They have excellent doctors and wonderful staff. Cierra was the young lady that introduced herself and the DR she was working with I believe she is new to the clinic she is who we booked with on the phone also. Last week she helped my sister be at ease while she was freaking out because her baby was in pain. She made the visit so comfortable and constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything outside of just the vet call. Going over medications and expectations in thorough detail as well as asking if we had questions and answering everything we could think of. DR Bellinger is an excellent vet and they worked well together almost reading each other to get our girl who was not feeling well some relief. We will ask for her every time we schedule now. Thank you team for being so awesome!!!!

I RECOMMEND THIS VET! I started going here with my fur babies when I was in highschool because my whole family goes here. They go the extra mile to help you out. They are fair with prices and make you feel welcome. If they can't do something they refer you to someone who can and I appreciate that. Instead of just turning you away they offer suggestions. My puppy had parvo and they could only test her but not hospitalize her. They gave me a vet name that can and i got her in the same day on a Saturday. That level of help is what saved Nellie's life. They are friendly and I recommend them to anyone with livestock, horses, dogs, and cats. They may even take smaller pets I've just never asked or needed that.

Professional Courtesy Post:) our staff at the Spencer SPAY/NEUTER clinic met Dr. Bellinger today ! We have heard wonderful things about his practice in JONES and we’re even happier to find out that he is a supporter of low cost spay and neuter programs for low income families and animals :) it is very rare in Oklahoma to get support from private practice doctors who are willing to work alongside low income based programs. It was refreshing to meet a veterinarian who supports these types of programs and is willing to take on clients we send their way that need a FULL SERVICE clinic!We wish this Dr. Bellinger and his staff the very best and look forward to working together to Offer the best in veterinary care to all clients :)

Dr. Snider literally save the life of my grand dog life. When I took her to the emergency vet in this city and seen Dr. Snider I literally started to cry because I knew my grand-dog would be in the one of the best hands possible! She and Dr. Bellinger "shoots from their hips". They're honest and very compassionate about their patients. They aren't as expensive as most clinics and they will not "milk" your pocket book! Their quality & level of care is superior to others in this business. The staff deserves to be mention too. They all have a heart for their job. Everyone there "oozes" integrity! Dr. Ellis has to be proud to still have his name attached to this clinic.Thank you many times over to ya'll for I know my critters are in the best care possible!

Dr was kind, knowledgeable, fast, and caring. A great vet to take livestock and pets.Edit: after reading a few reviews that were critical it’s worth elaborating my recent experience. My pet suddenly fell ill and wasn’t acting herself. I called around and everyone was booked till I reached Ellis and Bellinger. They squeezed me in a same day appointment and the parking lot was packed full- between dogs, cats, calfs, sheep etc. my pup got what she needed quickly and professionally. When it comes to timeliness and following through these folks are fantastic.

Didn’t even care to try and save my dying puppy. Charged me over $100 to say we can’t take her but if you want to sit here for 15 to 30 minutes the dr will be here and can put her down. She past a couple hours later in my arms. Fluids should of bein started immediately not oh just chill and we’ll put her down no problem.

Didn't spay my dog correctly... Then charged me $50+ dollars to tell me they "potentially" screwed up.. Would not recommend this vet.In response: My apologies the correct verbiage used was "rare" this happens and not potentially. I feel the single star review is valid and reflects the service level I experienced. At no time was additional testing given as an option. I was specifically told that the next steps would be to cut her back open to verify if there was any remaining tissue then remove it, and if none was discovered then it would proceed to exploratory surgery. At no time during our engagement did the vet make any effort to build trust, confidence, and reassurance. Even though you offered to make it right; the overall customer service and interaction caused a divide between provider/customer relationship. In turn solidified my response and even more so after reviewing your response to my review.

I highly recommend these guys!! They are so kind and caring! They treat your pets like their own and the staff is just wonderful! Very good and fast in an emergency situation! My small dog who is around 13 years old was attacked and had his eye ball hanging out and pallet broken and the staff had hope! They took amazing care of him and it’s been almost 2 months and he’s in amazing shape! Still healing but acts like it didn’t faze him! We are so grateful for the fast, amazing care they give to every one of our animals! This is our entire families vet and we love the care they give!

I have a 13 month old Maltese male who I purchased for breeding. My heart was broken when I got his DNA results back and learned he has Von Willebrand Disease as well as an umbilical hernia. I got scammed buying this dog. I couldn't in good conscience breed this dog. I live in a Albuquerque, NM. A city of over 559k people. I spent 3 full days calling every single veterinarian here and the surrounding areas explaining in detail my situation. Not one single of the veterinarians would touch my dog. Most veterinarians in this area are corporate owned and/or money hungry. There was no way I was going to spend the amount of money they wanted on a dog I was not going to keep. The last vet I took him to refused to perform his hernia and the price doubled for the neuter. He left me with the option of euthanizing him. I was trying to do the right thing. No one would help me. I have 3 intact females at home and needed him neutered as quickly as possible. After speaking to my mentor, Carol Swift, I called Dr. Chris Bellinger and spoke to him over the phone explaining my situation as well as the dogs health issues. I explained that I knew the risk that he may not survive the surgeries and that I wanted to give this sweet dog a chance at life. Dr. Bellinger did not hesitate to say, "Sure, I'll try to help." With that, I scheduled an appointment for the following week. I drove eight hours there, stayed in a hotel room, and dropped him off the next morning. That afternoon I get a call that he was in recovery and that I could pick him up in 1.5 hours. I can't begin to say how exceptional Ellis and Bellinger Veterinary Clinic is. Their treatment of my dog and I was amazing! Dr. Chris Bellinger will be seeing more of me and all my pets. I will travel the distance regularly to have a competent and caring veterinarian who is more concerned with the care and treatment of animals than the money he can make from them. Hands down the best Veterinarian I've come across in 40+ years. Definitely recommend this clinic and the travel expense it costs anyone who cares about their animals.

