I took my eight year old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix and they took great care of her. She looks and smells amazing, her nails are nice and short, her ears were cleaned, and she came back with a cute little bandana!She was nervous when I first dropped her off but everyone up front was nice to her and she calmed down. She was relaxed when they brought her out to me and so excited to see me.I will definitely be returning next time Cricket needs a haircut!

My family have taken our pets here since they opened back in 1979. they have always been polite and have often helped out with short notices. I myself have taken every dog I've had here at some point or another for bathing, nails, and/or for boarding and I've never had any issues. my girls are always excited to see them when they go, and are just as happy when they leave. I would recommend them every single day.

Well Id say it was good considering I’m a groomer there !!! We work really hard every day for the pups there sometimes it’s hard but not because of the pups but because the costumers don’t really understand the process and how hard it can be if they don’t bring there dogs when there supposed to , to be groomed !!! And are regular customers they are great

We have been taking our dog here for the last three year for grooming and boarding. We have been very pleased with how she is treated and the quality of care she received. My co-works also like them as well. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for grooming or boarding services.

I can't believe all of the negative comments that I am reading! I have been taking my dog there for the past 8 years. My dog is always happy and playful when I pick him up. He has never come home with any type of critter on him nor any battle wounds. The staff has always been pleasant and they take the time to explain all of the procedures that they have done, in which I am being billed for.If I didn't know any better, I would almost conclude that we were commenting on two (2) totally different businesses........

I bring my 2 dogs for grooming. They do a great job at half the price of some of the other places. My babies enjoy coming here. They also are boarded here when we have to go out of town. They do a great job and make me feel good about leaving them. They even text me pics of them playing when I was nervous about leaving them.

We boarded our dog here while we went and took my brother to college. Our plans had changed the day before we left, and we had no place for our dog to stay. We called and they were kind to let us take her there so soon. When we came back from our trip our dog seemed really happy and excited! We will be taking her here again for her boarding and grooming.

Terrible experience here. They argued with and cussed at my wife who was having a difficult time while I was hospitized. Very unpleasant and extremely unprofessional staff. Also, beware of overcharging and possible harsh treatment of your pets from staff. Our dogs had the runs for days after boarding there, plus they demanded my wife produce vaccine proof for kennel cough even though we had already boarded with them several months prior.

Worst place to go to as far as grooming...took my pup there 2 times....first times they cut the bottom of his eye lash lid..the second time they left a bleeding gash on his underbelly. They didn't tell me until I called them and asked what happened.Please please please pay attention to your animal of bringing them here. They are horrible horrible horrible..Maybe they did me like this because I'm not white..

I took my year old Pomeranian here and she came back fine but about an hour later she was completely limp. She acted dead and wouldn’t open her eyes but was still breathing, she also puked all over herself because she couldn’t move. Took her to the vet and they said she was a drugged dog but her drug tests came back all negative, the only thing new from the whole time I’ve had her and the time she’s been In my house is the groomers. Never had a problem till I took her to the groomers

Avoid this place at all costs... or at least until the the rude, condescending guy at the front desk undergoes some sort of customer service training. Trust me it's not worth it.We scheduled an appointment for our cat well in advance, for April 26th and whoever scheduled us put us down for April 19th (100% sure we wrote the right day in our calendar as they made it clear that they did not have a cat groomer available until the 26th). With that being said, the groomer still decided to see us on the 26th, which was nice. Although, if we had to reschedule we would have, no biggie. However, upon arrival the guy made a big deal that we were scheduled for last week, which we weren't, and he just treated us as an inconvenience. Nonetheless, we get her set up with the groomer and I go on my way. Four hours go by and I'm out running errands and am on my way home, so my wife calls to see if my cat is ready for pick up. We were told the groomer needed another 20 minutes because she was working with a dog at the moment. So I go burn 30 minutes and then swing by. The guy said "No, she's not ready. We said we will call you in about 20 minutes. We never called you. Your cat still needs about 20 minutes. WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN SHE IS READY." To which I said "Okay, I'll wait for the call." I paid for the services while I was there, and went on my way. Well fast forward another 2.5 hours and we finally get a call from a nicer woman wanting to let us know that our cat has been ready for a while and seemed to be under the impression that we were just going to come back again without a call to get our cat. So I go back over and our cat was waiting on the counter for me. As I grabbed her I just asked if she was good to go, nothing more. But this guy just had to be argue, "Where were you?" "You said you'll be back in 10 minutes after running errands?" "No the first time you said this." "You're supposed to do that." .... blah blah blah. It was pointless, argumentative, and poor customer service. I was just going to leave it be and move on. But he really wanted to make sure I wrote a bad review for him. So here I am.At the end of the day, our cat was left sitting without food and water for HOURS longer than she needed to be. A phone call should have been rendered either way when they were done with our cat. Maybe this person purposely let her sit there to spite the whole situation? Maybe because the scheduling mix up, they waited for hours to even get to her? Who knows, but those shouldn't be questions I'm asking myself about a place I'm going to leave a loved one at. The grooming seems like it went well but this whole situation casted a negative feeling about the place. We will not be returning and we advise all to stay away to avoid the hassle.

