I bought some Bar S bacon and 18 pack of large eggs from this store and the bacon was tainted and spoiled and the eggs were bloody. I sent a complaint to the store and have not received a response. I'm very disappointed with this store...

Some really good deals sometimes. But stear clear of the Ozark Bread I've bought 2 loves all were under cooked. Really nasty in the middle....doughy wound up throwing both of them in the trash

This store was reasonable pricewise, until they remodeled. Now and then sale prices on certain items is reasonable, but not worth the drive. What you save in money, you spend on fuel getting there. Yes, it is clean, most of the staff is friendly and helpful. Great variety. I protest the free fruit for children. It should be available to everyone especially seniors on SS. Even if you have to pay a few cents on the fruit. Promotes self respect and dignity when you have to pay for it.

Used to be a really good place to get discounts and deals. Now post-pandemic and with them inflating prices it's hit and miss. But they do have some excellent deals in the weekly ad especially on meat prices. Wish they would go back to pre-pandemic prices. Hard to use the "inflation" excuse when other stores have the same product cheaper.

The bakery went above and beyond today. I ordered a cake for a sunday morning pick up at Walmart. They called me at 2 on Saturday saying they could not do the cake it had been discontinued. I picked out a cake that was in there book. I am now rushing to get one ordered. Firelake bakery helped went above and beyond on helping me get this cake order and done by sunday morning I did not get her name but I want to say Thank you and you really helped with the little boys cake. They were able to find one they could do and have it to me in my rime of less than 24 hours.

Went in on the 28th to purchase some groceries. I used a visa gift card I had from my work. The purchase went through and everything seemed fine as the card was empty i tossed it in the trash as i left. I was contacted today by some one from the store saying that the card was rung up wrong and asked if I would pay again. I said that since I had already paid I would not pay again, they tried to harassing me into paying with the threat that the 81.38 would come out of the cashiers check since she did it wrong, they even stated she was new. This is unconscionable to threaten my conscious with that poor woman's pay being docked due to their mistake. To me it should be a write off the store should carry since it is obviously a fault of their training. In fact I beleive it is probably illegal to dock some ones pay in this manner.

this place was great when i forst started coming here i came in here today for a cake for my 6 yr old and somehow the only bakery lady and im the only person in line and she takes 1 hr back and forth asisting every white person except me standing infront of the register waiting for her to say can i help u. i get thirsty its too hot i grab a vitamin and drink it i bought 2 carts 380$ worth of groceries so 2 white guys from the fromt could now follow me around while i shopped for all of that so when im paying a manager could tell me did u pay for that? really your going to ask me about a drink when im buying 380$ worth of food. never coming back i have never went shopping for groceries and been so racially profiled i am mexican american and if ur not white in this store ur not welcome here or they act like u dont exist.

Went to store to pre order some steaks. A young man named Levi was so polite and helpful and went out of his way to help me. With customer service that this young man gave me won me over and though I frequent this store regularly and always had good experience, Levi proved what a great assert he is at his job. Thank you Levi for answering every question and being a great employee all around.

Got a pound of ground beef there today and when I opened it to cook it. It smelled horrendous. I don't even want to go back to that store, even for my money back. This is the 2nd time we've experienced an issue with their meat the 1st time their whole store smelled rancid. Guess I should have never went back. My mistake won't happen again for sure.I'll get fresh meat from Braums.DO BETTER FIRELAKE

We like this store, they have a great stock of grocery items. The employees are very helpful and take the time to show you where items are. The store is always clean and neat.

Pretty impressed with our first visit, especially on a Sunday. The whole store was very clean, the aisle are nice and wide. The staff were helpful and friendly. The majority of the items are regular priced to slightly higher. But the sale items were definitely a better deal then other grocery stores.I'd definitely recommend shopping here for their sale items. The name is a little misleading for the majority of their items though.

The store is always clean, the aisles are wide and the employees say hello or do you need help. Checkers are very good. The clientele look older and I hope show their appreciation. I am always treated very well. This grocery store has earned my business.

I went to Firelake/Shawnee and I have to say that the customer service there was outstanding!I cant remember a time at any type of big store, grocery or otherwise where the employees have been so friendly and so helpful.I went for the low prices but I will go back because of the service.#BeyondFiveStars.

The store is always clean. Great deli and hot food selections if you are in a hurry. Large produce section and they have good prices. Never wait very long in line, they keep adequate staff at the registers. The employees have always been polite and helpful. They now have online shopping and pick up. I haven't used this yet but hope to soon.

This is my favorite place to shop. 24/7. They have great products, prices, and employees. The store is always clean. I really enjoy their produce and the whole store environment. There is always great sales going on here. The meats are awesome also.

I called in and ordered a birthday cake for my Dad's birthday party. Asked if they could put a picture on it they said yes. But I have to email the picture.i did. Same day right after the call. I get to the store to pick up the cake the clerk says "Oh by the way, I didn't get the email until after I made the cake." How is that?? Either she didn't check the email or something went wrong. But the email was sent WHEN I ordered the cake. So they just scribbled a Happy birthday in letters that looked like a 4 year old wrote it and then stuck his picture the size of a coke can bottom in the corner of the cake. I had to just get the cake because the party was to start in the next ,30 minutes. They had the nerve to ask me if I accept the cake or do I want them to make another one. This bakery staff sucks!! Didn't offer me a discount for THEIR mistake. Or even give me a coupon. DONT ORDER YOUR CAKES OVER THE PHONE,!! MATTER OF FACT GO TO WALMART!!!!!!

Clean store, meat department is great, deli is top notch as well. The polite blonde girl in produce is extremely helpful even if it's locating items in other parts of the store. She keeps the produce department looking clean, organized & stocked. I can definitely tell when she's not working because the produce looks horrible & I've even found mold.
