After a night of camping at John Bryan state park and gearing up for another 65mile day on the bike - this place was just what we needed! Hot breakfast sandwiches, fresh donuts, and all the snacks you could possibly need. We were so happy to find this place in Yellow Springs before our journey. TONS of grab and go options and the place is arranged in very aesthetically pleasing way. The staff were especially friendly and helpful and just made the start to our day that much better. I got an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and sausage and it was so good! My husband got the same thing but on an Asiago bagel. I also snagged some fresh fruit, gummy worms, and we got two mini portions of a pasta they had for later on the ride. Would definitely recommend this place to any bikepackers in need of food/fuel!

What a great market! I could not get over the variety of goods and the quality of things there! Definitely get anything that you need there. The deli counter is amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Excellent! Don't feel like cooking: grab and go items are available from standard American fare to curried tofu. The fresh produce was beautifully arranged. Want to try exotic mushrooms numerous fresh varieties were available. Over 55 living in Yellow Springs OH and want your groceries delivered for free on Friday only, just call the Yellow Springs OH Senior Center and this matter can be arranged. Sorry you must pay for your purchases. Enjoy!

The cutest little local shopping market ever! There's even a deli counter. Fresh prepared foods, fresh produce, and a friendly staff. A little pricey, but well worth shopping local. Will definitely be back when in town again.

Wonderful selection - love supporting local when I can. Neat, tidy, and a healthy array of produce! The guys who work at the deli/bakery are kind and funny. Their selection of "ready to go" for when I'm walking around town and don't want to sit down to eat is great.

I use to be ok with coming here in a pinch but the selection of groceries has gone down hill. The meat is terrible. The bacon is cheap and terrible, you can find it at Walmart for $4 and it’s marked up to $6 here. There’s no organic hardly, no grass fed meats, no decent sausage it’s all bob Evan’s with terrible ingredients. They put in a new beer display that takes up a larger portion and it’s made their meat display smaller. There’s hardly any organic veggies or fruits. It’s all conventional which I had a higher pesticide exposure. I really wish they would make a better effort in ordering organic products and getting rid of the low end quality stuff.

Best produce in any grocery store I have ever been to and generally a reasonable price. Didn't realize how good in had it with that produce until I lived somewhere where I had to use grocery chains. The produce department always has super local options too even in winter (herbs, microgreens, etc). The deli and everything else is good, especially for the size of the store but the produce section is so amazing.

Tom’s Market is absolutely the best. I am extraordinarily grateful to be able to shop at this incredibly well-stocked human-scale grocery store. I’ve shopped all the stores in the greater Dayton area, and none can match Tom’s produce, reliably fresh and varied. Yellow Springs would not be Yellow Springs without Tom’s.

I often frequent here. Have a lot of family here in yellow springs. My visit this morning was horrible. The older lady that worked the cash register at the ORGANIC station was rude and racist. Throwing my change at me and being snappy. When I asked her name she said "I DON'T KNOW". I went to the deli section and asked if the supervisor was in in which they asked was there a problem and called for the supervisor in which he wasn't in at that time. The lady at the ORGANIC station then all of a sudden changed her attitude which at that time could not even hold her head up. I will be contacting the supervisor here soon

Nice market with a good mix of specialty and everyday ingredients at fair prices. The store is stocked and clean. The fresh produce is a larger selection than you might expect, same for the meat and seafood. Everyone likes the deli and bakery counters.

I really like this little local grocery store. They do well with their limited space - seriously, they usually have whatever you need (maybe not your normal brand but enough to get you through an emergency) and they do have a great selection. It is more expensive than the big stores but they have to be because they are small and local. That being said, their sales usually bring their prices into line with the huge chains. I think their deli is great, their cheese selection is great, they make fresh paninis to order and I always enjoy seeing what their daily lunch specials are. And their doughnuts are way better than most!

I like Tom's. They have a lot of healthy options in a small, traditional setting. Being the only real grocery store in town expect to pay a slight premium, but id say its well worth it. The things they make there in the deli are fantastic, things seem to be rotated as they're stocked so everything is fresh, and youll find stuff here you wont find in a lot of stores.

Second bag of onions purchased from Tom's where most of the onions are bad. Was charged $6 for 10 sheets of sushi nori because a price wasn't yet in the system, only to come back later and find it was only $4.50.Would be nice if there were more affordable options. Check your expiration dates before purchasing.

This was my first stop in this town, planned to check it out to return later for meals and groceries. Instead got yelled at by a very rude employee for not having a mask on. I had no idea there were even places still wearing masks? I wasn't at all upset about wearing a mask but screaming and saying you need to wear a mask or leave is over the top aggressive and unnecessary! I found an awesome grocery and restaurant right outside of town instead no yelling or masks involved. The rest of my large group followed suite. Please learn from this and educate yourself on how not to treat people..

Make sure to check the lunch specials! Their lunches are fire! Todays for instance was Bourbon Chicken W/ red beans and rice. It was delicious. Also tried their meatloaf which was a home run as well! Keep up the good work!

It's a great little grocery store with many special items loo Iike local, organic items, fresh trout, lamb, Boar's Head, and specialty ice creams. The deli is excellent. The prices on some everyday items -- olive oil and almond milk, for examples -- can be slightly higher due to the store's small size, but this is worth it for the wonderful small-town experience.

If you are cash-poor and only need a gallon of milk, you'll have to add enough to your purchase to equal a minimum of $5 if you want to use your credit card. I have never before come across a store that restricted credit card use, so this was a surprise, albeit an unpleasant one. Fortunately, Tom's is just one of several groceries within 10 minutes from home. The few prices I took notice of there were higher than other grocery stores in this area. I doubt I'll ever venture in to Tom's grocery again.

During the height of the pandemic, they regulated on anti-mask douches and threw them out of their store. The selection of kombucha is second to none and their paninis are very tasty. The prices are a little taxed but their produce is excellent for the area.
