This store is a joke employment is rude not helpful and that's if they even show up! The place is never open and there is always a handwritten note on a locked door saying their closing early. Just please close this location down your giving dollar general a bad name and don't bother trying to shop here

Store makes up its own hours every single day and they’re closed majority of the time. The two male employees are always extremely kind and helpful but the older woman is RUDE constantly. She told me I needed to get to the register and quit “browsing” when I was just trying to find an item I needed on their messy shelf so I said fine I’ll take my business elsewhere then if customers aren’t allowed to take more then half a second to find their item so she can go home and be lazy there too. It’s happened on more than one occasion and I was there at 430p each time. By far worst DG. Wouldn’t even waste your time trying bc they’ll be closed or she won’t allow you to shop for your items anyways.

The lady by the name of Sherwyn is super friendly and helpful! I frequent this location when I visit a family member and she always remembers my name. I feel bad as she seems to work a lot due to the lack of help, hence why they have to close earlier. So no fault of their own. DG really needs to pay their employees better if they want to keep good help. Also when stores like DG mass produce and ship holiday junk each month, it’s hard to keep up. DG really needs to learn how to work on their supply chain management, because clearly it is an issue and disservice for the employees and customers.

Ghetto. Arrived to the store at 255pm they had some random hand written sign that said they was closing at 3pm. Its already bad enough that a dollar store is closing at 3pm then on top of that when I arrived it wasn’t even 3 yet and the damn doors was locked.

It's currently 3:16 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. The store is closed. There's a handwritten sign on the store saying store closes at 3:00 today. They do this all the time. They are never open, they just close when they want to.

8:45 am she locking the door because they new inventory pulled in but it’s two employees and she literally not doing anything. Rushed me the whole time im shopping so she could lock the door and no more of NOTHING

The people are nice but they lack organization and leadership. They close whenever. Business hours are posted but you would see a handwritten sign stating that they’re closing two or three hours earlier than the posted hours. The store is gross inside. The prices are always higher at the register then what’s posted under the item on the shelves. The employees tell you that they’re not responsible for changing the prices when the price changes. I threatened to call corporate, then the employees begged and said please do! Lol. Just close throw the entire store away!Update: This store has really made a change for the better. They have now remodeled the store. Items are fully stocked and they try to keep the store clean. I changed my star from a 1 to a 4.

I needed to pay with cash and put the rest on my debit card. The woman at the register told me she didn’t know how to do that. I asked her to hold the items I’d be right back. I remembered Ihad my check book from another account in the car. Truly thought this will be the solution until she looks me in the face irritated because… you got it, she also doesn’t know how to do a transaction using a check. I asked is the manager or someone else here that can walk you through taking a check at register? Big surprise SHE IS THE MANAGER!!! Dollar General corporate needs to be ashamed for such lousy training. Family Dollar will be my go to now. Excellent service and trained staff.

I was told a few months before I moved back home the store was robbed. I understood the need to close . However, the store has no set hours. They open when they feel like it close by 3 and 4 pm and randomly in the middle. I went to grab charcoal this summer and the doors were locked at 12:45. They let me in but asked me to make it quick because they needed to close the store.There have been numerous occasions I've come home after work between 2:30 and 4:30 and the store is closed. Many other neighbors agree their inconsistency is exhausting. When they are open the store is dirty and the shelves aren't stocked.Today was the last straw. I took my little sister to school and decided to grab some detergent. I got there at 8:00 - 8:01 am and the doors were locked. A woman comes to the door and looks at her watch. She says "We open at 8." Mind you, it is 8. I said "8?" She said yes 8. I got in my car and my phone read 8:02. I'm not waiting on a dollar store chain to decide when they want my money. I am paying for a service. Someone please take this store out of it's misery.

Manager Loius has a bad disposition. I will never work for that dollar tree ever.The employees however that work frieght do an awesome job to keep the store looking great!!. The store needs a friendly, more compassionate person to be head manager. Thats why they have a big turnover.

