Web site states 1 to 2 covid test results. Based on this information booked a trip to Puerto Rico. At airport on 14 May with no results. Called CVS after we arrived in Miami and was informed it usually takes 1 to 2 days for results and they have no way to follow up nor communicate with the Lab. Was told by representative that results should be in later so we proceeded with the flight to Puerto Rico. After we landed we completes the required paperwork required by Puerto Rico. There government offered an extra 48 hour if you could prove that you had the test test prior to arrival or pay a cost for another 2 day test for a cost. We again called Cvs and informed them of the situation that we did not receive our covid results and that we would have to Quarantine and pay a $300 fine if we did not get the results. Again, we were informed that the normal time was 1 to 2 days and the result should be in MyChart. Called Cvs again on the 16 May and got the same. I'm sorry for your inconvenience here is a number you can call. Called the number and was told, again, they has no way to contact the lab nor get test results and kept apologizing stating how sorry they were and someone would call back. After a couple hours my wife got her results and she completed the Puerto Rico Declaration paperwork and not charged $300. After a few more hours I received in my chart notification, test not performed. Cvs Called and I was notified that my test sample was lost and they were sorry for the inconvenience. I asked you was going to pay the $300 and was given yet another number to call and to speak with billing. I called the number and office was closed. CVS takes no responsibility in this matter but has no problem charging for there services. Customer care is is based on a scripted line 'I'm sorry and passing the problem to another telephone number.
