Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. This is one of the few places in the city to get live feeder mice and rats. Very reasonable prices considering the care and knowledge that is needed to maintain a store like this. I've been a customer for about 15 years now. I remember Terry, the owner, coming to my school and teaching about reptiles and amphibians. He works with breeding programs at zoos, too. Good people here. I plan on getting my kids a couple turtles from here soon.

It was recommended that we come here for a tank for my ball python. That was fine.. However, I'm concerned for the animals. The snakes are not kept properly (they don't have the proper substrate or lighting.) The bearded dragons don't have proper lighting either. The snakes also have mites in their scales, not some but tons - this is extremely unpleasant for them.I've not been back since and don't recommend supporting the business of someone who doesn't care for the animals they have.

They have some great animals. Probably one of the only places in Ohio or that I know about that breeds their own snakes in a well established responsible manner. Snakes online like on morph market would be around 4 or 5 times the price. The gentlemen working was super knowledgeable and I learned a lot! Will 100% be purchasing my future snakes and leopard geckos here with their rare morphs, if they don’t hav the morph you want just wait a month or 2 and they will have a new group of babies ready!

If you are interested in purchasing a reptile, I highly recommend this store! My family and I went on a Sunday because we were interested in buying a bearded dragon. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. We returned Wednesday and bought our bearded dragon. We couldn't be happier!

Terry is super knowledgeable about his reptiles. He is evolved in community education and giving back. His new location is perfect for him and a great addition for Genoa Township. If you need food, housing for your reptiles or just want to come and chat with him about the care of snakes, turtles, spiders and even scorpions, he is cool. I always feel welcomed.

This place is disgusting. None of their bearded dragons or others had UVB lights, and when I mentioned it the worker (who looked like a 15 year old boy) tried telling me that they don’t need them. I sure hope they aren’t telling potential buyers that! That’s how they get MBD… They require it to absorb calcium and produce vitamin D. Clearly these people lack basic knowledge and husbandry for their animals.. yet they somehow educate others? They also didn’t have the right basking platforms, and had one thing in their tank. They had a large adult beardie in maybe a 20 gallon tank, and it was the owners. He had nothing to do, no hide, it was just sad. As a bearded dragon owner this broke my heart. Everything else looked dirty. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Wish I could give terry 10 stars, I can’t imagine anyone not being over the top with this owner, his store is our place from now on and won’t go anywhere else, he has been so helpful and to say nice is an understatement, wealth of knowledge and loves to share it.

Look this isn’t the fanciest place in the world but if you want a reptile chances are they have it. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. We picked up this sweet little Gecko for a great price, couldn’t be happier with our new guy!

The staff were kind, to me, however their feeder rats are not well cared for at all (see attached pictures). Snakes should not be fed animals that are coated in their own urine and feces and ill.

Got a beautiful little female corn snake about 4 or 5 months ago. She had just shed, was bright and alert and in a very clean terrarium. She eats very well and has grown. The owner is very knowledgeable about the reptiles and the other animals he keeps. I would go there again!!

The cages were not clean, tons of poop and dead crickets. There was a dead tortoise in one of the cages.All of the animals were very skinny and they had some feeder mice there, and they were all sick too.

One of the only actual reptiles stores in the city and they never have what you need. It sucks. They go days and weeks without feeders......how are they even feeding the snakes that they sell? No clue. If you call and they don't have feeders they always say "we'll have some tomorrow" and STILL GO DAYS WITHOUT. Having to drive all the way to the west side to feed my animals is the worst convenience when I live around the corner from this place. Extremely disappointing.

Disappointed- some of the reviews make this store look promising, but I will never return.Upon entering the store, you get smacked in the face with the smell of feces and mildew. The cages are definitely unkempt and not even remotely meeting ideal conditions for these reptiles. Some of the glass was so dirty that I couldn't even see the animal inside of the enclosure. I would say about 85% of the animals are either sick/dying/listed as not for sale; the only available animals are the ones that you could purchase at a big chain store, and sadly those will be in better living conditions than the ones in this shop.

Don’t even bother going in. Trust the bad reviews. Tanks were filthy , 3 adult bearded dragons in a tiny tiny tank with minimal heat. Saw a dead snake, dead baby bearded dragon and most animals seemed stressed or ill. Half the light bulbs in there were out and was barley enough light to read prices. Crickets crawling all over stressed lizards. Makes big box stores look like premium breeders. What a shame. Do not waste your time!! Trust all the other 1 star reviews.

Love this shop. Terry the owner is very informative and welcoming. Feel free to walk around and ask any questions. I've been getting my feeder mice, rats, etc for year as here, even bought a few reptiles, all healthy and very well kept. I recommend this shop if you are looking for quality and affordability. Shout out to chris as well he's one of their great employees and will always provide the best service.

Definitely a very sad and depressing place. People don't take your unwanted reptiles to this joker. He has no UVB for reptiles that is a requirement for their actual survival. Very sick animals, unfortunately they play with people's love for reptiles. You go in, feel bad and buy a sick animal in a attempt to safe it. If I could.give this place a negative zero I would. Sick stressed out animals, dirty enclosures , always dirty, feeders being left in enclosures to feed on reptiles.

I have a corn snake and fat tailed gecko we got a lil over a year ago both are happy and healthy. I get all my feeders and bedding here. Staff is always nice.

Been going here for years Terry is awesome very knowledgeable and friendly as is his son. Always have what we are looking for! We have bought 4 snakes from him over a span of 5 years. If we ever need him to build us a light fixture for our snakes he does it on the spot no questions asked. Brenda is pretty helpful and friendly also.

I bought a baby bearded dragon here, unfortunately it had ADV, or stargazing disease, I got it home into its terrarium, where it started twitching and seizing, died within three hours of having it, asked for my money back, they offered for me to go there and get a new one, why would I want to risk getting another one from them? I just wanted my money back, so I could go somewhere else, spent a little over 100 bucks just to watch a poor creature suffer. DONT GET ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I bought my first sulcata there today!! I learned soo much about it's care and even though I asked a ton of questions Terry was more than willing to answer and even explain if needed. Will definitely be my go to place for my turtle and tortoise supplies and information.
