I ate there most recently Saturday and Monday! The fish meal is fantastic! Such large pieces at a reasonable price. The green beans are very good as well (especially for canned beans)I just want to give a shout out to Wapak’s staff the young people in this restaurant is some of the friendliest, helpful and patient kids I’ve seen in recent years. Good job guys you’re awesome!!

We got a 16 piece. Legs an thighs were ok. the 4 breast were extremely chewy. And got thrown out. Along with the wings. Potatoes,The baked beans were good. And Mac and cheese. We never got the slaw.Parking: One way IN an OUT. If you park to go in for your order you still have to go threw the line to get out of there.

This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered chicken BREASTS and I get everything but what I ordered. Food was hot and fresh, because I had to wait 10 mins. I got 2 thighs in a 2 piece the first time. 2 legs and a wing in the 3rd order. This time I got a thigh, a wing and a leg. I ordered a leg, and 2 breasts. It’s depressing they don’t know the difference of chicken in a chicken food chain.

Everything was fine but talk about a wait. My girl does Doordash and the amount of time it took for everything to get done was ridiculous 🙄. I hope this isn't a constant occurrence. Also heard a phone call about someone getting raw chicken. Consumers be ware.

A place that I won't be going back to. Only got chicken, no mashed potatoes or coleslaw. LIMA IS THE BEST and I'll be going to Lima from now on. Got my extra containers of coleslaw and even that was disgusting, I gave it to a neighbor and she liked it. It was like cabbage in milky mayonnaise and had sticker on bottom for Sunday. Owners were to call me and Never did. If they would I'd want all my money back.

We absolutely love this location. We are basically the same distance in either direction from all 3 locations, but this is our favorite location for sure! Heather and Ashley are so friendly, it's refreshing! We have had the most contact with Heather though and she is beyond friendly and so sweet too. We have been there several times this month and it has been wonderful. We tried the walleye last night and it certainly did not disappoint. OMG it was so delicious. I am so happy this location still has the potato salad as well. Ticks me off the Lima one does not have it anymore. Heather and Ashley have made us want to come more often. We rarely eat out just because it's not that enjoyable to us most often and the food never has us dying to go back, until now! It's not just the food that matters to us, it's the experience as well. I hope those 2 wonderful employees are getting paid what they deserve because you wouldn't want to lose them. They are seriously a big factor in us wanting to come way more often.

I normally wouldn't post a poor review on a local restaurant. But however, last night we had decided to order Lee's online & I would pick it up. I ordered 8pc meal & a box of mixed livers & gizzards. About 15 minutes after getting confirmation email that my order was being prepared I get a phone call from Lee's. The young lady said they had to drop new order so it would be another 30 minutes. I was fine with that, knowing they would be fresh & hot. So I get to the store, wait in line for 15 more minutes, not exaggerating the time. Then when I get to the window she says it will be 30 minutes to wait they have to drop some gizzards & they don't have any livers. I explained to her about them calling me saying they were dropping them 45 minutes ago. I told her I couldn't wait another 30 for the gizzards. She said well I wrote your name down & tell them who I am on my next visit & I will get a free order. She couldn't refund the $8 I paid on line with my card. So actually the next time I come in it wouldn't be free, since I've already paid for them. She seemed confused 🤔. So I'm still short $8 & no gizzards or livers. I don't think we will visit this Lee's anymore, unfortunatelyUpdate on my review.Ryan the owner replied to my review here almost immediately, called me & left a voicemail, & even text me. We finally had a chance to speak on the phone, he humbly apologized for the mistake & confusion of my previous visit to the restaurant. He's making a refund & giving me a gift card for my trouble. He seems like a good guy & trying to operate a great business. Things do happen, mistakes are made. No harm no foul, Thanks again Ryan for contacting me so quickly. We will continue to order from your establishment.

