I wish Kroger was still there but it's ok, I've had unopened cheese with mold on it! I've got bacon tastes sour, and was going to buy salad but it looked soggy, thought twice about it. Kroger was never like that! Born and raised south end of Springfield Ohio. The grocery store is trying but it's needing some management with strong leadership. Stop worrying about bottom line and think would you but ok eating this? Then don't sell it if you're answer is no!

Had what we needed, at the deli---the chicken was great, but the baked beans and potatoe salad needs some work !!!!!

It’s nice to have a grocery on the south side again. The store is extremely clean and the employees are super friendly. Their meat is way better than Kroger and they have a great selection of food. The only downside is their prices, which tend to be higher than other grocers. It’s the price you pay for convenience. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!

Great store.. i always visit it when I meet my mother in law.. produce always fresh.. obviously catfish is awesome bcuz theres always a line for it.. fresh salads.. chicken was delicious..Bologna (kahns was only 2.99 a pd.. they have my business

My experience at Groceryland was marred by an unpleasant encounter with the store manager. Despite arriving to assist a friend involved in a car accident, the manager accused me of being the perpetrator, subjecting me to accusatory questions and a Hollywood-style diatribe. Inside, the manager continued to interrogate me, even threatening police involvement with supposed video footage. This behavior was disrespectful, unprofessional, and not befitting of a customer service role. I recommend a reevaluation of the manager's suitability for such a position. Additionally, the lack of assistance in providing the owner's contact information was disappointing.

I unpacked my groceries on the belt and because the lady in front of me paid with coins I was asked to pack it all up and move to another line. When I got to the other line I just put my shopping basket on the line and before I could even start unloading the cashier said “you need to empty your basket” and before I could finish doing that I was told by the same cashier “you need to put the basket back over by the door” Seriously? Will never spend a dime in there again and it’s a block from my house.

I was welcomed by services and assistance. Have about 80% of all expected grocery needs. Name brands.I will shop again whenever I'm in the neighborhood. This place replaced Krogers Foods closing, I understood.

The staff is amazing. All the younger boys that work there are all so helpful, best workers I've ever experienced at a grocery store. The manager went out of her way to help me out because my card was acting up. Yes, some items are a little bit higher, but the experience alone makes up for it. Highly recommended!!

This was my first time visiting Groceryland and I traveled about an hour from Columbus because they carried a specific brand of product i could not seem to find anywhere else in Ohio. I'll be honest when you first pull up you think to yourself this place does not look that special but once I went inside the staff definitely changed my opinion of the place.I was immediately greeted by at least 3 employees and they were all very upbeat and really seemed to enjoy there jobs. I walked through the entire store and they had a very variety and selection of items, the prices are not quite as competitive as say kroger or Walmart but they are also not a huge chain store either.They had plenty of pre-made take out food as well from fried chicken to seafood salad which all looked amazing.I wish this store was located closer to my home as I would certainly shop her regularly. Great experience and will return!

Sooo I read some of these reviews and shame on YALL , the south finally has something nice, mostly black employees and people find something they don't like in everything it's LIFE. But c'mon their prices are Fantastic, they have the cheapest meat I can find compared to Walmart and Kroger. It's right down the St from my house and the employees are ALWAYS friendly. I wish people of Springfield had gratitude. We don't get much on the Southside and they've done plenty of advertising. Just be grateful and show love !!!

super friendly workers and a great selection for a small store. i’m vegan so the fruits and vegetables are great and they had decent options for meat alternatives, though i hope they introduce some different plant based milk, or cheese. but for now, it’s great considering we had no other store until now!

Very clean store. The meats are of particularly good quality and price. Less fat then Kroger. The specials are numerous and quite good. Very competitive. We need to patronize this store. It is very convenient to shop here.

Arrived at 8:50pm to grab a couple items. Was greeted to doors locked. An employee then unlocks the door to let a customer out. I ask if they are closing early and he says “yup.” I have no idea why a new business would turn away someone 10 minutes before their actual closing time. I wanted to support a local business but I guess I’ll go to Kroger

Went in just to look and ended up leaving with $65 worth of goods. The hot deli food is delicious, a lot better than other grocery stores and the selection is pretty good for the size of the place. The staff is friendly and efficient

It's new and I'll give it 2 stars for cleanliness and friendliness of employees. However, prices are literally twice as high as they are anywhere else. I feel like they are price gouging because of it's location being the only grocery on the south side (low income) of town. The city did us no favors with this store as we still go across town to get the best deals for our money. Ie; reg Doritos anywhere else you can get for $2.50, groceryland $5.00, also shelf price doesn't match what you're charged.

Associate named James started to try to be overly affectionate with my wife. I alerted the store and was told the matter was addressed. Now he's in full stalker mode. Got my wife's number and is asking her for nudes. Store manager named Shawn is refusing to handle his employee

The staff was nice but the food is alittle overpriced i only went there for two things so i wouldn't have to drive to walmart for two things, and ended up paying almost 9 dollars for two small onions and a small thing of cottage cheese. The produce section wasn't the best. But like i said staff was great prices are a bit high for nothing.

Super clean, cashier didn't seem like she wanted to be there, didn't respond when spoken to during check-out. Prices are a little high but they have some discounted item, just gotta be choosy.

Tonight was the first time I have been in this grocery store- I used to frequent the Kroger when it was here…. I’m very appalled that this store is owned by 2 Dr’s and the prices on everything is more expensive “on sale” then at Kroger, Walmart and even Meijer not on sale! These Dr’s should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

Closer then most grocery stores has a great selections easy for a quick run when its an emergency last minute grab on the way. has most of items i use on a daily basis for cooking and other needed necesities it is a bit pricy but not that badly. I love the conviniance of the distance i cant always run 20 minutes away to walmart or krogers specially on just a quick run im greatful we have a grocery store at all closer to home its a major help to the local ppl in this area thank you groceryland.