Dr Bellinger has treated my dogs and horses. I’ve taken critical patients to him who are now happy in the pasture, or on the couch. The staff and vets at this clinic are so caring, demonstrating empathy during difficult times. We had to have our 15-year-old black lab put down recently - a most emotional and difficult decision. They were so gracious and treated Penny with the utmost of respect and honor. We also had to have a horse put down recently and they graciously went above and beyond, proving they really have the care of animals as their primary mission.

We love this clinic!. Are they the closest? No. We drive past several to get there. We appreciate the blunt force honesty we get from Doc B & the staff. They always go above and beyond for our Big Guys. We can ask questions and get answers to help us learn to care for our rescues even better.Highly recommend. Well worth the trip!

Dr. Ellis and Dr.Bellinger are professional, kind, and they care about my dog. She is a senior dog with aging health problems. Dr.Bellinger is informative and doesn’t mind spending time with me. He thoroughly answers all my questions. The clinic I was previously taking them to was charging outrageous prices. Drs Ellis and Bellinger’s prices are very fair.

Took our horse here at the beginning of September due to respiratory distress. They took samples and sent off to the lab. So far so good. Well, here we sit at the end of September with a sick horse, no usable lab results. Both my husband and I called the vet multiple times. 2 weeks ago he told us that the mare had a fungal pneumonia and we needed the confirmation plating from the lab so that we could determine the correct medication to give her. He told us 10 days for results. That makes sense. Please take into consideration that my job deals with microbiological results and testing and confirmation testing on a daily basis. All of this so far makes sense. So, after 10 days, we contact the vets office to see if the results were in and to see what we could treat our horse with because she sounds terrible but we need to make sure we are treating with the correct drugs. The receptionist has no clue what is going on, and was very unhelpful. The vet never calls back when we are told he will. I finally asked for the results so I could get a 2nd opinion from a different vet. The 2nd vet tells me that we need to wait for the confirmation of the lab plating. So I call back again. NOw the vet is on vacation and won't be in til Monday. Finally, we get the answer that the confirmation testing was NEVER ordered. The lab can't get us results because the account was set up from Bellinger. So, we are now out $400 plus, still have a sick horse, have been waiting for a week for results that were never even ordered and WE HAVE TO TAKE HER TO A DIFFERENT VET. Save your time, just go to a different vet to start with. I know I will.

Dr. Ellis has been our family vet for three generations and I’m saddened to see him step away. With that being said I will no longer be using this facility. I was told they couldn’t see my sick calf this morning because they were backed up with Preg exams. It’s sad times when routine checks takes presidents over life. In the cattle world we are like family and help each other out when you realize someone is only about money and themselves we don’t want nothing to do with you.Not four hours from my requested time, I called yesterday morning and then again this morning to try to up the appointment due to her declining Heath. Doc Ellis always made it work only having one vet. I’ll stand by my statement that is a sad day when a routine check takes president over a life. Makes it pretty clear you’re more interested in the revenue and less about the animals.

Where do I begin. Dr. Bellinger has saved so many of our animals over the years and trust me we've had and have many animals. He's always there for us always. He's gone above and beyond for us and our fur babies. Dr. Bellinger has even gone as far as volunteering and donating his time to help us with animals we've saved from the side of the road which are usually very close to death. He has a huge heart and is so kind to all his patients even my donkeys. Thank you Dr. Bellinger. I can't thank you enough for all you do for us and our furbabies

I have been a dog/pt of Dr Ellis/Belinger for 20 years for routine visits for my small and large animals and I call today to get an appointment for the vet at that clinic for my yorkie mix and it was very imperative to see because she is sick and they could not see her, Very Upset to be with a vet for that long and they blow you off. Not very happy with that... You would think that they would all hands on deck for Mondays and be prepared.

I brought my 12 yr old pug in for breathing complications. Dr Ellis had an idea immediately after looking at her. Checked her for heartworms and sure enough he was right. After starting her on meds for heartworms a couple weeks went by and she started to get worse and not eat. Took her back in and Dr. Ellis ran some more tests and determined that the meds were effecting her kidneys. She's an older dog so her kidneys weren't strong enough to help her get thru this. He was open and honest with me, and that's what I respect the most. He told me that she wouldn't have long. But, he could make her comfortable and back to eating. Which of course I wanted for her. He put her on an IV that I give her twice a day. After a week she is back to a normal dog. She's happy, eating and taking her meds. I'm so grateful to Dr. Ellis for helping us get thru this difficult time and making her last days comfortable. Heartworms are no joke, get your dog tested for heartworms. Thank you so much to all the caring staff at Ellis and Bollinger.

This is the second time we have had to call ya'll in an emergency and been told no. First, was you didn't have any vets (even with 2 there) that you couldn't help us. Today I called with a dying horse cause of a miscarriage of twins and you told me since you had not seen our horses before you would not make an Emergency farm call. This is so heart breaking that you dont care enough about animals. No I couldn't load her up to bring her in she wasn't able to stand on her own she was having seizures due to blood loss. And you had the nerve to say you couldn't but was there anything else you could help me with. That is a stab to the heart cause well you WON'T come help my horse and she bleed out seized and is dead. So changing this part of your practice would make it sound like you actually cared about animals cause both experiences with the lady answering the phones is cold and she doesn't care.
