Staff are hard workers. They are very nice and the night crew put in their time dealing with all the people coming in. I've been there when they have 10+ people in line and the self checkout is down and they still manage to get everyone checked out in time.

They have produce and it was very nice they have it delivered twice a week they had tomatoes lettuce avocados bananas several and other items as always very friendly

I was shopping in your store on 6-8-23 and checked out at approximately 12:51 pm. The lady working the cash register was waiting on another customer when my friend and I walked up to check out. We went to the self check out and scanned all our items and placed them into the cart. I was in the process of running my card when she walked over and said how are you two doing today and spun the checkout screen around to compare it to what was in our cart. She said she was checking to see if we had gotten the sales prices on our items because sometimes they don’t ring up. This sounded ridiculous to me. I picked up every item in my cart and compared it to what was on the screen. She knew her actions had upset me and said something about “see here, you saved a dollar today shopping with us.” I said why don’t you say what you’re really doing. She then walked away rather quickly. If you do not trust your customers enough to use your self checkout, then shut it down and take it out of the store! I found her behavior very disrespectful.

Update: April 2024 1 starThis is now the second time I was approached and told they were about to close, and I needed to hurry up (with ten minutes left before they closed). I was told they had issues with the drawers and had to count them manually. It's mind-blowing to me that this has happened twice. I've managed retail stores for ten years, and never would I ever tell a customer or would have allowed an employee to tell a customer to hurry up or leave during posted hours. If it was after close, I would have been more understanding, but I also would have already left as I was watching the time. I already only shop here when it's late and convenient. Now I won't spend another penny here, I will gladly drive to Kroger or Walmart. It's just another reason West Milton sucks.(Sep 2023 2 star) I normally am in and out pretty fast without an issue, but a few weeks ago, I stopped in after work. It was about 9:30 pm (so about 30 minutes before close). I knew this and was grabbing 3 items (it took me less than 5 minutes to grab said items). As I was walking up to the entrance, one of the employees who was out smoking said you only got 15 minutes to do your shopping, which I replied what time do you close and she said 10pm and I informed her it was only 9:30. The thing is, this wasn't a friendly reminder that they were closing soon. It was more of a "get your stuff and get out" because i can't be bothered to work tone. I didn't appreciate the attitude at all. I only shop here in a pince and definitely will avoid doing so unless I have no other choice. My advice to that employee would be to find a new job that's not in customer service as you don't seem happy and will only drive customers away.

Employees are friendly, only one cash register staffed, the other accepts credit cards only and is usually not working. Prices match what's on the shelf, but are a bit high for a Dollar General.

Best DG in the whole Miami Valley area by far and hands down. Always clean and organized when I shop there. And the ladies that work there are always nice, and friendly, and helpful.

This store is organized..:) But pretty much the same as the rest if the Dollar Generals. I always go here to buy my greeting cards. A much better price than regular grocery. Some are even 2 for $1. That makes me smile.

The Employees are always kind and helpful. Everyone does what they can during these times.. they have everything you need want and more. Little nick nacks.. little extras.. it's always fun going there because you never know what you could find.

Convenience costs! Smaller sizes, Long lines, crowded, no longer carry basic pet items such as fish food or hamster food, employees are normally standing outside smoking on breaks while there are long lines. Only go in here if I have to!

In the last 6 months i have gotten bad food products from this store i think dollar General is selling the lowest quality left over food from production plants that sell food products. First come to mind is hostee donuts are always stale . so i will give them a 2 star

Crowded, aisles are narrow and often filled with clutter. Not the most organized store. The ceiling is in need of repair from water damage. Parking lot needs repaved. Decent selection and prices are as you would expect from a Dollar General.

If one prefers standing in line, then this is the place to be. 3 total check-out registers, one which is a self-scan that you must use your DG app to operate. No one uses that useless thing so basically 2 check-outs.

Definitely be back, it was an amazing experience and it was almost over stimulating there was so much to do. I hardly slept that night it was so wonderful....oh wait, this is for the dollar store. It needs updating

For a new store it is always dirty inside and outside. Never enough registers open. I thought the new store would be better but it is turning out to be just like the old one.

It's always 100 degrees in there, the aisles are already small and they jam pack them with carts. You can't move in this place, and it's not just this one it's all locations.

Dollar General has moved down just south of the Certified Gas Station and acrossed the street from the West Milton Transfiguration Church (Catholic).Dollar General has a wide selection from cat and dog food to cosmetics and disposable diapers and toys to grass seed along with pop chips snacks and ice cream😎