That store was horrible at 1 point! I was asked to work there and choose not too because it was so disorganized it seemed it would be overwhelming. It has came along way so the employees that work there now great job keep up the hard work!!

Who owns this horrible store? I'm guessing someone with the same work ethic as the AWFUL employees they hire. Several times I have been there and the doors are locked, lights on, during the hours of operation. And literally just now, I was there with two other customers and we couldn't find the cashier. Whole store open, and no employees to be found. Then when she did pop up out of nowhere she had an attitude with us for being concerned about there not being an employee, we were about to call the police because we didnt know what happened. Something is up at that store, stay away. The owners should be embarrassed!!!!!

Honestly the most disorganized store I've ever seen in my life. There were boxes of product all over the floor and the types of isles were all over the place. For example, one would think that all the household products would be relatively close to each other, but the kitchen items were all the way across the store compared to the bathroom products. It took me about 20 minutes to find everything I needed, which wasn't that much when it should've taken me at least half that time.I used to work in the grocery business and my boss would've had a heart attack if his store ever looked like that.The service was also pretty unfriendly. Didn't ask if I needed any help when I walked through the door or say anything to me while I was checking out. Didn't even crack a single smile. They were also playing on their phone when I walked in. Very disappointed with this place.

Went into this place yesterday bought some items and had to go back into to return some ginger i did not need. The store manager was real rude. She acted liked she did not want to return my money back. So what she did when i returned the ginger ale she threw them in the garbage can how stupid can that store manger be.

What is wrong with the management of this store? Could not believe the mess in here when I went there. I mean things strung out everywhere. You would have thought that the sidewalk sale was indoors. When I brought in items from the sidewalk sale to purchase, they did not know the prices, and wanted to charge me regular price. So....I told them, 'That would be regular price. ' And they said, ' Well we don't have a UPC on those. ' So I was like, 'So if they came from the sidewalk sale, why don't you either go get one or charge me 1/2 the price? ' I did retail only 1 year and knew that much. This store needs to either train or hire better. Was excited because this location is so convenient from the school that I work at, but the service is not good here. I gave you 3 stars because I got a great deal on Twinsburg tshirts at your sidewalk sale earlier this Spring.

While I was in the other day, cashing out, the cashier was on FaceTime talking with one of her friends the entire time myself and a couple others checked out. Even made a comment to her friend that she’s lucky she’s not working today. Super rude.

I love it, but eh.. they can't keep this place consistently staffed. I have a hard time finding the things I came for. The place is usually super junky. But! The deals are unmatched. Pair their coupons with clipped paper coupons and you're winning!

Specifically drove past 2 dollar generals to go to this one because it has always been the cleanest one. Pull up 23 minutes until close to the doors locked, no sign in the door saying they were closed, and no one answering the phones. Very disappointing for a store that seems to have a lot of problems in the community.

This store is very messy the isles unpassible. I am glad that we have a dollar store in this community and I don’t want them to leave . Maybe they need to fine a larger building in Twinsburg so to have more room to put the products. Please clean this place up.

I was there before my nail appointment but a sign on the door said they were closed until 1:30! So many people came and walked away. When I finally got inside most of what I wanted was empty. It was terrible!

I tried to purchase groceries for my family and I The credit card reader on the open register was not reading my card I asked the lady if she could void order and ring up on another register at which point she told me it’s not gonna matter All the machines are the same if it doesn’t work here it won’t work and the other register if you really want your stuff go next-door and get money out of the ATM if that was an option I would’ve paid cash for my order I was trying to use my credit card total ignorance and disrespect to customers I would’ve expected a lot more politeness and Ambition To try to resolve the issue out of a manager

This has got to be the worst store in the chain. Everytime I'm in the shelves are half full and product carts are in every aisle..literally!!. Go to northfield DG and see how I good place is managed..wow...
