What is there to say? An excellent local nursery and garden center. The selection is fantastic, with popular choices and a few interesting and unusual specimens.The houseplants are great, and the employees are unusually friendly (!) and knowledgeable. I give them a lot of credit.It's possible to be out on a waiting/call list if you need something in particular.They stock plants aplenty, pots (and nice ones), bird seed, fertilizer, outdoor trees and shrubs, et cetera, et cetera.Prices are a little high, but that's honestly to be expected as a trade-off on the quality and shopping more local. I'll try to support local first.Sometimes I just go to walk around with my baby and let him enjoy the verdant surroundings. Go treat yourself to a stroll, and don't be afraid to ask questions. You might just come home with something nice at Petitti.

I wanted to take a moment to compliment the store that is in Youngstown.The facility is beautiful and run so meticulously.The sales associate Lisa is always friendly and greets the customers as they enter into the store. This customer service is important to me and always encouraging. Which makes me glad I chose Petitti’s for my plant projects. Diana Davis does a great job as to run this store and for myself very grateful.

Have to edit my review to 5 stars. The last two years, I have gotten the best hanging baskets from Petitti's. I plan on re-landscaping the front of my house and will definitely look to them as I compare a couple of nurseries. They have a broad selection and some very unique plants/flowers. Although a bit pricey on some things like their quarts ($7.50 for an ordinary geranium is pushing it. I'd be on board for about $4.50), most everything is worth it bc of the health and heartiness of their plants. Lastly, if you wanna spend a nice afternoon with your Mom, take here. Mom's love this place like. Its like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory but for flowers and such. My tradition for Mom, every year, is to get her two hanging baskets for Mothers Day and take her out to shop for her plethora of patio plants. She's so proud that they are from Petitti's. "They're the best you know," she tells everyone. Lol.

Love how they categorize the plants for you, and styles for your garden or anything you want. Love the quality of plants and the staff are friendly and helpful. So glad I found this gem, all the plants I have purchased from here are thriving.**update**Every time I visit, the service goes above and beyond. The indoor plants change pretty quickly, so if you see something you like I reccomend grabbing it before it is gone. All my plants purchased from here are still thriving!

I usually buy my houseplants from here but last time I was there I bought some vegetable plants, and I am greatly disappointed. When I got home after purchasing I found my lettuce plant full of knats and none of the lettuce was even rooted into the pot. Then after 2 days my basil plant died. I am truly disappointed in how these plants seemed to be. May not buy here again.

Bought a Nantha Bellum Palm and a oblong steel pot for it and paid around $19. I thought the price was fair for both items. The palm was half the price from what Lowes and Home Depot would have sold it for, and the pot is a perfect fit for my oval table. My one cat loves this plant and snacks on it from time to time. It is safe for cats.

I don't know much about growing things but this place has everything that you could need. Any time I've been in there, there's ten different kinds of every soil, plant food, pot, seed, etc that you can imagine. Way more pleasant experience than going to a hardware store for sure.

My first visit was upsetting. They have exquisite merchandise and a large selection of beautiful healthy plants. My problem was only 2 cashiers. One was supposedly for carry out assist but NOT labeled. I first went behind a service return and changed to another cashier. This was the young man and he walked away nothing said. Another cashier announced she'd help the next and everyone who was piling in from line raced to her. Again. I was left standing. They were 4 deep. No organizing to check out first in line. They were mobbed at 2 check outs. No single line to give first serve. I am disabled and after walking the BIG greenhouse I couldn't stand. Took me 1/2 hr just to check out, with 8 behind me getting served first. Prices are extremely HIGH. It's apparent they're catering to Poland, Canfield and Boardman wealthy people. I will not go back. Gilmores Greenhouse is equally as nice, not as large and prices are reasonable AND has quality plants. But I will say bathrooms were clean.

We purchased two birch stick trees for our outdoor decorations and one was defective. Our local store was out but a replacement would be brought from one of their other locations. Customer service gave me two scenarios and we picked the earliest date available. No correspondence regarding delays due to the Thanksgiving holiday and waited all day! Please don't schedule a delivery then disregard contacting the customer about delays!

Bought this beautiful Echeveria succulent from Petitti Garden Center and I'm in love with it! It was a great price and so healthy. Will be traveling from Warren to Boardman every time I need a new plant!

Visited yesterday to purchase a tree for our yard. We saw at least 10 staff members throughout our journey. We found the tree we were looking for by climbing over a few others that had fallen over. On our way out I asked an employee if the trees were on sale. I would have purchased the tree. Their flowers etc are beautiful. Their retail store is huge. Their customer service that morning was non existent. I’m unsure why.

I have purchased numerous house plants and flowers/shrubs for our yard. All my plants from here have ended up thriving. Prices might be on the higher side for some items, but I've always found that you get what you pay for and the plants here are better cared for than the big box stores (Lowes/Home Depot). Just purchased some gorgeous blue and purple hydrangeas for buy 2 get 1 free

So today I call the store and ask if they have any marigolds for sale. Their employee says yes, they are buy one get one free. So, I say " if I buy them in the little 6 packs from a flat, the plants are still buy one, get one free ? She said yes. I go there and the wife wants a hanging basket as well. I said fine, they are buy one, get one free too. Pick out two. Ge get six of the little six packs of mairgolds from the flats and two hanging baskets and make our way to the register. The girl in charge says " those hanging baskets aren't included in the sale. They're tropical. And, the sale on marigolds is only if you buy a whole flat. I said I specifically called and asked about the marigolds and there is no sign saying some of the hanging baskets are not buy one get one free. She said call corporate HQ if you're dissatisfied. I will be taking my business to the locally owned greenhouses.

I feel like a kid in a candy store when I come here. I love how the houseplants are separated by category (low light, bright light, etc) and the price and selection of their planters and pots are second to none.I’ve also had great experience with their workers. Really one of the best places for home and garden in the area!

This place has some beautiful gardening decor & plants. Very helpful & friendly staff. However, I was disappointed in the annual flat selection, & had to get some annuals in the larger pots which were $5 each. Their perrenials are very nice but I think on a whole, this nursery is too expensive for my wallet.*UPDATE* 6/27I am not a novice gardener, so when I was planting everything, I noted the root systems were very weak to almost non existent. I planted them anyway, hoping they would make it. Big mistake! I lost all of them except about 6 plants out of 2 1/2 flats & 4 pots. Then I couldn't return them. I went to Lowe's & Home Depot to replace them (at half the price) & they are thriving! So disappointed!

This place is awesome! Recently renovated, it's really a nice shop. It's really hard to get out of the parking lot some times, depending on time of day and traffic, but don't let that stop you from going. Large selections of really anything out doors related. Wish I would have gone here when I was looking for a new grill. 100% highly recommended you at least check them out when shopping for your home.

This time of the year Petitis is amazing. There Christmas displays are a feast for your eyes. So many beautiful trees and all the trimmings one can need or want. There's many different tastes displayed. It's just a matter of settling on one. Just stop by and take a walk through. I'm sure you'll find something that's right for you or a gift for someone you love as I did. Have a safe and merry Christmas. Happy New year.

Love this place!!😍 They have beautiful things to plant in your garden in the spring and summer. And many wonderful decorative items for the home and garden. Great Christmas place too! Open house was beautiful!!! Pricey but sign up for the card and get coupons.
