My cat had previously been to this vet for vaccinations. I called them to schedule an urgent appointment because my cat was lethargic and not eating for a few days. They told me my cat had never been there before. I tried giving them my name, my husbands name, my cats name, even my home address. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and told me they weren’t taking new patients. I found my paperwork with my cats info, turns out they spelled just about all of our information incorrectly so I called them back to update them. I said I had previously called and that they had told me I hadn’t been seen there; the woman immediately said “YEAH because you HAVENT”. So I told her “actually I HAVE here’s the information but I’ll be going to another vet.” Learn to treat people with some respect, especially considering she was wrong. If you need a new vet, consider Heidt. They ran blood and urine tests to find out my cat had a UTI. They gave him subQ fluids, pain meds and antibiotics.

New client. We travel for work in our camper & it was time for my wellness check and shots. Mum & Dad are very happy with the entire experience. The fee was better than expected. Doc & techs are compassionate & relaxed. We felt no rush, even for a Saturday. (I even took the shot like a champ, and met a nice little kitty there, who walked us out!) We’re glad to know I’ll be happy if I have to sleep over, sometime. But I’m happy to be home, now. Thank you to all at Amanda Animal Hospital (Love, Tiger McLewis)

Dr Chad and his staff are very knowledgeable and kind. Fees are reasonable. I will be moving and have to drive 2.5 hours to take my dogs here, but very worth it. Dr. Bonnie Jones is joining the practice on a limited basis and she is also awesome. If you want your pets to have the best care, this is the place.

The entire staff are great. They have treated my dogs not as pets but as part of my family. From the the time I adopted my dogs till their final days I have felt confident in their treatment as well as appreciative of their caring nature in my friends final time. I couldn't recommend them more.

Very clean and professional. Staff were great with my fur baby. You can tell how much they love and care for animals. I personally thought the prices were reasonable. Very short country drive from Lima. Very happy with the experience. For reference purposes, I have a female cat. Had her fixed, vaccinated, microchiped, and nails trimmed. I highly recommend this place. Are there "cheaper" places? Perhaps, but I personally will be taking the rest of my fur squad to Amanda Animal Hospital

Got an appointment same day for my sick rat and was in and out with medicine in 20 mins. Price wasn't too bad either. Great place would recommend for any other pet owners who need medical attention for their animals.

Our cat, Harold, started failing quickly. Dr Higgins diagnosed him with heart failure and put him on a medication to see if it would help. He was very compassionate when we decided to put poor Harold to sleep because he was suffering. I have and will continue recommending anyone with a pet to him.
