I had the pleasure of visiting the Oklahoma Aquarium with my children, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we entered, we were fascinated. The aquarium boasts an amazing variety of marine life, with well-maintained tanks and impressive exhibits. It's worth noting that it houses the world's largest collection of bull sharks! We were able to see them up close and even walk through a tunnel in the midst of them. We were delighted by a huge and friendly sea turtle, which even posed for a photo with my children on Sea Turtle Island! The jellyfish also deserve special mention, you can easily get lost watching their slow and elegant movements, which, with their unique shapes and colors, leave a feeling of calm and fascination. My children were thrilled to observe up close the rich variety of fish, turtles, sharks, invertebrates, and even beavers, among others.Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this aquarium to anyone looking for an educational and exciting experience for the whole family.

What a fun way to spend a few hours! My husband and I came for my birthday, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The exhibits are well designed and clean, and we didn't see any sick/distressed looking animals. The shark tunnel was amazing to walk through. As a collector of squashed pennies, I was excited to see several machines around😅😅 The price of admission was very reasonable for the facility, and my husband's military discount made his a little cheaper.

My family has come here at least once a year for a while now and it never disappoints. It may seem expensive but there is a lot of value in it. The extra cost you pay is going towards the betterment of the expensive treatment of sea life needs to survive and thrive. These creatures are getting more extensive care the more they get funded. Every year we see this place improve the life of everything in it. It's very educational and honestly just really cool. Even the area behind the cafe is probably the most elaborate playground I've been to. You definitely need to try the funnel cake fries if they're available, they are so delicious. Also, the staff has always been incredibly friendly!

Always had hesitations about coming here. Online, the aquarium doesn't seem that big, and it's not wrong. I would say this is a guess, but there are around maybe 100-130 different things to see maybe a lot less. It's still nice, but being from Connecticut, we had cheaper aquariums with a lot more to see. We paid $25 per ticket here. They do have a nice shark enclosure you can go under the glass domes and get some great views, but the other exhibits are harder to see with sheer amount of people piling in.Go if you're looking for a place to take the family or a classic date spot. Its still nice.

It was a nice aquarium. Smaller than expected. The shark tunnel was pretty awesome. Very pricey for the size and lots of ways they get more $ from you throughout. I like places like this that have slightly higher ticket prices but experiences aren't extra and the gift shop isn't extremely overpriced. Still happy we went, but don't think we will visit twice.

This was AWESOME!!I LOVE aquariums. I haven't been to many, but I feel like this one had a lot of animals I hadn't seen before. It was a very unique experience! They had axolotls, many jellyfish, eels, even poison dart frogs. There were SO many sharks. A lot of them had deformities on their fins. I'm hoping that was the reason they were in the aquarium, and not something that was caused by them being in the aquarium. There were a lot of children when we went so it was kind of packed and loud. The main issues I had were with the patrons. I repeatedly saw people tapping on the glass of various animals. People also disregarded the rules posted around the sharks, kids and adults alike. Perhaps the rules weren't noticeable enough? I watched a woman specifically turn on the flash on her camera to take a picture of her children in front of the shark area, and she took multiple pictures. People were also loud in the shark tunnel. It bothered me a lot, so if that's something that might anger you and mess up your visit, keep that in mind. Not everybody is as considerate to animals as I'd hope. The shark adventure VR was very entertaining and unique. It was also very affordable compared to other VR experiences I've done.Overall, it was so fun! I'm considering looking into doing an overnight there for my sweet 16 if that's something that's possible (I'm hoping it is, as im pretty sure Girl Scouts do stuff like that)! Money was well spent and very exciting for me.

Do I think as an adult this was worth the 2 1/2 drive? No but my kids did love it. We finished everything in less than an hour and went around to see stuff again. I wished it was bigger or atleast the exhibits had more room. My kids loved that there was a lot of touch starfish and horseshoe crabs, & shrimps, jellyfish. The shark tunnel was our favorite super cool and well designed. Decent priced gift shop and buying tickets online was easy just to get in line tell them your email and you’re good to go. It was over $100 for our family of 4 to see everything in less than an hour which is just crazy to me. But I guess my kids did make memories and that you can’t put a price on.

Super fun! Tickets were $25 each so I wish there was a little more to do, BUT the cafe's cheeseburger was the BEST I've ever had???? Very delicious and was super unexpected LOL! The novelty coins and pennies were super fun to collect, and the exhibits were really interesting. My partner and I arrived when they opened (10 AM), explored the entire aquarium, pet the jellies, fed the turtles and rays, got lunch, loaded up on merch in the gift shop, and were able to leave by 1! I don't have kiddos but I imagine it would be even more fun for little ones

They have a lot of sea creatures to look at. Some of the animals they let you touch too like the sting rays and moon jellies. You can feed some turtles. They have a little tunnel for the kids, that goes through a tank and even a peep hole so they can see the fish better. They also have an area for otters!! There is an outdoor playground that is really cool. We went the other day and it was so much fun. EXCEPT there were a million kids there from the schools. 😫 It was awful how loud they were. Running around pushing people. I had to help squeeze my kids in to see some of the tanks because the kids were just standing there. The outdoor playground was the same. Next time we will probably come at the later times so we don't get stuck with field trip kids. The price is pretty steep about $20/kid and $25/Adult which is one of the reasons I put off coming here. We ended up getting a membership for around $170 2/Adults and up to 4 kids. We homeschool and plan on coming often with our kids.

