Restrooms are always nasty dirty. Customer service usually has no one there so you have to wait for them to return from wherever they are on the floor. Their produce section is rarely stocked by 10:30am when we usually shop. On our last visit we decided we would only shop at Kroger for items we can’t find across the street at Giant Eagle. The photos below are from our most recent trip to this store.

It's a krogers, a chain of groceries. They have good prices to great prices on different items, great sales. You do need to use their loyalty card. They send you coupons on stuff you like to buy so win-win. They are know by different names across the county, same loyalty card works. I do not shop for everything there although you can find it all.

First time shopping here. Don’t think I’ll be back. Going to try giant eagle across the street. Produce shelves were empty like after a holiday run. Only 2 registers open and they staffed an elderly women who couldn’t ring out more than 1 person in 5 min. A quick trip turned into 45 min. The self check-out line was backed up 12+ deep.

They sell expired food. And remove bad reviews. I’d love to know why there isa guy using a full-on blow torch on the sales floor while the store is open?! He didn’t appear to have appropriate PPE and I sure as hell didn’t when he ignited the thing 10 feet from where I standing.

It’s a nice store, but sometimes i feel the service can be better when they have a line reaching the aisle. They opened only 4 self checkout registers out of 20, at 6:50 pm!!She was just chitchatting with her colleague not concerned about people waiting!

This Kroger location is well stocked. Friendly customer service as well. No complaints.

Shame on you Kroger! I have a 9 month old and even at the height of the shortage, this quality, alternative brand was not this expensive. Now they have it in stock and it's $50 for a large and almost $37 for a small?! I'm submitting a complaint with the AG's office. This is price gouging.

The Kroger in Powell is very clean and neat. The staff members are friendly and very helpful. Self help check out staff are always quick to jump in to help if we have problem with check out scanning. We have been shopping there for years and gladly see some friendly smiley faces who have been here for a long time.

The manager Dawn at Kroger - Powell location is very mean towards high school kids. She micro manages them and check their work over them. Trusting and appreciating your team is the key for success. I didn’t expect this from Kroger. I would not recommend Kroger to any of our families and friends.

It seems like the majority of the employees are miserable. A few are professional and friendly, but the rest are miserable and rude. It makes me very uncomfortable to shop here.

Just Kroger was very very clean the people working there were extremely nice to me. Also it was organized very nicely had everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t it also was not packed at all. Not many people were shopping here act at the moment but it was a very good experience at the grocery store and I would highly recommend you come shop here!

This is a great Kroger! The workers are always willing to help when I can't find something. Especially; Gabrielle in Produce, Blake, Jeff, the people in the Deli & Sushi dept., & Starbucks. Thanks so much for always making my shopping easier 🙂

I have never been a fan of Kroger. I would rate them as the second worse store in the area behind Target. I only buy their Private Selection ice cream and if they have grain fed steaks at a good price. I went today for ice cream andthe place is in total disarray. TheyHad corn advertised for 19 cents per ear. When I checked out it was 60 cents. I questioned an employee and was told I needed to clip a coupon from the paper for that price. Misleading as hell.

I like Judith, but this job might have past her by. Both times we made the mistake of going to her check out line, we heard her WHOLE life story, and 🙏🏽s to the Lord of the Heavens, I hope she pays off her home, and everything is ok the next time she visits the Dr.’s, but I DON’T have time to hear that EVERY visit. And I don’t mind moving the heavier items around on the belt so she can scan them. But she can be downright RUDE when she is requesting your assistance. How can she get impatient at any point, when the REAL reason for the hold up is her constant storytelling and jibber jabber ❓She should be a “greeter”. Just teach her how to say “Welcome to Kroger” from a chair in front. Because I do want her to remain employed, she just can’t do check out. On top of that, you can stand at the deli at 9 am, and even though there is no sign to indicate the hours, they will just stare at you like you’re an alien 👽.

