What a beautiful structure! Two levels of books galore. It was almost a little overwhelming. A lot of books were still in boxes, so I struggled a bit. The kids' corner is cute and comfy for little ones to sit and read. Great pricing as well!

This is my favorite place to spend money in Zanesville. The owners are very helpful and sweet. They always recognize my daughter and I when we visit, even if its been a couple months. We have found some of the most interesting books here, and also several from series that I read in my youth that I have been unable to find elsewhere. Books are priced very reasonably.

The couple there were incredibly sweet and their dog was so sweet also. The shelves are nicely ordered to fiction and such. The nonfiction up on the second floor is magnificent. I got lots of my WWII books from here and I'm absolutely glad about the condition the books were in. I absolutely love it and come whenever I can!

Perfect cozy bookstore. The owners here spend most of their time at the shop so you can tell the books are have care and thought put into their selection. One of the owner's also does folded books! A marvelous piece of bookshelf art for lovers of reading, paper, and the printed word.

They have a large selection of Reasonably priced books. If you love books go check them out. You won't be sorry you did. Slack's is my favorite place to go for books! Plus the view of the river is worth the trip alone. So get down there and get some books!

Oh my gosh, I'm absolutely delighted with this place! Another wonderful used bookstore in Zanesville and I've just learned about it, recently. Plenty of space to roam. Two floors of space. No elevator, so be prepared for that. Fiction on first floor, non-f on second.Plenty of seating that encourages taking your time and really looking into all the selections. Coffee for sale ( Keurig - make your own, nominal cost) to sip on as you browse. The owners are lovely, knowledgeable, and open to chat, in order to assist you in finding exactly what you are looking for.Update: Stopped by today and left with a box filled with my hubby's selection, as a birthday present. Always a joy to stop by!