I'm putting 3 bc my older kids enjoyed it. The visit was a little short, we drove 2 hours to only last 1.5 hours there. Which included them playing outside at the park and 1 ride in the carousel. The young lady directing the carousel was very rude. She was getting upset with my baby crying and rushing kids to get on so she could leave. (They stop the carousel at 5).We could only feed the sting rays, nothing else was open. We were there from 330-5p, on a Sunday so the whole place closed at 6. 25$ each, kind of expensive with little to do.

It’s not as big other state’s Baltimore, New Jersey, Washington DC but it was a pleasure to be able to visit the fee doesn’t match the attraction different places different prices different experiences I would say I’m just visiting the area also it’s more geared towards kids then the public in general all and all I would say it’s an experience worth seeing at least once

Had a wonderful time! My cousin and I, late 20s and early 30s ended up staying for 3 hours! We stayed for 4 feedings and learned about the animals. The design of the space was very cool and engaging from a customer experience perspective. We went on a Monday during the day so there was hardly anyone there - so can’t speak to the busier days. We chatted with a volunteer who was working and he was super friendly and enthusiastic. All the stay members were approachable and helpful. We are the museum nerds who do read everything, therefore it took us a while and we learned so much! The info is very digestible to regular people, filled with fun facts, and informative about every animal. I can see if you skip over that, you could probably walk the whole exhibit in 45min - an hour. I highly encourage everyone to read because there’s many cool things to learn about the animals and you already paid for it.They have a local section so you can learn about fish and animas from Oklahoma which was a nice homage and important to call attention to local ecology. It’s a bit pricey, but I know it’s a nonprofit and I read their financial report and background on the website and I’m happy to support an organization like that.Overall, great place to take guests visiting and if you haven’t been yet, check it out at least once.

Super fun, and clean! Long review.TLDR: lots of interactive things for kids, fun learning experiences, feedings, touch zones, good photoshoot areas.I've now been twice (first time was a couple years ago and they've definitely added since then). The second time I got to go with a niece and see it from a kid's perspective too. They have a carousel right in front, a playground outside that has a super fun music box that you have to constantly spin to keep the music going (great way to tire out the kids), there's a tiny little arcade style area in the food court by the bathrooms. All the animals seem to be taken care of and active. We didn't do any of the extras, but there's a feed the stingrays area, and turtle area too. There's a spot to feed fish that you just need quarters for which was fun.I haven't been but I know they have talks at one of the big tanks with the big turtle, it even had a little bubble to go "in" the tank and see the fish.Right outside that tank there's a spot to touch jellyfish! This was new for me and super fun! They only have it at certain times when a staff member is there to keep an eye that everyone is being gentle, but it's free and worth checking out the multiple times slots. There's another touch zone with shrimp, starfish (NOT the clownfish), and horseshoe crabs.Lots of fun ways for kids to explore and see from different perspectives. Very interactive! The shark tunnel is incredible, but you don't have to view the sharks from inside for ones who can't handle sharks well.Lots of fun places for photos too, inside and outside.I've lucked out both times in missing the school crowd (after 1pm) and it was quiet and has enough space that you don't feel overwhelmed or in anyone's way when you reroute multiple times with a kid(s).

What a cool find in Tulsa! From the carousel rides, to the jellyfish petting and stingray encounter, from the tiniest little shrimp to the beautiful sharks. I had such a great time. Friendly, knowledge staff open to any questions you may have. They were very considerate of the animals and don't allow petting/feeding all day. They go in half hour increments. So just be time aware. The entire walk was about 2 hours. That is to move slowly and see each exhibit and do some reading (like I like to). The shark tunnel was so peaceful. I had never got to experience sharks like that before. The only vice I had in this particular exhibit is there wasn't a worker present inside the actual tunnel to keep visitors and their children from tapping and knocking on the glass at the nurse sharks. That really hurts the heating of aquatic animals. To be fair there was a function going on, so the workers were occupied with that. However you'll find that kind of stuff anywhere. My favorite was Seymore, the sea turtle! He was so friendly and social! And his little face just melted my heart. I also saw they have a new octopus exhibit coming soon! So I will have to go back for that. Cute giftshop and it was just good wholesome fun.