Check your receipts. The last few times I've been there, items that were on sale did not ring up correctly.

This Kroger has become a run down mess. The checkout lines are long on weekends bc most registers are closed. Just looks messy and not organized post Covid. It’s like every other company got back to normal and they someone couldn’t. If they don’t change something, I could see this place not being around in a few years.

Went here to pickup a few things and needed to use the bathroom. Was rather disgusting. The pictures dont do it justice and the ladies room was the same. Needs attention and more frequent rounds

As with most folks, I have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly shopping experiences. I must say that Kroger at Sawmill and Powell Rd. has been very good to me. This Kroger store’s employees are consistently friendly, and they have done a commendable job of serving customers over the last two difficult years. Today, I received excellent service from the meat department, that I greatly appreciated. Thanks! Keep up the good job.

unfortunately, this Kroger branch became one of the worst shopping places. Sales ads are not completely true. You get surprised at the register. None of the advertised discount applies, My latest shopping experience there was a little bit of a hassle, especially when was helped by a rude sale person.

Expect to only be able to complete about half of your shopping list. Shelves are completely empty of even the most basic of items. At least I get a feel for what it will be like if socialism really does take hold in the US. And don't blame supply chain issues when Giant Eagle across the street is completely stocked.

This kroger has slowly been getting worse. The lady they have working the check out in the morning is always rude and says things aren't her job if you ask for help. Witnessed her be very rude to two elderly customers with questions about the self checkout. I will start going to Giant Eagle or kroger in Dublin. Very disappointing they would allowed someone so rude to be the last person you see before you leave

After reading the most recent reviews, sounds like this Kroger needs a management change. First time here and what a disappointment. I came in, after calling ahead in advance to be sure they had them available, to purchase Columbus Zoo tickets for my family. When I arrived, I was told that the person who works the service counter could not assist me as she was “busy” stocking the liquor. Obviously it would only take a moment, but apparently liquor is more important than children. Oh well. The other one down the road 2.4 miles was “able” to help us.

They keep building and building in this area when Powell can barely keep a grocery store. Our streets are a mess of potholes, worn out from overwhelming traffic. Anyway, back to this store, I have started driving to Lewis Center just for groceries because this store is always super crowded and under-stocked. I used to go at night, but they shortened their hours. So now stockers dominate the store in the evening hours. It is nearly impossible to get around them as a shopper. We really need larger facilities since the city leaders are determined to keep overdeveloping. They say that it brings revenue. Yeah right, Republicans. Then, pave Seldom Seen Road! We have an extended stay hotel now (really??) that will dump more traffic on this road. I'd like to have an extended stay somewhere with a decent grocery store. Will have to as the over-development is out of control. So, it isn't all Kroger's fault, but Kroger isn't cutting it. I even sometimes go to Giant Eagle just to avoid all the people, but their prices are a little crazy.

Truly the worse Kroger I’ve been in especially in a nice suburb, the store is old and disorganized. Plus always being out of a lot of fruits and vegetables. They need to take direction from the New Albany store. Also the Eastern European old checkout woman is rude and mean as hell if you need help.

Worst Kroger in this area. Dirty, poorly stocked, and rarely enough checkouts open, including self checkouts. Giant eagle is better. A bit more expensive but worth it to save the aggravation.

Second time in a row, and there is a long line for the self check out machines because only three of approximately 12 were open. also, couldn’t believe it because they were out of potatoes.

Avoid this location if you have other choices. I manage to plug my nose and shop here anyway due to the location but i've started going to other chains because it's so stressful trying to get a full week's groceries at this location, mostly due to understocked shelves, nearly-expired foods, understaffing, and worst of all customer service (which is a result of understaffing)

Often not very many employees, and often have only half of the self-scans working even when it is busy. Starbucks is good if you get the right barista. Eda is my personal favorite. Usually a PLENTIFUL bakery rack, but often out of stock of everyday items like gatorade, vitamin water, cheez-its, etc.
