Writing this on 4/1/2024Dr. Clark SLAMMED MY PUPPIES HEAD INTO THE TABLE, SQUEEZED THE LIFE OUT OF MY DOGS EARS TO GET HIM TO STOP WHINING.Instead of sedating a little bit he made me hold him down as he pinches down super aggressively.I’ve taken 3 other dogs for ear cropping here. I’ve referred about 5 other people who have actually taken their dogs to get cropped here. This last time I went everything was a NIGHTMARE. Boy went in for a cropping the 21st of March. Ended up getting parvo that week. (Think he got it there because dr Clark tested him later that week and said he’s been treating other pups ) I treated him at home and glad to say he’s made a full recovery.I scheduled an appointment for the 30th to get his stitches out. Front Desk said I didn’t have an appointment for that day and was scheduled for the 6th. Dr. Clark saw us shortly after either way because that made no sense on scheduling it 16 days out whenever they specifically say they need to be taken out at 10days.Reached out to dr Clark about how his ears were already opened up but what a surprise no answer. I get it was a Holliday but I’ve waited for a response but none yet. From now on when I refer people here I’ll mention to take them here if you want your 30lb puppy treated like a 800lb cow because that’s sure what he was acting like.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Clark for over 20 years. He is best! He is very caring with all the animals he sees. And his staff is great! I don't know what I would do without them. I will and I have recommended him to all my family and friends.

The doctor did an absolute fabulous job on my European Doberman ears! The first picture is only one week post op and the second picture is now. We only posted his ears once and they haven’t flopped since! I highly recommend this doctor for ear cropping.

Exceptional care was given to our baby when getting his ears cropped. I highly recommend Jefferson county animal hospital. We live 2 hours away and it was worth the drive.

Dr. Clark was amazing and took care of our new puppy. We appreciate him very much. Sam, the receptionist on the other hand was not! She was extremely rude, very harsh with her words and expression, and didn’t seem to care about us at all. She didn’t welcome us in , say hi, or I’ll be right with you when we walked up to her nor did say thank you or have a nice day until I said something to her. So heads up. Five stars for the doctor, I’d give one star for her!

I have used Doctor Clark for my pets and livestock for years. He is the best and does not charge nearly as much as others. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to anyone that cares about animals.

We bring all of our animals here and we love the staff so much. They handle our fur babies with care and love. They even sent us the sweetest card after we had to send our 12 year old puppy over the Rainbow Bridge. From kitten shots, to doggy toe removals, to taking care of our sweet girl in her final moments, the staff are amazing, kind, and intelligent.

Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Presently has my Tomcat and has treated my very loved dogs. Very fare with treatment cost and compassionate towards all animals with expert knowledge. He is a wonderful Doctor. Hope my Tomcat is feeling better at the 🐈 motel.

We have been sitting for over 45 minutes on an appointment we had put in 3 days ago as 2:00 now has somehow been changed to 2:30 its now 2:59 and we have yet to be seen amd completely overlooked 2 times before. Highly recommend clearing your schedule for an hour after your appointment is scheduled.

The best experience Ever! You can beat their prices. We drove 2 hours to pay $250 for my Doberman ears to get cropped. In Dallas, it would've cost us $800.00.

Doc's great , he's been taking care of our cats and dogs for the passed few year's. We have #4 kats and #4 dogs all rescues , he has saved one of our dogs from dieing when another vet said just put her down and I never heard any of that from the Doc he told me what it was going to take to save her !!

I had made an over the phone appt in December and the next available wasn’t until feb so I gave a deposit and scheduled. I call to ask when it was since again, it was made over the phone and didn’t receive a reminder card and they said it was Jan 7. I said no it’s in feb, so that went on and I asked why I didn’t receive a reminder, the lady says “we’re a small office and don’t do reminders”. That’s not an excuse ( I have experience in the same setting and no!). I didn’t mind the fact that I always felt unwelcome going in and they were always short with me, the ladies were never friendly like mentioned in other comments. But I was there for my animals only so whatever.

I brought my puppy into the vet on the verge of dying. Dr Clark saw him and immediately begun treating and found out he had Parvo. He was very blunt about my puppy’s prognosis, but he was hopeful. Throughout his stay Dr Clark and his staff kept me informed of his progress; the good and the bad. Despite everything pointing that my puppy wouldn’t survive this, he beat the Parvo. Aries is alive today because of the wonderful staff at JCAH. Dr Clark went above and beyond to save my dog’s life. I would recommend him to anyone I know who needs a vet. Everyone up here goes above and beyond to provide the very best care to your pets.

Vet does a excellent job keeping track records of your pets. Always gives helpful tips. If he is able he even takes emergency visits at different hours late or early.

Everyone one was so kind and fast I took my pups to have there ears cropped and I have never seen it done with out the use of sticks to hold the ears up but I must say they did a dam good and I would recommend them if you don't mind the drive I would've gotten them done here but it is so expensive $1500 but I call them and both my pups done and gas, food round trip for not even half that thanks doc

I took my English bulldog to Dr Clark for a simple cherry eye removal surgery & he "accidentally" cropped her ears like a pitbull. Refused to do anything about it. Wont return or take my phone calls. I called him & he ignored it but responded with a text saying he refuses to talk to me & told me to talk to his lawyer. He made the irreversible mistake & acts like im at fault. I tried to be civil w him, but he wouldn't even talk to me. I was forced to get a lawyer & handle the situation in the courts.
