Customer service from front staff is less than adequate.Edit so that I can reply to the business response. I am not a client. I was thinking about taking my dog there but after speaking with the receptionist I will not. I can see from the unprofessional response to my post and others this is a common issue among the staff.

If you’d like for your pet to be rushed in and out and treated like a number, Silvercreek is for you. I’ve been taking our pet there for years and finally had enough. During the last visit they forced her out of her carrier instead of letting her ease her way out (which prompted her to sit by my side the whole visit), brought in needles and an IV bag for her without explaining what anything was (I had to ask specifically about each item), ran blood tests and when they came back didn’t even explain what her ‘abnormalities’ were - just that they needed a urine sample (more $$$).We spoke to the vet at the visit and then after we spoke to the staff about the urine sample and never once did they say it had to be refrigerated until we went to drop it off… it was unusable. So we put our older pet through a night of stress for nothing.We immediately switched vets and within the 1st visit with our new vet our pet was properly evaluated and got an ultrasound (something Silvercreek never once offered) and we found out she has a tumor. Please don’t let the nice building and clean lobby fool you. This clinic is awful and we will never recommend to anyone.

I am never one to give a poor review for any business because i know what it can do to them, but i have been left in tears twice by Silvercreek. Which is a shame because i have always taken my animals there and so have my parents. They turned away my sick cat because my dad was 20 minutes late getting there (his doctor appt prior ran late and i work 12 hour shifts so was unable to take her). I take my pets to the vet every year and follow all of their recommendations and was in disbelief they’d turn away a sick animal over 20 minutes.In the previous year one of the vets had told me my not even 2 year old cat needed multiple teeth extracted and a cleaning. I was so upset when i was told this. When i took him in for a cleaning the other vet happened to be working that day and called me after an hour of him being there (i was tearful leaving him given the circumstances) that he in fact did not need teeth extracted and it wasn’t worth putting him under anesthesia for a cleaning because it wasn’t necessary and his teeth looked fine. There was one tooth that we should monitor. Thank goodness it was her working that day. I drove back and picked him up immediately.The only reason i gave them two stars is because Dr. Hura truly is amazing and compassionate. The vets techs are also great. Unfortunately i cannot say this about the rest of the staff and therefore i will be switching vets.

We have been taking our pets, both dogs and cats, to Silvercreek vet clinic since day one. Our fur babies have always received the very best care from the Drs, tech and all the staff there. Everything is always carefully explained to us and all options weighed. I have the upmost confidence in them. I feel like every single staff member actually cares about my pet.

The doctors are very skilled, attentive and compassionate. The staff is always pleasant. When we have an urgent need for veterinary support, they are always accessible. We were visiting family in Ky from Mi Christmas Eve when our puppy developed bloody diarrhea and vomiting. We drove 1.5 hrs past several other vets who would not see us because we were not their regular patients. Bless Dr. Hammons and her staff for taking such good care of my 1yr old Pete. Don’t know what we would have done without them.

Went there today for the first time... they gave me a free exam for my first visit and the building is very nice. The doctor and nurses were very friendly and patient with my dog, who was very shy and nervous to be at the vet. They also gave me a military discount which means a lot to me. Overall, great experience.

The vets and techs are amazing. Alway welcoming as soon as we walk through the door. And follow up the next day after every appointment.When we had to put our dog to seep last year, they made the whole process much easier.I highly recommend this office for all your animals.

I have been taking our furry family members to this veterinary practice since the original vet first opened the clinic @40 years ago! We have not trusted our pets to any other vets, which is a testimony for the faith we have in the care they will receive at Silvercreek Veterinary Clinic. I simply cannot imagine taking our pets anywhere else!

First off we love the vets Dr. Chipps and Dr. Hura. They are wonderful and treat our senior animals with such care as do the techs. We've been clients for 20 years and have had horses, cats and dogs cared for by the practice. Our only problem is with the prices. They have risen so high it is making it difficult to bring our animals there.

We are so grateful to have found Silvercreek several years ago. The doctors, technicians, and clerical staff are always kind, caring, and professional. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Chipps and Dr. Hura. Their new clinic is state of the art and beautiful, but more importantly, the warm caring personnel remain the best!

I used this veterinary clinic since it was owned by Dr. Novak. He was Great. Unfortunately the clinic now is horrifically disorganized and treatment is incompetent. If you love your pet, DO NOT take it there. They will and have killed people’s pets that I know. I could go on and on about my own experience. Terrible.
