I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars because I realized that I was not being fair by giving 3 stars. My feelings towards the owner over a past issue should not effect my opinion of the store. I understand that the small town grocery stores have to compete with the bigger store such as Walmart etc. The store always has great fresh meat in my opinion, and reasonable prices. Almost never out of anything that I'm looking for. The employees are always very polite and helpful. Especially the ones at the deli.

The prices are bad everywhere but the pig ownes up to its name and eats way more than it's fair share price gouging the locals. Save your money and go to 10box I'd give less stars if I could!!!!

You’ll pay more here than Walmart or Dollar General, but they’ve generally got what we need for simple recipe groceries. Lots of bare spots on the shelves at times, but that’s not completely their fault during these times. Good luck getting service at the deli counter if you stop for morning breakfast, you almost have to send up a flare just to get them to walk over to you. As an addendum, we have learned to NEVER eat anything made at this deli, we’ve seen everything from male employees with long hair fixing their hairdo back in the food prep area, dark haired heavy set lady picking her nose while she scrolled through her phone (she only stopped both when we mentioned she might want to wash her hands now), a short male employee with a terrible wet cough using his bare hands to cover his mouth as he walked in from smoking outside, then proceed to prepare food. Against better knowledge, we bought a baguette and a white cake with a strawberry covered with icing in the middle. The “sell by” days were more than a week away in both, and both were covered in mold, we couldn’t tell on the cake until we cut through the icing. I’ll include a photo, you’ll see there’s no way that this wasn’t already moldy when it was iced over by the employees. We contacted piggly wiggly corporate, they just stated they don’t control how local franchises do business. Said they’d forward my info, and the photos so someone could discuss this, haven’t heard a thing from anyone. I know this is very long to read, but if it helps even one of my neighbors or community members not get sick then it was worth every minute it took me to type this out.

They don't keep up with maintenance on the equipment I guess. I've got spoiled ribs, sausage, milk, cheese with mold, and mayo. I done with this store.

*updated review*The customer service here has greatly improved over the past year.Still find food out of date or bad produce.Prices for some items are ridiculous. Compared to other local chains.Store is dated needs a makeover.Hot box food when fresh is delicious but if it sits there more then an hour it becomes dried out or overcooked. So get lunch by not later then 10/11am.

The staff are pleasant and very informative. If you can't find something you are looking for in other stores,they most likely will have it! Love this place!

The reason why I gave Piggly wiggly five stars is because I am a old fashioned country girl and they had these all around when we were kids and it just brings back memories that we still have Piggly wiggly's cuz a lot of Little stores like these have got shut down. The employees are nice and helpful. I still like to go to the Piggly wiggly I think it's still a great store.

The boneless shoulder roast was mismarked. It was suppose to be on sale for $3.99 on. It was marked $5.99 lb.i told the cashier they argued with me, I even picked up the sale ad and showed them, and the still said it wasn't marked wrong. The middle freezer case wasn't keeping the food frozen. All that food is going to ruin. It was so warm the Rhodes cinnamon rolls were raising in the bags.

I freaking hate this place, but it's the only place in town to buy groceries. The selection is terrible, and they will sell things out of their deli that have been packaged 13 "or more" days prior...If you have the gas, or the time, drive to Sallisaw and go to CV's or Wal-Mart. This place is seriously a health hazord, and utter dissapointment at its finest. I've written several reviews, and I'm just being honest.

It was absolutely great!I was very impressed by the fact it was very busy and the manager came onto the floor started checking customer's out, answering the phone all the while with a pleasant smile and kind voice.Thank you for setting a great example of how upper management can set an amazing atmosphere in a very stressful work environment.

I won't name the BIG box store that canceled my cake order, which was for my 5 yr old granddaughter's birthday! & without calling me! & at the last second! Thankfully the bakery at Piggly Wiggly saved the day and with the best customer service I've ever seen! Thank you so very much, Piggly Wiggly!

Decent products, good employees but the building needs a lot of attention. It's in really bad shape. Their shopping 🛒 cart's are junk. If they take care of their building, shopping carts and parking lot they would increase their business. If not they will lose them to Walmart.

Decent selection and very friendly staff. It is out of my way to shop here, so I don't often, but I am always pleased with the service when I do. The staff always treats me like a regular, engages in pleasant conversation, goes out of the way to be helpful, and always smiles and invites me to come back again. I wish this store was closer to me so I could shop there more.

The produce is always wilted or literally rotten. The eggs were 2 months past their best by date today. It is convenient in our rural area but not worth money or time! Just make the drive to Walmart or Aldi!

It's ok shopping here. The prices are not exceptional, but if you think about what your saving in gas to pick up a gallon of milk is way better to shop here. Sometimes cashiers do not pay attention to how long the line is and have to be asked by customers to please call another cashier. Other than that, it's better than driving a 45 mile round trip commute to the store.

It's a bit more pricey than items at your local Walmart or retailers. I'm sure due to the commute. I think it could be more fair of pricing, but if you need to grab something it is helpful. They do carry some different brands.

The only reason I shop here is because it is the only store in town to get groceries. If I'm shopping for a bill of groceries, I go else where. The employees are nice and helpful, I do like that. This store is money hungry and I get spoiled milk and roted food.

This store continues to get worse by the day, sorry produce bought a watermelon only to throw it away because it was evidently frozen and then turned to mush on the inside thought we were going to get some decent meat only to find today the smallest pkg of hamburger meat was 2.5 lbs when I only need a pound I guess the meat people don’t know what a 1 lb pkg is it’s always been half or pound and a half when all my recipes call for a pound. Don’t buy gluten free bread it expired in feb and most of the cookie dough expired a month ago or more bad chicken twice I will find somewhere else to shop

I was searching for an alternative to Walmart constantly moving products and eternally long lines at the checkout. I managed to find nearly all of the products that I loaded into my cart last week and left at the door after a half hour in line at Walmart. I even managed to find a few items at lower prices . I am now a Piggy Wiggly shopper. I even found Coke at a sale price. Yea!

Clean, well stocked, they always keep extra checkers on stand by, so rarely any lines. A tad pricer than the other guys, but they will take your groceries to your car with a smile.

I like Piggly Wiggly because it is just the right size to have all the different foods you need without wearing you out trying to find them.They still sack your groceries and will load them into your vehicle for you. They have a sales paper every week with good bargains. The cashiers are always friendly.

It's a great place to shop. They always have deals going on and their prices aren't extremely expensive. The employees have also always been very nice and helpful.

Haven't been there in awhile, but they are a great place to shop. However I was in the parking lot, because Piggly Wiggly and Dollar General share the Parking Lot and they were busy workers yesterday and done a Great job. Didn't stand in line long at all. And I Thank Them very much.