We boarded our lab for 5 days and had them clip his nails they did a great job and my dog seemed to be happy when I picked him up... they forgot to charge me for clipping his nails and noticed before i had left with him and when i offered to pay for it they told me not to worry about it... they were also helpful with the whole process being it was my first time boarding my dog... definitely would recommend and will be using them again

Took my poodle there for the first time to be boarded and they did not tell me that the dogs get to come and go in and outside with all the other dogs, my baby was so scared when I picked her up she looked like she didn't even recognize me! Got her home, and she didn't act like herself at all, laid around and had a hard time having a bowel movement, and when did it was bad squirty(sorry tmi) diarrhea.. took her to the vet and she had stress colitis! 2 prescriptions and some special food for her for several days, and finally she was my normal baby again. Will never take her there again.

I love the groom closet because it's not far from my home. I take my little Khloe there when she needs her nails trimmed or when I'm just too lazy to bathe my baby Khloe they do an awesome job and she always has on a colorful cute little bandana when I pick her up.I give the groom closet a 5 star rating.

I moved to Enid awhile ago and started taking my dog to the Groom Closet to get groomed. I have a Cocker Spaniel and she is 3, therefore has been groomed many times in her life. When I picked her up she seemed fine. She looked good so I put her in the car and took her home. When I got home I noticed my other dog licking her stomach area as she was standing. So I stood her up and she had a really raw red rash on her belly. I called the and got her in for an appointment the same day.Long story short the rash was so bad she ended up having to get a cortisone shot and antibiotics.I called the Groom Closet and asked to speak to the owner to explain my situation. It was not about the money that I had to spend not only to get her groomed and to pay for her vet bill, but about her being uncomfortable. She is my baby. I simply and nicely stated that this phone call was for customer feedback. And my feedback was to be more careful about not coming so close to the skin on not only my dogs but every other dog that gets groomed there. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. She wouldn't listen to a thing I had to say or answer any question I asked, for she was over talking me the whole conversation explaining why she was right because she has been grooming for over 30 years and that it wasn't possible for her equipment to get close to dogs skin (which cant be true because my dog, keep in mind she is a cocker so has plenty of hair, her entire belly was bald). Everything that I had to say was wrong like I didn't know what I was talking about.I am disgusted at how I was treated and the fact that my baby is now in pain and having to take antibiotics twice a day.I can take a lot from businesses and have never gotten to the point in which I felt such need to write a bad review but I couldn't let another dog or owner be treated in such way.

I take my dogs here once in awhile for doggie daycare. My one dog was very scared going there at first but after a couple times, he even loves going there. The people genuinely care for the dogs and are very attentive.

So just recently became a proud owner of a male 7 month old Yorkie and have always had German Shepherds. I have never loved a dog like my yorkie. So as a new father I took him to groom closet for his first grooming and met a very nice young lady who took my puppy and showed love just by the way she held him and tried to get to know him. When I picked him up after grooming he seemed happy and content. I felt so good about this place and I needed to board him so I stopped by to speak to management about boarding my pup and ask if I could see where they board the pets and where they would be playing if I was to board my Yorkie. As I entered the business, I met a a middle aged man and I explained to him that I was needing to board my Yorkie and would like to see where he would be staying and where he would be let out to play now and then. The man then stated in a rude and disrespectful answer, No you can’t. I then asked why I could not see where my dog would be boarded. The man stated the we have animals in the back and our insurance would not allow anybody but staff where the animals are being kept. I think that is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Sounds like to me this man was responsible for sanitation and I stepped into the business at the wrong time. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this business because of the way This man reacted and responded to my request’s. If this is truly the case and insurance is an issue. The man could have explained this issue about liability in a different manner. This is to bad because my Yorkie really liked the young lady groomer.

After moving to Enid within the past year, my wife had been looking for a groomer to take our small dog. The first place we tried was the Groom Closet. It was easily the worst experience with a groomer that we have encountered. The receptionist was great, the only bright spot about the place, but the "manager, general manager, and owner" as she put it, was less than pleasant.When we picked up our little yorkie from the Groom Closet, we noticed that he was acting a little funny, but didn't think much of it. That evening he could barely walk. We found a severe rash all along his belly where he had obviously been shaved extremely rough. The poor little guy was so sore he did nothing but lay around for 2 days. This is a 6 year old yorkie that has been to a groomer every 3 months his entire life, this was not something new for him.I was/am disgusted at the treatment our pet received at the Groom Closet, and I am writing this review in hopes that your beloved pets will not be put through the same abuse as ours.

I have never had anyone but friends keep my dog. Being new in town I had to find a kennel to board him. I was very impressed with the Groom Closet Pet Center. Very professional and they took good care of my pet.
