We had the best young lady in the deli department. She cut our meat exactly how we like it. We ask for our meat shaved and nobody want to take the time to do it. She was polite, kind, and friendly. I can't remember her name though.

It's my favorite grocery store. Period. It's a little pricey sometimes but their meat is exceptional, produce is fresh and it's a small town grocery instead of a super-chain. Oh ... and the ham salad they have is the best anywhere lol! What can I say? They hit all the right buttons for me!

Huge Thank You to the lady in the bakery(I'm sorry I didn't get her name), for making my daughter's birthday cake! She did an absolutely amazing job, just going off of the colors we wanted and "something to do with mermaids." The cake turned out perfect!! Thank you for the great detail in making this!! The mermaid tail was gorgeous, as well as the rest of the cake!! Fantastic art work!!!

I was able to find items that were out of stock elsewhere. The employees were all very polite and cheerful. And, it wasn't nearly as crowded! It ought to be, since their selections of meats, especially, are more diverse than big box stores.

The owner said if you show him a UPC for a Gluten Free selection they don't have, he'll do his best to get it for you. He also dropped everything to come show us around the store. Phenomenal service!

For a small town grocery store this is a good market. They still have an actual butcher, good produce and a pretty decent alcohol selection. With the big box stores running out smaller stores; especially in small towns, I'm glad Chief's is still serving the community.

I love to shop here. They're always friendly and shelves are always full. They have a good deli and have awesome meat sales. I'm glad we have one in Van Wert so I don't have to go to Delphos anymore. And did I mention the delicious homemade cookies? The frosted sugar cookies are my favorite! Nice little home town store! 😊

Way over priced. You have to check dates as alot of their products are expired. I've bought alot of fresh fruit that looked ripe but was hard and tasteless. It's an ok place if your on that side and in a hurry but not a place I would choose to go regularly shopping.

Ordered 2 sheet cakes to celebrate a 95th birthday and 2 wedding anniversaries at church. We were very pleased and received several compliments on how beautiful the cakes looked. Great cakes!

Well this supermarket is located in North Western Ohio, a bit on the small side but large enough to carry everything you would need in terms of grocery items, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Good variety of products and produce, yet quite expensive compared to other groceries in the area. Staff has also been quite rude to me on a few occasions when I have asked for help finding something that I couldn't find. Eye roll, shoulder shrugs. Haven't been back since.

Always good produce and excellent meat dept. The deli is really nice with quite a variety of dishes. The only drawback is that some items are rather expensive compared to neighboring stores.

Very friendly staff, store is always clean and tidy, prices tend to be on the higher side, food quality is good I've only had 2 problem with sliced cheese having mold on every slice.

Cheifs was an absolute disappointment bar none. Coming from outside of town I had hoped for some courtesy and options and I was let down to say the least. The store was dirty the selections were almost nonexistent and the staff were indifferent so not a real shopping pleasure. I would never shop there again should I be in town again. In order to post a review on had to give stars butso they get one actually would have not given them any but I was asked for a review.

The store is nice and clean, but the prices are a little on the high side. They do have good deal, but you have shop during those times other wise you could be spending a lot of money in one place for grocery.

Drove into town 10 miles for ground beef on sale for 1.99 pound on sale. 2 package limit. 8 AM to 8 PM. It was 6 pm. No ground beef at sale price. Regular price. No one available in meat department to provide beef at sale price.

Stopped at the Chiefs in town tonight for some lunch meat and salad fixings. While checking out I realized I had forgotten the scallions. I muttered "oh shoot" under my breath just as the manager was walking by. He stopped, turned, and asked me what I had forgotten. When I told him what it was, he told me he would get them. Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is a good manager!!

Chief "supermarket" is a great place to pick up those couple of things you need to finish dinner or for a snack. I use the word supermarket in quotes because you will not find a large variety of particular items, such as cookies. They had oreo varieties and keebler together then two feet later Archway then about four feet after that Chips Ahoy. In between there were products that did not relate. In closing shop here for convenience not for price nor variety.
