Shout out to Bob In the Seafood department! Bob is always friendly and helpful, a true asset to Giant Eagle corporation! Giant Eagle's has a huge variety of great food inventory! They offer freshly made fried or rotisserie chicken and freshly prepared foods to enjoy in their dining area. Giant Eagle's boasts a great deli and bakery department! Store is always clean and well organized! Check out their weekly ad for great deals!

We are regular shoppers at the "big bird" and we love it. Easy to find stuff, easy to get around, sometimes they even make shopping fun. Also they always have good deals on food when everywhere else is struggling with inflation and whatnot. All in all great store highly recommend 👌 👍

Usually I am happy with my visit, but today was a disappointment.No broccoli salad, no seafood dip, no chicken oven fry. Looks like someone is asleep at the switch.

Clean restrooms, thank you. They have great hot food and deli. The bakery is all good. They also have seafood and meat cases.The fruits and vegetables, well, that is a whole different game. It is not always stocked and sometimes looks bad.It's a clean store.

I did not have a great experience at your store today I was there at 2:12 pm Went through register 10 my cashier was named. Carrie M was not pleasant, gave her my $20 coupon to take off at the register. And actually if I hadn't stopped to see if she took it off. She would have kept it because oh she says. By the way, here's your coupon. And I asked her why she didn't take it off. She said oh I forgot.

They have Vegan options and other items that are also carried by Whole Foods Market in Orange, Ohio and Akron, Ohio which are far away from Ravenna. The displays are nice. And overall it was an okay shopping experience.

Sent my partner in to pick up something for me and after purchasing and attempting to ring up her own items she was accused of not ringing up my purchase and then employees stood there and monitored her but when asked if the employee wanted to check the receipt they said no. I told her to put it all back we will never give this establishment business again as people of color. Standing right across from only her as she scanned is ignorant and disgusting in the year 2023 another customer stopped her and is filing a complaint as well. Do better giant eagle not every black person is stealing

Kind of disappointed at this location😞. I ordered my birthday.The girl who took my order made a mistake. It was fine as long as they could correct it. When picking up my cake, I checked it. It was the wrong type of frosting. So before leaving the bakery section I told the lady behind the bakery that it was supposed to be white Whipped frosting and they made it chocolate and she further stated that, that's what was written on the order. I said to the lady, "I know I didn't order that, and the lady who took my order made a mistake because I never eat chocolate cake." I don't like any type of chocolate on my cake. The lady got a really nasty attitude and asked me if I had time to stay and wait for the cake, I told her I did. She took the cake back and remade the Cassata cake that I ordered. When I finally looked at the cake, it was horribly made!! The filling was coming out, the cake was falling off, and it didn't even have the colors or the decorations that I asked for!Thanks for making me a second jacked up birthday cake!!P.s. If you don't like working with the public, then you need to find another job !!VISIT MARCH 13,2024-This is the second time that I've gotten catfish from behind the seafood counter, and it WAS NOT CATFISH!!! Catfish is never that small. The fish I was given was Talapia! The taste ,smell, and size of the fish was exactly that of TALAPIA!!I don't know who you have working in the back, but it needs to be fixed! They're either not paying attention or they are purposely putting the wrong fish in the Catfish section! It was so small I had to enlarge the picture for you to see it!A person who loves fish knows the difference!

We have been coming here for 6 plus years came in Saturday bought ham and a few sides for Easter ham was bad mushy slimmy onions had onions growing out of them just wondering do we have to look at every date not good

They have a really good selection of curry stuff which I really enjoy making as I try to eat as vegan as possible. The employees are quite nice as well and helpful with helping you find stuff. They have a really good selection of cheeses over by the produce department as well other than normal cheeses like cheddar, provolone, swiss,etc. They have many more options.

I never want to use these bathrooms again,when you sit down the whole thing moves like it's going to fall off the wall,looks like it was leaking for a while,not very sanitary, hopefully they are cleaning the rest of the building better

They had everything we were looking for. However, the cashier, the baggers and the employees near by while checking out where not at all professional. For the record, no one wants to hear about your sexual preferences while checking out at the grocery store. No customers care what or why you have pronouns. We simple want to have our order checked out, pay and leave. The sexual adventures of the Giant Eagle cashier line are no ones business, nor did we ask. Disgusting behavior from so called adults.

Great variety of products ! The employees are mostly very nice. There are just a few that act like they hate having to deal with you .Update : I shop here almost every day . The only thing that has become a problem is that they have stopped carrying a lot of the items I buy on a regular basis .I have no idea where to shop now that carries these products

I shopped at the Giant Eagle on 909 East Main Street, Ravenna, OH 44266 on 09/18/2020 to buy some products from the produce section. As I entered the section, there were tables with baked items next to the fruit and vegetable stalls. I noticed a half eaten apple sitting right on the baked products and also next to the produce. In the middle of a pandemic, it is very irresponsible of the customers and also the staff to allow such actions. I also noticed that a couple of the staff members walked past it without even noticing it. I will be happy to share the picture of it for further investigation. I always preferred Giant Eagle but will strongly reconsider shopping at Giant Eagle from here on. I have been noticing that the staff at 1280 OH-303, Streetsboro, OH 44241 and 909 East Main Street, Ravenna, OH 44266 are very hard to find when I need help and even if I find one, often times they are completely useless and hopeless. I shared the details of my experience with my friends and family and recommended them not to shop at Giant Eagle stores anymore.

Giant Eagle needs to quit wasting our time with the perks and try just lowering their prices. Their ridiculous sales are an insult. Like the buy 3 get two free. Who needs five 6 packs of pop unless you're having a party. Recently went to pickup a 6 pack of 16.9 oz Pepsi bottles. Their price is $6.49 each! That's ridiculous since Meijer has the same 6 pk. on sale for $3.99 and regular price is $4.89. Thanks for price gouging.

Update 10/08/23 went shopping today and things seem to be getting worse. Produced seemed to be worse today, less of it and prices are getting higher. The seafood department is almost nonexistent today, almost nothing in the fresh coolers. Besides no one was there to help you. Meat was very limited with NO better cuts. It really does appear they are considering closing this store. Canned good shelves are not getting restocked as well as frozen foods. This quickly becoming the worse Giant Eagle I have shoped at.The meat department in this store is not very good. They don't keep the meat counter stocked anymore and they don't seem to have the better cuts of meats as compared to the Streetsboro store. They also don't seem to stock the healthier food items.

I really like shopping here. The real problem is when I have to go to the customer service desk. The lady named Betsy is very rude! She is just really snappy and rolls her eyes. If this only happen once I could understand, but I've dealt with her twice now and it was the same experience. Not a smile or you're welcome, just very rude!!! Now when I go to customer service I will make sure she is not working.

Fairly easy to find what you are looking for. Sale items go fairly quickly so, if you are looking for them, they may be unavailable after the first couple of days.Just a heads up for those who try to wait to go hunting for the items that are on sale.

I like the fact that they got the five for five in the meat and stuff like that now it helps when you have a small family or it's just yourself you know that that's good for I do miss their better deals that they used to have a lot of the buy one get one on the meats even the cakes and stuff like that but for the most part it's decent there's enough parking they are only open till 11:00 p.m.

Its a great store that has plenty of name brand food and cheaper giant eagle store brand alternatives that taste just as good as the more pricey foods. The staff are very helpful and mind their business when not asked. They also decorate and have displays for holidays and other events. Sanitation and covid regulations are followed amazingly well. Can't say the same for customers but oh well, 9 out of 10 customers have a mask.
