for your critters. They do have a decent size walk-in cooler with adult refreshments available.Since I occasionally enjoy a cigar now and then, I asked the clerk if they carried a particular brand. They didn't carry it, but the clerk said that if I bring the label from what I'm looking for, he would see if they could stock it in the future. I thought that was some excellent customer service. All in all, a nice little market.

EDIT: from 1⭐to 4⭐ the inerior was reno'd and looks cleaner overall feel is better and owners/employees are friendly now... Happy to say BIG improvement !* * * * *Not much of a market. Has minimal inventory and they are not exactly nice; kind of bordering on rude. Only go there if I absolutely MUST!

Only comment i can say is i was greeted with a smile underneath the mask im sure when i came in. I was attended to and got everything i needed. I was in and out within a few minn and all together a good experiance. Not much time to look around but it seemed well stocked with the essentials. Small parking lot wheelchair accessable with Oregon lottery. I will have to return to give full review

I walk using a walker so when a door or doors to a building of a businesses are easy to get into, then I give kudos to that place. Carlton Market gets kudos because their door was easy to get into that means their business is handicap friendly!The market was nice and clean and had a wide variety of items in it from household items to dog and cat food but their stuff was kind of spendy. The staff were nice and friendly. When I checked out it didn't take them long to take care of me.So, if you're looking for great Custer service and speedy service, then Carlton Market is a good place to go.

It's fine. You walk in, grab your food, and walk out. Deli prices seem reasonable, have not tried their food in a long while. Guy behind the counter often seems inattentive.

Nice size beer cooler, and overall decent selection. Great little market for a quick deli item, beer, candy or other mini market type item.

It's one of the two stores in Carlton. Be careful of Expired items, I run into this alot. The beer is good and cold,deli food is overpriced due to the quality of product.

Worst place ever it's kind of funny that they have anything to do with being named a convenience store$3 for a quart of chocolate milk 2 bucks for a 5 lb bag of ice everywhere else dollar 65n for chocolate milk and $2 for a 7 lb bags and every time I've gone in there the guy sitting behind the counter on his phone
