This is our go-to for supplies and advice for our 100 gallon salt water tank. We purchased top of the line lights here and the price was about the same as the online stores. They do water testing, sell supplies and have so much combined experience. I trust these guys.

Great shop....! ,Will special order fish that you need and also quarantine them for you. No longer do I have to order fish online and have them waiting on my porch or at the airport for pickup. Will answer any and all questions about fish compatibility and fish hardiness. I went in to purchase a Blue Ribbon Eel and Travis told me outright that they are near to impossible to thrive in my level of experience. He could have made the sale but chose to steer me away from wasting money. Has most if not all items needed on site for tank repairs,plumbing,hoses,pvc,numerous ball valves,and shutoff valves shopped around at Lowe's and Home depot could not find what I needed to plumb my aqaurium air conditioner. Went to Aquarium Customs and got exactly what I needed at a great price. Also Roland has a wealth of knowledge on fish compatibility and will not sell you something you don't need or will disrupt your tank. I had a massive ick outbreak in my tank and was losing fish fast. I called Travis at the last minute and he came out on the same day of call and installed a new Aqua UV light on my tank. I honestly believe without their help I would have lost all inhabitants. I prefer to purchase larger fish and other shops always have smaller specimens. I needed fish that I could see that wouldn't disappear in my rock work. Travis and Roland have helped me stock my tank with quarantined disease free fish which is of the most importance to me. You get what you pay for here at this location. Beautiful,healthy eating fish, sometimes fish at this location are more expensive than other stores however at ALL TIMES I have had GREATER SUCCESS with no disease and the fish fall into my tank happy,healthy and eating like PIRHANA .....the fish which I have purchased from this location have seemed to grow over night and the colors are beautiful. Aquarium Customs will not sell you something that you don't need,won't be able to care for,or steer you wrong in any way,also they will answer all questions even if you are not purchasing anything from them. If you want beautiful,vibrant ,healthy fish go to AQUARIUM CUSTOMS.

Was in the area for the first time in a few years and had to make a few reef shop stops. Aquarium customs has been the best shop in the Tulsa area for years and still is. Great variety and prices and always willing to help!

You want to talk about I owe you money but what about all of the fish in coral that continue to keep dying while. Under your care. And then you want to band me for something my brother did that had nothing to do with me it’s so unreal The simple fact of the matter is every time I come in there you never have anything anyway, the shop is completely going down from when I first started coming there only how are you able to afford the help that you have is because you gave him a tank and he’s paying it off through doing work for you, it’s only how you’re able to afford him your stuff is overpriced, and always seems to feel

Roland is so knowledgeable in his trade !!! We went in about two weeks ago and he told us all about which fish we could start our new 75g tank and how to take care of it ! He didn’t hesitate on anything and was so patient with all of our questions even trying to do closing tasks. We then went out on our own and added way too many fish at once from another store and had an ammonia spike , went in to speak with him tonight, a few days after we made our mistake , and he showed us exactly what we needed to do to save our tank and didn’t make us feel bad about it like many others have!! Told us to give it about two weeks and everything should balance out and regulate. He also said not to hesitate to call if we have any questions. We will 100% be returning to speak with him when we are ready to make any changes to our tank (:

This is the best place to go for fresh and salt in Tulsa! They are incredibly knowledgeable and have a great selection of coral, fresh plants, saltwater fish, freshwater fish, and supplies. They will also help you build your own system, we couldn’t get our tank built like we have without their help! Although we have moved, we will drive 2 hours to get our aquarium needs here!

So happy we came here! Santa brought my kiddo a starter tank for Christmas. Went in hoping to leave with a new pet but left with knowledge instead! They were super patient with us, answered our questions and showed us how to get started the right way. He also showed my kiddo what fish would be good for our tank. Left with a plant and instructions and will be back next week for water sample test so we can see if the tank is ready!! Thank you for all the help!!

They moved my sons fish tanks to our new house in less than 1/4 the time it would have taken me. They diagnosed one of my fish that has been puffing up. So they saved that fish’s life. Gave me great advise to make my fish happier and healthier and overall improve my tanks. I was so terrified of upsetting my son by losing one of his fish in the move. This service is amazing. Knowledgeable but unfortunately it comes with a negative personality. As seen in many comments here, Travis/owner has a bit of an ego… myself and two others walked into the store a couple weeks ago in search of some fish and answers. As soon as we walked in, you can feel the negative energy coming from his corner. We walked around the store for about 5 mins without being greeted. When we asked Travis a question, he was very short and unwilling to dive into our questions to help.. If you are on the fence about this place, just read the responses to peoples reviews. Travis and Roland are great people that will do everything they can to take care of you. I had originally tried to get a tank started and went to another store in the Tulsa area and ended up getting screwed. I went to Travis’s shop and he gave me a deal on the supplies I needed since he had seen the same thing happen before from the same shop to bunches of other people. They are very knowledgeable guys and try to help with every question every step of the way. They have earned a lifelong customer for sure.

Most condescending people I've ever met. Called for a pleco and showed up. Refused to sell because they didn't feel comfortable with tank size. 6 inch pleco in an 150 gallon tank. When they had the thing in a 50 gallon tank packed with other fish. Won't be going here again and I advised you save your money and go to a aquatics store that know what they are doing. Gonna go to another aquatics store but I can't say the name 😂

Went in with my husband today to check around for prices so we could get our tank ready for an axolotl and we wish we found this place sooner! We didn’t expect for them to be selling live fish since we thought it was only for supplies. You can tell that they take good care of them unlike all the chain stores. If you are looking for a pet fish or for supplies support a small business like this one!

Was greeted when entering the store and was asked immediately if needed help. When we asked a question and needed help we were promptly helped and was provided knowledgeable information on select corals. Overall the store was very well organized and the selection of livestock and layout was great. We will definitely be visiting and purchasing livestock from this local business again soon.

I don’t live in town and they won’t tell you their prices over the phone. It would be very helpful because it really sucks to go to a store a couple days later and see that they’re selling the same thing for half the price. I am relatively new to the hobby and have no sense whether or not I am getting ripped off so I always tried to see what other places were selling the product for before buying.Edit: I did not verbally berate anybody. I called, was told that you don't disclose prices over the phone, said "Seriously?", received a "yup" and hung up. It was a 16 second phone call, there isn't much that could have been said. There was no explanation or anything afterwards, and you came off very rude and short on the phone which is why I thought I would make a review.I have seen this excuse of you accusing people of verbally berating and cussing out you/your employees a couple of times. I went to this store in person one time for water, and everything went fine so there was no reason to react in any such manner nor is there at this point but I will not be accused of such. I'm not sure if you are making these accusations with someone else in mind or not but I am certain that I never acted in this way.

Great LFS my favorite in fact for all my saltwater needs, friendly knowledgeable staff and any fish you want they can eventually get in. But the small freshwater section leaves much to be desired in terms of fish availability so if thats your desire you will have to order it in or check somewhere else. Yes some things are a little pricey compared to ordering it online especially the drygoods but thats the price you have to pay to get things locally.

Stopped in to pick up some AI Hydra 32s for my tank. I was disappointed to find out the price of the lights had increased 10% four days earlier. They had a decent selection of livestock available and the staff appeared knowledgeable. First impressions of their corals are they tend to be a little pricier than other stores in the area but the frags also seem to be a little more established and larger in size. Overall I was satisfied and will be adding this as one of my preferred aquarium supply sources.

If you live in Tulsa or the surrounding area, this is the aquarium store for you. Great selection of freshwater plants. What was impressive was the clean and beautiful selection of high quality saltwater corals/fish/foods and equipment, all at great prices. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly.
