I was pleasantly surprised. For $45 + tax on a weekday, I wasn't expecting such a nice place. The hotel isn't modern by any means... but it's clean and convenient! I walked in to the pleasant smell of a freshly cleaned room. No weird smells. The heater worked and was easy to figure out. The fridge was bigger than most. The coffee pot worked... there were plenty of outlets...the bed was comfortable...the shower worked well and it drained properly. The sink was in a separate room from the toilet and shower...The lady who worked the desk was sweet. Snacks and coffee were available to take with you on the morning. Bonus......big coffee cups.If you want a good night's sleep on the cheap... book this little place!

Nice motel and good restaurant. The only problem was the coffee maker in my room didn't work. Good thing was you are in walking distance to circle k which you can refill your coffee for only $1😊Walkability: Everything is real close to you. Convenient store, gas station, Post office and so on.

Room was clean, plenty of hot water, coffee pot, frig, microwave. Can only get ice when restaurant and bar is open, no ice machine for customer use. Restaurant on site Mexican food seemed to be the only food but very good. Office lady very nice. All other restaurants appeared to be closed when we were there except for a hamburger joint with a pizza place in same place.

This covered all the essentials for me! Booked a night here on a work trip on a whim to get out of the heat. To that end, it was nicely air conditioned, clean and decent bed. Receptionist was a cheery gal too—gave me a few dollars off the room.The ice situation was pretty funny; made me laugh to fetch ice from a cavernous bar!

This is your bare-bones motel. It was certainly adequate and clean. The water pressure is amazing!! BUT ... the security lock was missing from the door and the beds were much too soft. The TV would not give us local stations but the wifi is great!! The front desk was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was rolls and fruit and oatmeal and they had good coffee. Overall, I'd say it was an okay stay ... The attached restaurant was excellent and the server there was very very good. He had a difficult customer and he handled it with way more grace than I would have. Stay here, eat here ...

I have stayed at this motel several times. It is my go to when I'm on the road. The rooms are clean enough, with a retro 70's/80's feel. Beds are firm, but not too firm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I've had issue, they came running, happy to assist any way they can.Last stay, they were at full capacity with construction guys and I was pleased with how quiet it still was.If you are looking for a good place to lay your head and a decent price, I recommend Knights Inn!!

Barbara at the front desk was nice and helpful..the place is a little out dated but very clean..you got plenty of room for semi trucks a bar but it doesn't open until 4 PM a restaurant on the property a store across the street it's easy access off the main interstate. Quiet ...felt safe there. Would definitely stay here again.and the price was reasonable.

Pretty much what you'd expect from sub-$100 a night room. The good-Quiet enough and there is a decent Mexican restaurant right on site. Barb, the receptionist, is friendly and helpful. The Bad-Funky, moldy smell in room. Dated. Wall outlets pretty tired and warn out...items plugged in don't stay in. Electrical tape was holding tv remote together.Not sure I would stay again but it was a roof over my head on a long trip and better than trying to push through when I was tired.

For the price, this was a great spot for people just passing through. Not much of a breakfast selection, but wasn't too surprised.Our main issue was that the air conditioner was not capable of keeping up. While we only stayed here for a night in the spring, it barely got down to around 75 degrees.That being said, for the price, the staff was nice and the rooms were really clean. Perfect for a one night stay passing through.

The motel is definitely showing its age, but it's also obvious that it's being maintained with what I'd call "TLC". For small operators or individual franchisees the hospitality industry has been pretty brutal the last decade or so, and it's apparent that this motel is a labor of love to keep up and running. The room was clean, everything worked, and the staff was super friendly.

Very cute little place to stay. Comfortable bed. Lighting was a little weak but either than that, it was really nice. It's located right off the freeway, has a restaurant and bar you can go to. You're also next to other places like gas station and a burger place that serves breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. So this is very convenient. Hotel also has breakfast in the morning.

The Knights Inn shares many similarities with Americas Best Value Inn in Boardman. In many ways, my review of the latter fits perfectly with the former. I'd urge you to read that review and apply the same to the Knights Inn.If I were to reiterate/add some comments specific to this motel? First, I have vivid memories of this place when I stayed here with my family in the late-70s/early-80s. Those were clearly the peak years for this property, as much of the interior of my room looks as if it wasn't updated after it shuttered and the reopened. Cases in point? The god awful carpet and the suspect bed covers. Second, this is an indie hotel, though it is--like Americas Best--tethered to the questionable heft of the once great RLHC. Third, angry reviews often seem to be a function of the problems with the reviewer, not the hotel. Sure, some things are likely to go wrong at a hotel this old, with this lack of updates. But look yourself in the smudged mirror and ask: what were you thinking when you booked a night at this place? Fourth, there are some upgrades (the curtains, some of the paint) and some true positives (strong A/C, good water pressure . . . at least in my room, fast internet, pleasant check-in process).As some others noted: this is a budget motel for the those wishing to spend south of $100. In this day and age, this motel is what you get. Is it a value? Not necessarily. But it is priced as it should be in this market with the cost of lodging having gone up and up in recent years.Would I stay here again? Sure.I'd also add that I find the lack of apostrophes in both motels' names comical. But that is really beside the point (of this review, at least).

Upon initial inspection, the place was great. The price was right, the bed was big, and it was about as clean as one would expect from a small town motel, but then morning came. When we had arrived we were so tired we didn't realize just how hard the bed was, but we both awoke incredibly stiff and sore and realized we had essentially slept on a stone slab. I always thought any warm bed is a good bed, but thanks to this place I'll have to add an asterisk.Note: having only stayed in one room, I obviously cannot speak for every bed, but I feel this is worth considering before booking.

Very old and outdated. The only positive I can give is that it is close to I-84, gas stations and food. I discovered roaches the second night I stayed, and if I hadn't prepaid, I wouldn't have stayed past the first night. Toilet and counters are very low to the ground and the bathroom is extremely small. One of the lights in my room didn't even have a light bulb. To be honest, I'm probably being kind giving it 2 stars. The free breakfast consists of individually wrapped danishes and juice boxes.

Nice, clean room. Perfect for pulling off the road to sleep. Safe & good long haul parking. Inexpensive, pet friendly. Not the most comfy bed for two full sized adults, but manageable. There was a nice Mexican restaurant next door. They also have light breakfast & coffee.

Not the fanciest place, but my room was clean and smelled a little of bleach which always reassures me that it has been disinfected. Right next to a restaurant and lounge. There's a 24 hour convenience store/gas station half a block away too. Reasonably priced and allows pets (for a small fee of course). There's a nice big park and playground across the street out back. I actually lived there for 3 months last year. Got to know the manager pretty well. Salty old broad, but that's what I liked the most about her. 😉

Can't speak to the hotel, but ate at the Mexican restaurant on-site. Holy cow, this place was amazing. Best salsa in the history of all salsas, phenomenal fish tacos, and funny tequila shooters. Please eat here, tip generously, and enjoy the heck outta that salsa.
