Barktown grooming is awesome. I’ve Ben taking our dog Ace since they opened last year. The girls are great and really makes Ace experience each visit special. Ace gets excited every time we pull up so I know he’s happy too!! 🐶

I took my soft coated wheaten terrier and mini golden doodle today for their first groom at Barktown and after an incredible experience we have definitely found our new groomers! Not only were they exceptional with my babies, but they also gave them the best haircut ever! I honestly wish I had known tried them sooner. Thanks again Barktown, see you in 6 weeks!

I’ve had my sweet senior girl to Barktown Willoughby several times for grooming. She’s normally a nervous nelly but she doesn’t mind going here. She’s always beautifully groomed.

Look who is happy about her new haircut! Took Lyla to Barktown for the first time yesterday and I am blown away by how well they did! Hair all did, nails all did and looking spectacular if I don't say so myself!Dannie her groomer and grooming assistant Payton were great with Lyla. She looked perfect and smelled delicious lol.Outside of the demonstrated excellent skills the whole vibe of Barktown was cool, it was welcoming and obviously put together by someone who feels dogs.I guess that's a long way of saying, "Great place, Great staff, highly recommend!"

What a nice little place! It's also adorable to see the dogs get groomed from the street!I came in here for national dog day to get my dog a treat! The guy at the front was very welcoming and friendly. The house decor was just too cute to pass up! I think the most interesting part were the treats. They have a lot of natural treats and the donuts up front for the pooches made me laugh that I had to spoil my dog and get her one. I couldn't choose from all the different colors they had so I let the guy who works there decide!I would recommend this place to any dog lover and yes....YOUR DOG CAN COME INSIDE WITH YOU TO SHOP 😊Below is everything I purchased and spent $41. Thats a big size bag of gullets too for my 50 pound dog to chew on! Will last her a good while giving it to her as a treat couple times a week....the donut lasted for a few minutes. She enjoyed licking the yogurt off the top first

Wow!!!! My goldendoodle Harry just got his first groom at Barktown and I have nothing but good things to say about everything! The drop-off and pickup was a breeze, the staff were very pleasant and they did a fantastic job with my scraggly pooch! We will definitely return!!😊

First time customer and I will definitely be back. Appointments are very easy to schedule and Barktown does a great job of communicating. The first groom for my golden retriever went great, he looks so good! Staff was super nice and friendly and prices were very reasonable compared to other groomers I've tried.

I would just like to point out the petty people commenting bad reviews because they blew a situation out of proportion and didn't get their way. To accuse people of not caring for animals is a huge accusation. I have witnessed myself the care that goes into grooming these animals! As well as how much the groomers care for them. Animal nails unfortunately get cut sometimes. It's not the end of the world. These people are trying to hurt the reputation of these groomers who are good people who care about the animals! Young girls! They really shouldn't be spending so much time, putting so much effort into trying to hurt others. Your dog is fine. Nails get cut. You obviously don't know enough about the process. No groomer would let an animal leave if it was bleeding all over the place. Mistakes and accidents happen. This is a great grooming place! My Roxie loves it! The comfort and care that goes into taking care of these animals is over the top. I can't sit her and watch hateful people try to hurt others and make false accusations. The bad review they posted was very condescending as well. Read it for yourself and you will see what I mean! They even talked to the owner who came to an understanding with them and they are still leaving bad reviews.I know these groomers lives is caring for dogs! I trust them! Take your dogs and experience for yourself the love, care, and expertise that is involved in the process! To try to break people and their business down because you are full of hate is despicable. Barktown is the best town for ALL your animals needs!!

I will be returning to our old groomer after one appointment here. Please read before considering taking your furry friend to this place. I took my mini goldendoodle to get groomed here and they told me it takes about two hours. After three hours my husband reached out and they said she was ready. I went and picked her up and they said she did fine and gave her to me. I got home and her front right paw pads were soaked in blood. I had blood spots all over my home. After speaking to my husband, he called our vet and they said to take her to the emergency vet since we couldn’t tell exactly what was wrong. I called Barktown and spoke with the head groomer who was extremely disrespectful. I never once got an apology and she kept saying “if something happened…” She never once admitted to anything. She even laughed at me SEVERAL times when I told her there was blood all over my home and she told me to send her pictures. Now don’t get me wrong, after bringing home my pup and noticing the blood, I was not overly calm but I never expected them to be so dismissive and continuously say nothing happened while she was there. Is this why they had her so much longer than planned? I did ask for a refund in which the groomer laughed and told me she would give us $10. After continuing to express my frustration, she wanted pictures of the dog’s paw (who was on the way to the emergency vet) and vet bills. At this point, she was screaming at me and hung up on me. COMES TO FIND OUT the owner of the storefront called my husband and admitted the groomer cut the nail too short and “forgot to tell me.”Here’s the thing… we all have off days but even if they “forgot” to tell me, why didn’t she tell me when I called? Due to all the blood, we didn’t know if the nail was cut too short or there was an actual cut on her foot so an emergency vet visit was needed. Thank goodness the nail ended up being the issue and the emergency vet got our girl fixed up quickly. All of this could have been avoided had the groomer just been honest when I called instead of denying that anything happened in their care.

Brought Maggie here for her first grooming after rescue. She was a Maltese who looked like an old shaggy rug. They took good care of us and gave Maggie a great treatment. They were friendly and professional and we will definitely be going back.

Did not do a great job trimming, especially since they are more expensive. They leave them longer. Both times I have used them I needed to finish the job. Not as good as the previous groomer.

This is such a cute little shop with amazing gifts for dogs and dog lovers. I purchased some Christmas gifts for family members and I will come back for more items in the future!
