Nice selection in the store so a star for that, however I called in about a cut of meat and the guy on the phone was clueless, had no desire to help, and fairly rude. Decided to stop in one time since I drive past almost daily. Figured maybe a worker was having a rough day but got the same results. I won’t be back. With plenty meat markets in the area I’d rather pay for good friendly service.. 🙂

Had a lot of high end steaks in my life. Recently tried waygu during a work trip and it was great. You know what was better? The filet we purchased from Winsburg Meats and grilled ourselves. It was the softest, most tender and flavorful cut of meat I’ve probably ever had.I’m honestly considering making the 90 minute drive back just to buy more.

They have a wonderful variety of flavored bratwursts. If you buy 10 packages of them, you get a $10 gift card that you can use in the next transaction. My husband got summer sausage, jerky and beef sticks. All of their meats are gluten free. Clean inside. Nice, helpful staff.

The best meats!! I'm 3rd generation in my family patronizing Winesburg Meats. Their beef sticks & hams are unmatched. Each Easter they make a special Easter Kielbasa that is absolutely phenomenal!! Always sells out!! Fantastic 3rd generation owner.

Made a wrong turn driving around the area and decided to stop by - and boy was I glad we did! I have been looking for a Good Brat Butcher shop since the Sausage Shop closed down in Cleveland years ago. The brats here were amazing, and I need to plan a trip back to stock up. In addition, the owners are very personable, friendly and excellent butchers. I recommend you stop by if in the area.

Love the beef sticks and steaks. My favorite is the different flavored Italian sausages. Also everything is gluten free and my wife loves that. Owner is super friendly and helpful.

Everything I’ve had here has been delicious, but the best is definitely the beef sticks and Italian sausages, the pineapple chipotle sausage is very good! Any of the meat will not disappoint! All the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Very nice place. It's been updated and they have a larger selection of goods. There were 20 flavors of brats and multiple flavors of hot dogs and knocks. We went for the cottage ham and left with more. The family is great and friendly.

Great place to buy meat. They have all kinds of selections and options. They are also willing to go the extra mile to provide great service as well as great selections of meat. They've got a selection of items you won't find at your local grocery.

We love this place and visit every time we come in from Irwin Pa. We stock up on smoked ham chops and beef sticks. Everyone is always friendly and in a hurry to satisfy all the customers. Highly recommend and we will be back!!

Winesburg meats used to have the best bologna and wieners...always fresh and the wieners had a distinctive "snap" when I bit into them. However they recently started selling them in vacuum packages (probably not as fresh as they used to be) and that snap is gone. Flavor is less robust, too. Sad to see a once-excellent store devolve to just-average.

the owner is great. very personable and he knows meat! they make wonderful champion summer sausage. ...the best. I live in utah...so when I go there...I load up on them and carry home in my suit case. also...Troyers carry it and will ship to me in the winter. LOVE HIS PRODUCTS!

I am astounded at uncleanliness of this business! After asking for something in the meat case, I was shocked to see a worker come from the back (after touching who knows what) and reach her gloveless hand in to grab the meat! Shamelessly! I cannot understand why the 3+ employees standing around allowed this to happen as well, that communicates to me that it must be something they allow. How gross and sad! Never again! EDIT TO ADD: how creepy that I was stalked on facebook after a negative review. Clearly I’m not vegan, as I bought meat. Yet another reason you’ll never have my business, how foul.

Stopped in and wanted 5 filet mignon’s, I didn’t check the meat in the package before I paid which i should have, when I got home there were eight pieces of meat and no nice round cut fillet, was very disappointed, not a great place to get your steak

While touring Amish Country a friend insisted we stop at Winesburg Meats, and I'm so glad we did. The freshest product imaginable and quality that can't be beat. I've now saved this location in my GPS and Phone so we can visit again.

We stopped at this butcher shop in September and bought some garlic knotwurst. This was some of the best knotwurst I have ever eaten, including Germany. Wow! Whenever I return to Holmes County Ohio, I will be stopping by to buy some meats. 😀

So many great things about this place but two that stand out are their hot dogs which are in their own class and the Marion's Blend seasoning which is great on most anything but I use mostly as kind of a dry rub for steaks.

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years.Taras and his team have the best hot dogs and beef sticks I have ever found.When planning a cookout or travels Winesburg meats is our first stop.When traveling to see friends and family ,we are expected to bring the famous cheese weiners and honey beef sticks.Everyone is always friendly and polite and even when they are extremely busy get us in and out quickly.Excellent Management and Staff.
