That’s great they are a no kill shelter. They also are a no adopt out shelter. They would not let Chance be adopted out to the most amazing dog mom ever. It’s just weird. I would not go here to adopt any animal.

Was trying to adopt a cat, ok here is the deal, I’m here for work, moved across the country with a dog that I adopted as,(my animals move with me when I move) I have a 4,000sqft shop and they wouldn’t let me adopt a cat bc they said their cats were “strictly indoor cats”… I’m about 100% positive my shop has a roof and four walls, doors….that would be considered indoor, was also VERY upfront about getting a cat for my shop that would be lazy and watch tv all day. Very lackadaisical when it comes to vetting properties…didn’t even ask for pictures…my property is nicer than the adoption shack but other than that it’s cool they are a no kill shelter, lol woot woot also, consider they has like 12 cats and told me to call animal control instead, so INSTEAD of taking a very high $150 adoption fee for a 5 year old cat that I visited 5 times, they want me to call animal control bc I guess they don’t really care since they came up with a solution like that

I haven't adopted her yet, until they are done keeping her of health. But I'm in the process of adopting a dog from here, and the people here are really great. They care about what they do, and treat the animals really well. 100% recommend, adopt here if you're looking for a companion!

I took my Grandson here to do some Volunteer work and I also became a Volunteer here. This is one of the best shelters I have every been to. The people who work there love and care for these fur babies like there own. They work very hard at keeping it clean and loving on all the residents that are being kept there.

We visited and met a lovely sweet dog, exactly as described in pet-finders, filled out the application. Set up a return visit with rest of family for same day, we fell in love with dog. Staff was extremely helpful, provided detailed background dog info. Called next morning to say they'd checked out my references, and come get dog. I and rest of family are very impressed with staff and love my new dog! A perfect match.

I adopted a dog from Ward Wiseman about 8 months ago and it was a very good experience. The whole place was very clean and they really seem to care about the animals. The one downside was that at the time (I don't know if it's changed since then) they didn't have a credit/debit card reader so I had to pay cash for the adoption fee and it was kind of inconvenient. Otherwise great!

Clean facility and the staff genuinely love the pets. Really nice area for the whole family to meet the pets. And the staff can tell you all about their different personalities.
