[March 12, 2018]I met the new owners today who reopened Horton Market less than a month ago as "Horton Pit Stop". These are the same nice people that have the cafe at Low Pass, Oregon on Highway 36.A lady up the road at Hult Log Storage Reservoir was telling me that the previous owners had the store for 30 years or more, popular back when there was a mill up the road. The next closest market is over 8.5 miles away in Triangle Lake, OR, so this should be your go-to spot to grab picnic supplies on your way up to the lake. Support local businesses like this to preserve history.

It really was a store. Didn't really look like it from the front. Cashier was very nice and a selection of a few necessities.

A perfectly adorable little shop with a major mom and pop vibe that has endured the test of changing generations. They have everything a lakeside shop should stock from fishing gear to beer and frozen burritos.

Superlative mercantile, as good a gas and stay...or go as I know of. What could be sweeter than swallows looping as you enter a place in Coastal Mountains of W. Oregon history?Peruse the walls as you discover the thoroughly stocked store's charms along w/ those of the swell folk who are there to help. Beyond commerce a true ***** hybrid cross between 7-11 and classic mom & pop Gas and diesel to boot. Thanks Horton
