My friend and nephew and myself went there, 1st time. The service is great, the food was fantastic. Best burger I've had in a while. If there was anything to complain about, it's the amount of onion rings with our order, I just would think that a burger and onion rings would have more than 4 little onion rings. My friend ordered exact same order and hers was the same. Not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning I felt.

Made a reservation for my family of 7, we Showed up on time and the hostess was rude to us as soon as she saw my kids. Apparently kids are not welcome there because the reason for her attitude was the fact we brought our kids with us for Valentine's dinner. She told us we couldn't order from the kids menu and $21 and up was the prices on the 5 dinner choices on the nights menu.I was really excited to try this place but i will not go back, we made a reservation and I wish we would have known kids were not welcome before wasting our time and waiting for our reservation and then having to find somewhere else to eat.

Our kiddos thoroughly enjoyed the laid back and friendly environment. The waitstaff were friendly and the food was simple but tasty, a good home-cooked meal. We will be back for more! 🤤😋We were so hungry when the food came that we did not get any pictures of it. 📸

We were driving through the area when we found this restaurant to stop for breakfast and so happy we did!The French toast I ordered was delicious and my husband thought the chicken fried steak was one of the best he’s ever had!We will definitely return here next time we’re in the area.

First time there from out of town but heard of it through local family. It was hard to find even though Peggs is a tiny community and wasn’t sure we were at the right place you have to go through a small side door, no windows I was told they have moved into the back of the building it used to be in. Must get business from word of mouth. Was greeted graciously and when I said it was our first time she said “well then you are in for a treat” so my expectations were high. Service was great but then it was about 2 pm so only my hubby and I and one other family. I had the Swiss mushroom burger and it was very good, mushrooms were freshly grilled. Went down from there. Hubby had chicken fried steak, it was small, he said just ok at best. I also had fries, very bland and not very many. But the biggest disappointment were the mashed potatoes and gravy hubby got. I tasted and maybe the most obvious fake potatoes ever and very little gravy for the chicken fried steak or potatoes and they NEED the gravy. Okra was ok only.Parking: Larger gravelKid-friendliness: What I assume are the owners two daughters were there one on roller skates the other playing with her dolls so obviously kid friendly. This evening my family visited for the 1st time. I had heard lots of positive feedback from everyone and I'm so glad we finally got to come try it out. 1st of all our service was amazing! I didn't catch the young lady's name but she was very attentive. Next, my husband was super excited over cinnamon butter😁. 3rd, our food was amazing! The flavor from the seasonings added in my bacon cheese burger were amazing and same with the chicken strip. Also, loved how the chicken strip were cut. Over all 10/10 would recommend and we will most definitely be back . Oh yeah, and the chocolate cake was amazing!

Great food, friendly servers, great location, great atmosphere. I had the chicken, pesto pasta, and salad, both were Amazing. My friend had the chicken fried steak, it was delicious, you can cut it with your fork, she got a side of green beans, they are Amazing, takes you back to your childhood eating with all the great cooks in the family!

This was some great soul food along with some unmatched service! Great atmosphere as well. Went with my car group and although we were a larger group our food and service was very prompt as well as super delicious! 10 out of 10 would recommend! If you're a cookie person don't forget to try the Skillet Cookie, best suggestion I'd ever got!

We had the most wonderful meal. The rib eye was huge, the lemon pepper chicken was delicious and I wish I could made baked potatoes as yummy as these were. The salad was fresh and terrific. I’d eat here every day.

Imma foody so here goes.. 3 star at best.. Pricey $$$ for the portion size (mischelin chef style but aint no mischelin) overcooked and dry steak.. Food was served kinda cooled down. Service was decent, but will probably not go back or use their catering. And I love whole cafes out in the country but this ain't one of them!

Literally the best service I've ever had at a restaurant! I've worked in kitchens for a decade and this felt like a host family bringing us into their home. We came out of a storm, they gave us towels and blankets and the cook came out to invent vegan dishes for us! They also gave my daughter a free shirt to change into!

We are never be disappointed in there food,from there green beans,and there potatoes , baked or mashed. My husband loves there steaks, and me I so enjoy eating there pork loin,and there lemon pepper chicken 😋.But I am stuck on those ones for now.There service is awesome with a smile.You'll leave there, happy you went.God Bless Table 5.
