Great food. Although we only do takeout we do have to go in and get our food. The people are so very kind, helpful and friendly. When you walk in it's almost like walking into a restaurant from the 50s only the people don't act racist. The food is spectacular. It's the closest you can get to home cooked food and that's because it's literally like being at home when you walk in. I see the price on Google said $10 to $20 per person. That's the one thing that's not true. It's cheaper than that... Two sausage gravy and biscuits home fries and order of French toast was under$17.... Two people can eat easy on $20... Don't forget to ask for the pies . Yep home made pies available daily and at least three different kinds to choose from.. by the way my husband and I drive here from out of town very frequently.....

As someone who travels throughout the country for work, I can say with confidence this is one of the best road side restaurants I've had the pleasure to dine at. The restaurant is clean, service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are very personable and friendly and will make you feel right at home. Will be stopping again next time I pass through.

In the many years that I had lived nearby I always thought about stopping into this roadside diner. I'd never heard a bad thing about it and never was there a day that I drove by that the parking lot didn't have at least a 4-5 cars.Unfortunately, we picked the first day of Ohio deer season to try this location.There is plenty of parking unless the crowd is in oversized trucks hauling trailers with side-by-sides. Inside there is plenty of seating; we got there before the late risers after that the location reached capacity very quickly.The service, as far as getting coffee, was pretty steady and never did our cups get near to empty. The service, for getting our food, was a bit long, but without looking I'd bet they only had one person in the kitchen. The value was pretty on point considering what you get. I've attached the menu so you can judge for yourselves.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall diner. Fast and friendly service. Homemade chicken and noodles was good and you get to sides for less than $10. The noodles are actually homemade not package. My sides were Mashed potatoes and home fries. I couldn't resist I had to order three eggs for my home fries. I love mixing eggs with my home fries.

This place is absolutely amazing. My boyfriend suggested it, we live 30 minutes North amd it was definitely worth the drive! You can usually tell how a fresh a restaurant's food is by how their salads are, Which is what I got. It was huge, fresh, and delicious!! The employees were amazing as well! Will definitely be returning 😋

We stopped here for breakfast during our road trip. It's a tiny place, like a mom and pop diner. I like stopping at these places because it's the closest you're gonna get to a home cooked meal on the road. We wasn't disappointed. Food was great and the people, both staff and customers were friendly. We had the mini train wreck, highly recommended. If we're in the area again and need to eat, we'll stop here.

Their food is as good as the pictures and reviews say, however service was awful. I had a pickup order, and when I got in there was no one at the counter to talk to. I walked around to try and find somebody, when finally one of the staff, who had been at a table eating, decided to come around and ask if i had an order.After sliding my card on their touch pad she reached around the keypad to enter something in.I didn’t realize until after when I saw the receipt that she had selected to add on a 15% tip that I was not asked if i wanted to add.This was my first experience with this restaurant and I do not intend to go back. Good food doesn’t excuse poor service.

The Riverside Restaurant is a little place that sits off of the road all by it's lonesome self. Nothing fancy, just down home cooking. When I got there, I wasn't sure what to expect. Like I said, the place isn't fancy but it's clean and friendly. No chaos. Anyway, I order the Train Wreck per a friend's recommendation. It is really good. What is the Train Wreck you ask?? Well...to start it has two biscuits, fried potatoes smothered with sausage gravy topped with two eggs any way you like. Over easy is the best way. The Train Wreck also comes with three strips of bacon and two sausage links. To me, this dish would great for hunters, campers and hikers from around the area and for those passing through. It's for everyone. By the way, my dish came to me hot, not cold not lukewarm...hot. Sorry I didn't post a pic, come and take a look for yourself. It's good.

Love the fries. The choice of hamburger size is a great option. Has been a lot of changes but like the regular waitresses when party isn't there 😁 but good is great. Spaghetti and fried chicken day is the best.
