This is not our usual vet, but Waldo Animal Clinic was more affordable to spay our cat then our primary. The vet techs and doctors at this practice are so kind and welcoming. We were able to schedule our appointments without waiting for weeks and the spay procedure was very quick. I was a little worried about my cat, it was the first female cat I've had fixed on my own. But they staff was supportive. They even let me use a couple of Visa gift cards as form of payment, which was extremely helpful. I would recommend this practice.

We had our dog euthanized recently and unfortunately it was not a good experience. The Veterinarian (Dr.Nikki) was unclear about the procedure and how it would take place. Originally we were told we would have 10 minutes to say goodbye to our dog but instead they put her down almost instantly. It was just not explained well, and unclear. This made it extremely difficult on our family. Dr. Nikki overall was not caring. And unfortunately we have to live with how this all took place, it is our last memory of our dog now. The reason I gave two stars was because the Vet Techs were extremely empathetic and caring. They did an amazing job. Overall, this was a bad experience and could have been avoided with empathy and transparency.

The vet was very knowledgeable very kind understanding and well educated. It is obvious he cares about each of the animals that he cares for and he even worked with me on a payment option that I was able to make. if I could give six stars I would.

I have taken my cat here for three years. The entire staff is so kind, and you can tell they care about you and your pets. I always went feeling comfortable that they would do everything in their power to help, and at a very reasonable cost.

The best vet! Dr. Richards and his wife, and the whole team are so wonderful. You can tell they truly care about your animals and know what they are talking about. You feel more than just a customer. I don’t live in the area anymore but I will wait until I visit to take my dogs for their annual check ups that’s how much I love and trust them. I highly recommend, honest prices and honest people.

I had to have my husky put to sleep. The staff here was very kind throughout. Explaining each step in the process and giving us plenty of time to say our goodbyes. Thank you again to all the staff for your kindness.

I had been with a local family vet for years. About a year ago I said enough was enough. I started looking for a new one. We tried one other before we moved to Waldo Animal Clinic. It was the best thing we ever did. Both doctors are absolutely amazing. They are not the type that just rush in and out. They give you and your animal their full attention while you are there. Not only do they give you their own opinions but they will also inform you of your options and do whatever you want to do in the end. The staff that I have encountered has been kind and caring. I wouldn't take my animal's anywhere else now. I highly recommend this office.

I will forever be grateful for Waldo Animal Clinic. I drive over an hour to come here. I have a 12 year old bull mastiff who doesn't do well at the vet. Even has to be sedated to be examined. The staff here is amazing with him, and doesn't make me feel judged for his behavior. I've had him since a puppy, did training classes and lots of socializing. It didn't matter..he is aggressive in public, but a big ol' teddy bear at home. Waldo Animal Clinic is patient and kind with him. This place deserved all the accolades!! THANK YOU!!

Dr. Megan and the vet tech that helped us were very great with our girls, friendly, and knowledgeable. Very educational experience and our girls didn't even mind the visit. We brought our animals here in the 90's, and they were always great. They are still top notch. Definitely worth the short trip to Waldo from Marion.

In August, I had to put my dog down that I had for 15 years. They had me bring him in 1st thing in the morning. It was as good of an experience as it could have been. They were so kind and thoughtful. My Rottweiler hurt his back, and they worked with me to help him feel better. They have again been very kind and thoughtful. You can't go wrong with any of the doctors there!

The staff at Waldo animal clinic are knowledge and empathetic. I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of my pets and for setting aside the time to educate me and help me navigate the complicated decisions I need to be made. I've moved closer to a number of larger clinics - but I'll keep seeing the caregivers I trust.

We have recently started taking our cat in to this vet for the 1st time. The people here are very professional and timely. They treated our cat very well and informed us of all the processes of treatment. Our cat only had 2 shots and a preliminary exam, but she took the shots like a champ! I would definitely recommend this place.

Simple to get an appointment, good communication, and fair pricing.**Update June 2023: We have now worked with this office through the cancer diagnosis and passing of one of our dogs, an elderly cat requiring surgery, and a new puppy. Every experience has met or exceeded our expectations. I have nothing but good things to say. The vets and staff are truly wonderful through it all, from being incredibly caring and compassionate with our sick, elderly dog, to ensuring the new puppy had a positive experience through his first shots and neutering.

Brought my best boy Spock in with some problems and they were wonderful. Answered all my questions and checked in on him the next day. Staff was super friendly, kind and helpful. Definitely will be revisiting and happy to have found a small vet close to home with a kind staff!

Waldo animal clinic is the best vet we’ve ever used. They’ve been great with our cats and dog. All three of the vets and staff are AMAZING, kind and compassionate. They preformed our dogs dental cleaning/ tooth removal and were very understanding and informative when I was worried and stressed about her going under anesthesia. I would recommend them to anyone and have even turned my family members onto them. Great place!

Prices aren't too bad and vet+techs are very good at their jobs. We live in Marion and prefer to take our dog here over anywhere in town.EDIT: Our dog was attacked on Friday and Dr. Richard told us over the phone that he would stay past close to treat her. He did surgery as soon as we arrived and did a great job. Our dog is healing great and we are so thankful that Dr. Richard was so accommodating. I was worried about the bill, but when I saw it, it was much less than I would have guessed. We will never go anywhere else!!! Thank you Waldo Animal Clinic!!

My husband has been bringing his dogs here for many years and now I've been a "customer" for almost 2 years. I can't say enough about this place. We like this place so much that we now drive almost 45 minutes to bring our dogs here when we used to only live 10 minutes away! We could easily switch to a different vet closer to us. If you live in the area, I highly recommend this place! Great service always!

Visited with Dr. Nikki today. Dr. Nikki and her assistants were very pleasant and attentive to my dog Stella's needs. I hadn't been to Waldo Animal Clinic since I had a cat pass away in January 2020, but the whole staff is always awesome!! Stella loves them too!!!

Where to begin. We had our beloved dog Civic for 15 years. He had given us a run for our money over the years. Always some how sneaking out the door to run for hours until he got tired and would come home on his own free will. Well I had to take him in as he was not doing so well. And sadly he had to be put down. The decision was not an easy one. And they took such good care of him and have made a forever family from us. The staff just welcomed us with loving arms, kind hearts, and a general love for animals. Thank you all so much for everything! You made the process a little easier!
