Stopped in to buy a pair of sun glasses for my husband. Stickers said they were $8.00. Paid for them an got out to my truck and gave the sun glasses to my husband and immediately I noticed the sticker was not right. So upon looking at it, I discovered that there were 3 different prices. The first sticker said the $8.00. The second sticker that was under that was marked $7.00. Then under the $7.00 sticker was the original price of $6.00 that was printed on the tag. So angry. Dollar General is running a scam. Start checking all your labels and sticker prices. I took pictures of my receipt and a picture of each one of the sticker prices. Sad we have to watch for scams online, but now we have to watch for scams in our own local stores. Used to love dollar general, but now not shopping there anymore. Got enough places and people in this world that are scaming, I don't need it from my local store too. So since Dollar General and Walmart are both doing this, I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. Shaking my head...so sad!!!!! So wish I could put my pictures on here!

I was in this piece of junk store yesterday and it's probably the worst store in Zanesville. Never was like that before. Couldn't get my cart around the isles, dirty floors, water and Gatorade stacked on the floor could be some health violations right there. My girlfriend was asking a question to the guy that worked there and he started to give her a attitude until I walked over. He looked like a lost puppy that got scared and peed his pants. I think he was the manager what a weak little boy. Smelled like someone took a dump some where in the store. I'm never going back there again.

Andrea saved me today when I locked my keys in my trunk! I had been on hold with AAA for ages & finally did my shopping at Dollar General. I asked if they sold a yardstick or back scratcher so I could reach through my window which was opened about 3" for the heat. Andrea used her fishing rod from her truck to unlock me. Bless you, Andrea!

Went in looking for one particular item which was out of stock like every place else. Associate was very apologetic and friendly. It's no one's fault that lysol wipes can't be manufactured fast enough with the pandemic!

Okay if you're in a pinch... products are low quality, some name brand items. Friendly staff which is commendable considering they seem to be short handed frequently. At times have stood at register several minutes before cashier arrived. Always excessive trash in parking lot.

Friendly employees. Found everything I was looking for, fairly easy. The only issue I had was with the carts, most were damaged. Other than the carts, great store.

This DG has everything! If you can't find it just ask. The Assistant manager found an item on the back of a shelf behind other products for me because she said "I know we have 2 of them, I saw them myself". Thank you!

Only ran in for one item and I knew the general location since it seems like all Dollar General stores have about the same layout. 3 minutes in and out is awesome but I've stopped there before and they have weird hours or closed early that day.

Dollar general it's always going to be your neighborhood store because you can go in there and grab a few items and Payless got my parents always say I'm always going to pay less cuz I refuse to pay more.. don't get me wrong if I leave something right then and there and it's a Dollar general of course I'm going to go there compared to Walmart or other big-name stores because based on convenience and is literally right next door. So shop at your neighborhood Dollar general show some support

Slow service ..Associate never at checkout counter last three visits.Same remark every time about slow Credit Card Machine which Has been like this as stated last three visits which is around 6 weeks.Corrections needed!