My girlfriend, and I, were very surprised. What an excellent eatery experience. Very few people, very clean inside/outside, very friendly, and staff was professional and quick. Two older ladies and a cook running the entire operation. We were given all the time in the world to order without feeling rushed. As we decided, the lady at the register continued getting orders out of the drive-thru. When we finally ordered, it was no more than 20 minutes to receive our hot, fresh food. So delicious. Everything was included. Did not have to make a second trip to get utensils or napkins. Sat down and ate, still, without being rushed. So relaxed and quaint. Out the window was a perfect view of the Auglaize river with the sun setting on the horizon. After we were done, the register lady made her rounds to our table to take away the trash and empty containers. She also re-filled our jug of tea. She was just so nice. The bathrooms were perfectly clean and stocked. Floors were clean as well. We stopped on the way out to talk to the staff and tell them about the pleasant atmosphere and really good food and to thank them. My girlfriend, and I, walked the banks of the river before we left on our way home. I'll be going back again soon. I recommend this great experience to anyone in this area, who are in the mood for chicken, to stop here. It's excellent.Parking: Open parking lot, except to the right, parking is a little tight due to the traffic circling the bldg to pick up orders at drive-thru window.Kid-friendliness: Smaller meals, high-chairs, relaxed atmosphere. Plus, after lunch/dinner, walk along the Auglaize river that flow behind building with son/daughter.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there was no step. I think the concrete, around the bldg, was even with the parking asphalt. Easily accessible once to the door and help was available for holding door open.

Since new ownership took over, this restaurant has been amazing with great quality food. The workers are always nice and hardworking. Today, I went through the drive thru to order food and the cashier was taking orders for the drive thru, up front and paying out. On top of that, she was bringing food out to cars for people and checking in the kitchen to check on orders. Her name was Heather and she is the hardest working employee I’ve ever seen in Wapakoneta in fast food! She was super amazing and sweet!! Thank you for the great experience!

I went with my fiancé and the entire team was wonderful! We want to give a special shout out to Heather because she was well above and beyond with customer service. Lees is lucky to have someone that spectacular working for their company. My fiancé even made the comment that she wished she would come work for her company. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Under "new" ownership means nothing so don't be fooled. Was pulled ahead while they made more breast for my order. I never mind waiting for fresh hot food so I pulled forward. 20 minutes later no one had come out. I'm pretty sure they forgot about me. When asking for a refund was told they couldn't because no one had a manager code to do refunds... I told them to call a manager then and get one I didn't want the food I just wanted my money back. All of this took 35 minutes between waiting patiently for my food to arguing for my money back. Went online took a picture of both the original receipt and the refund slip the time stamps were 35 minutes apart as proof I'm not just a unreasonable customer. No one has bothered to reach out to me. Great ownership.

Recently heard this Lee's was under new management. Stopped in today for some lunch with my wife. Really glad we did! Everything was great! There were 4 younger employees that were doing an amazing job! The service was very fast. The food was hot and delicious. Much better than the Lee's in Lima. We live less than 2 miles from the Lee's on North and Woodlawn, this will be the Lee's we go to from now on. Thanks for swing a great job today!!

I stopped in to pick up lunch for us. I got a 3pc meal, and also decided to bring a gallon of iced tea home as well. The staff were friendly and helpful, my order was quickly prepared, and it was correct!!Vegetarian options: They have mashed potatoes, fries, coleslaw, biscuits, baked beansParking: They have ample parking. It's easy to enter their parking lot and exit the lot.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking and, access to the building for using walkers, wheelchairs.

The Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken in Wapakoneta is great you all!! The food is way better under this new ownership!! The chicken is crispy and juicy!! Their coleslaw is awesome!! All of their food is delicious now! You have to check it out I wouldn't waste my time on here if it was bad. I love eating there now and it's right here in town for me!!

UPDATED REVIEW!I visited the Wapakoneta Lee's again in 2022 and I have to admit that it is like night and day from the time of my original review. They were open and the crew was friendly.Overall, the food was excellent and matched the quality I expect from a Lee's restaurant. Surprisingly, they actually had gizzards and chicken livers on the menu (The Lima locations don't have them anymore!). The gizzards were perfect but the livers were overcooked and dry. I'm guessing they may have been sitting around for a while since they are probably less popular - not inedible, but not very good.I'm happy to say that the new management has done a great job turning this location around and wish them a bright future!Keep up the good work!--- Original 2019 Review ---I visited the Wapakoneta Lee's twice with nobody working during during business hours. I thought the place had closed.The third time I visited, the person working was very rude, as if I was just inconveniencing him. The food was very different from what I had come to expect from the Lima Lee's, particularly the Cole Slaw, which was just a nasty green sludge. Everything was also more expensive.

I can't say enough great things about our experience at the Wapak Lee's today. I've recently had to remove dairy from my diet and going out to eat can be stressful because you don't always know how the food is prepared. The manager, Rebecca, made sure my meal was dairy free (altering the normal preparation of my chicken and even showing me ingredient lists for added spices and breading) and held my baby so I had two hands to eat. Talk about going above and beyond! Thank you, guys! ❤️Dietary restrictions: Dairy free meal: Oven roasted chicken (no butter) with honey mustard sauce, potato wedges with ketchup, and green beans. No biscuit.
