I normally only get my meat at iga,But, today i came in to get some steaks & pork roast,plus other meats .I was mortified to see most of the beef was grayish and I went ahead and smelled it. T none ,ribeye, hamburger.

I like coming here. It's very clean and most of the staff is nice. They are sweet and helpful. There is one employee that seems a bit snobby. I just wish the store wada bot bigger and the prices were not as high. I'm from Vegas so I'm used to lower prices and bigger stores. All in all though, I like it.

Great small town grocery. The deli in the back also has fried chicken and Jos which we have used on a lazy day when no one wants to cook.While the prices seem a little higher, they really aren't when compared to other local grocers like Buehlers and Giant Eagle.

I recently stopped in to grab a couple items. I grew up in the town and used to come here regularly from childhood to my early 20s.Sad to see nothing in terms of its layout, checkout lanes, uncaring staff and overpriced products throughout has changed at all. Once you walk in it's like stepping back to a grocery from the 80s or 90s, and employees glare at you to leave if you browse too long.You can get everything sold here cheaper at aldis or save a lot in nearby Wadsworth. Kind of amazed this place has managed to stay open as long as it has.Only shop here if it's a last resort.

They often have sales on steaks,and will cut to order. There is always some kind of deal,and staff are always very friendly.Always like to check on the "managers specials",always find something I can use/ need.🤗 You can't beat their 8 pc chicken box with jo-jo's & slaw!

WARNING. DO NOT EAT THERE MEAT FROM THE MEAT SECTION. Every time I go to the rittman IGA there items are way over priced and the meat section is terrible. I have bought ground sausage from there about 4 times. Every time my family ended up sick. Almost all meat...at least beef and pork should have a pink color to it. There's always has a black or brownish color and that is meat that should not be sold but the sell it anyways. I will say there cooks in the back of the store are not to bad sometimes. There is one lady that can most definitely fry some chicken. But the others like the rest of the workers don't seem to care at all about the quality of the product there selling. It's nice to have a grocery store in town but in all honesty to sum up everything that I have said they can do so much better.

This is a really great, full service, small town grocery store. The people who work there are always so friendly and helpful. We order the fried chicken and jojos regularly from the deli and have never been disappointed. The weekly sales are great and the meats are hard to pass without seeing something you can't leave without. I have seen the store owner several times and even asked him to stock a specific product, which he did the next week. That is the kind of service you can not get from a big chain store.

The employees in the deli are the only good thing about the store. The food is okay, but the store is always dirty. The past several times I've been here, the coolers with frozen meals were broken down and empty. The owners and some managers are extremely rude. Unfortunately, it's the only grocery store in town.

Always a friendly, welcoming and clean environment. I don't do my big shopping there because some prices are a little on the expensive side. Deli is absolutely awesome and their fried chicken is some of the best in the area. The only thing I won't buy there is the fresh chicken. I don't feel it's good quality. But, other than that I highly recommend IGA in Rittman.

They fired my best friend for not coming in while he had covid. Don’t give them your business. Edit : There is no way to respond to your own review. But my friend came in to shop on a weekend after he was no longer testing positive for covid. Without discussing the situation with him you promptly terminated his employment the following Monday. Shame.

Good quality fresh foods. The rest is a bit pricey. Keep a look out for manager's specials because these are usually very good deals. We get the deli food quite often because of the prices.

First off the employees are very nice and bag your sensitive items separately in brown bags. They also have a very good selection in amish foods. I would also rank the fresh chicken and jojo's in my top 5, all more affordable than KFC. Overall a good experience.

I was passing through the area and stopped at this IGA to grab a few things. The store looked clean and the workers were very friendly. They had a good selection of items that I needed for a fair price. If I’m ever in the area and need some things, I’d shop there again.

It's a neighborhood small store, great deli with deep fried chicken. Very good meat department. The clerks know everyone in town so friendly. Prices are higher than most big store but it's the only game in town.

I enjoy little grocery stores like this. I however have a very hard time with the meat selections. Selected items are reduced price, bc that day is last day for sell by date. Meaning selling to get that LAST dollar, vs removing that ugly eye sore meat that makes me not want to purchase at all; due to brown meat being most of the meat selections.

Out of date products. If they aint out of date, they are bout to be! Need to update building. Maybe giant eagle needs to take it over. Put a new ownership there. Time to get with it. Its like walking back in time when you walk in the doors. Its not comfortable walking into a store where the help only acknowledges you if youve been a regular for 100 years. One thing is good and that is is that they stay organized! Keep the people that work there they've been loyal for years. Seem to have good help. Store is clean. Need public bathrooms and updated registers. With more lanes open. Gotta do something befor dollar general chase them out. I think they gotta alot of work to do to catch up to their updates. General now sells groceries.

It's okay if you want to go in there and pick up convenience stuff but if you were to do like a full week's grocery shopping to cost you twice as much as anywhere else they do have sales on the meat selection but I found it you better freezer Marine them cuz they Brown really fast

Some cashier's are judgemental on the way u pay for your food. The meat that I have bought from them is good if I cook it the same day if I wait till the next night it's already turning.
