I hate paper bags! I want to know when in the hell we can kiss these paper bags goodbye and get the plastic ones back? I mean really of all the things that cause problems life has enough problems it's hard enough being physically disabled you have to carry heavy bags any amount of distance especially upstairs or long driveway and their paper at new slash people this is Oregon where it rains frequently making everything wet paper tears even easier when it's wet and then I find out you're charging for paper bags when you shoot all only be charging for plastic which would mean of course raise would not be able to charge for bags since they haven't carried plastic in over a year. My advice get plastic bags back . I mean do you honestly do you guys honestly believe that those paper bags even ever make it in the front door intact I'm curious because last night like every time I'm dealing with those bags they're shredded and handles tear off. As far as my grocery experience goes I am quite pleased and it seems as though they've come down in their prices a little bit at least which is nice cuz I like food!

Driving through Oregon can sometimes build an appetite. Ray’s did not disappoint. Their hot food section made my dog very happy. Thank you for the wonderful memories. I love you Canyonville!

Janet at the deli had absolutely horrible customer service. She was rude and snappy. She was kind to a local gentleman but heaven forbid someone new come in to grab food. She needs reprimanded. Only gave two stars since the sandwiches ordered were okay.

I stopped in to deposit some plastic bottles. The machines were all down and there was a customer already waiting so they've been there about 20 minutes. I didn't notice that the plastic bottle machine was working so I deposited the few I had that were plastic and when I tried to enter the store to cash a little 90 cent ticket both customers in front of me at full carts.I lost without cashing in the ticket and now I've been told I don't cash it the day that I create the ticket it's worthless.I am now out the 90 cents.I guess don't go to Ray's on sundays?Am I able to bring the $0.90 ticket and some other time or is it void as I've been told by management?

Only 2 stars because I like a couple hot chicks that work there. Anybody giving this place a good review should be ashamed of themselves for lying to their fellow neighbors. Didn't your momma ever teach you not to lie? High priced expired items is what you'll find here. Anybody says different. Slap some sense into them. They rather let their products rot before they lower their prices. Greed kills. Deli sandwiches get 5 stars.

The manager, a short blonde lady is the devil. Her attitude is so plastic and aggressive.I used to shop here but now i drive all the way to gocery outlet because the vibes are much better there. The manager here is very very rude. Never shop here. Why be aggressive? No one is being mean to you. 😓

Nice staff and deli. Produce section is fresh and appealing. Good selection of cold beverages. However, prices are that of a convenience store.

This is the most ridiculously high priced store in the area for its size. Will be glad when Grocery Outlet gets in here, maybe it will put them out if business. Ray's are known for going into areas where there's little or no competition, then people who are already struggling on food stamps or welfare are all but forced to shop there, because they can't afford to be driving for miles out of town to shop. In my eyes they are pathetic. I make it a point to ask employees and even their managers in different aread if they buy their groceries from Ray's. NONE of them said they would pay those kind of prices, except maybe for one or two small items. I hope you're hearing this Ray's, your prices are exorbitant to the point of greed. When I complained to the head office, they claim they don't have the buying power of Sherm's Markets. Excuse me, Ray's operate 38 stores, while Sherm's has 4. And there's no comparison how much better Sherm's prices are in comparison. It's not hard to see why Ray's have now gone from having 65 stores operating down to 38.

A bit old school in a great way. Like walking into a market in the '50s but with modern products. The deli was great and food prices were a little high. About what you would expect from a small town grocery. Most other Ray's in Oregon are pretty modern, so this one is a bit of a stand out.

I just used Rays online shopping thru the app Mercato. Lynn the store manager filled my order and was wonderful! She filled it as if she were shopping for herself. I was skeptical using the app, having someone pick out my produce but Lynn has put those fears aside!! If you are unable to shop inside the store for whatever reason I highly recommend using this Rays for your shopping needs!!

It's a good thing Dollar General doesn't carry produce and meats or they'd probably be out of business by now. They aren't real competitive on prices. The people are nice though.

I am in Canyonville frequently, I typically stay at 7 Feathers, and when I do I always stock up at Ray's Food Place. They have virtually anything you can think of, far beyond just groceries. They also sell plenty of delicious fresh items for when I get tired of eating at the Casino. The store is very attractive, well lit, well stocked, and in a beautiful shopping center, Canyonville Commons, with plenty of parking. Quite frankly, for such a small town, Canyonville is fortunate to have such an outstanding super market. I go out of my way to shop there as I think it is important to support it.

It's better than nothing but check the dates on things and its very expensive that is the products. Give yourself some space as some of the customers stink like mold cigeretts and old b o. It made me laugh when I saw the fresh fruit isle.

My niece and I were in the area last week and walked around town looking for a place to eat. We spotted the deli inside Ray's Food Place and had a nice little lunch before we got back on the road towards home.

The prices are higher and the meat and produce are good quality. I shop there during their sales and find it a less stressful shopping experience.
