Our daughter, me, and 3 kids had dinner before heading home. We had hamburgers, grilled cheese, shredded chicken, fries, and onion rings. Then had ice cream and Turtle sundae. The picky kids ate all. Everything was delicious! I enjoyed the sundae, lots of pecans. Granddaughter had the longest curly fry! Prices were not bad, good food!

Quaint Charm and Yummy Bites in New Washington, OH!Our recent visit to the Dutchtown DariBar in New Washington was nothing short of magical. The Dutchtown Dari Bar or "dairy queen" as we always used to call it used to be my absolute favorite place to go every spring and summer. It wasn't anything fancy or flashy, but it had what makes New Washington wonderful--great community and quality products.When I heard the business had changed ownership, I knew there would likely be changes. Finally was able to go out with my family and some friends from college who have heard all my stories about the place, and try out some of our favorites.I was grateful to see that they still use real fruit in their ice cream, which many other commercial places have stopped doing. However, the ice cream in all our flurries was not the same quality thickness/richness. It still tasted good, but was super runny and made the other toppings soggy. Never a problem I've experienced there before.The new ownership offers online ordering, regularly updated website/social media, and even a loyalty program. All great things, but it was disappointing to see the quality I've known for 25 years drop for the first time. I pray this is just a transition thing that will be resolved as the new owners figure things out. I definitely want this place to thrive!

Stopped there at the recommendation of some friends. Glad I did. Felt nostalgic as it brought back memories of my home town ice cream restaurant where I went as a kid. Good food, friendly staff and the building was being spruced up while I stopped. Love to see small town businesses doing well.

We are first timers, and with the Christmas theme, we decided to eat too much! The BBQ beef sandwich was delicious and my husband downed a coney dog. We added the fried pickles which I liked more with ketchup instead of ranch dressing. The corn bites were just wonderful, and then we topped it all off with the Gingerbread flurry. I thought I was having Christmas all over again.

They recently have changed ownership. They have updated their menu and really care about their customers needs/wants. They have great engagement with customers via Facebook with polls and questionnaires to become a better eatery. We enjoy our quick ice cream trips or a coney dog dinner

Wife & I stopped by today. We each got a large flurry & were utterly shocked when we were told $17.10. We went ahead & purchased them but will not be back. I’m so glad we didn’t have all of our grandkids. I couldn’t imagine what that bill would have been

Probably one of the most expensive places I have ever eaten I went to get ice cream with my family and ended up crossing the street for a bank loan to pay the bill. The ice cream was alright though this 5 year loan with 4% interest wasn't worth it though.

For a tiny town ice cream shop, man are their burgers good. Fresh of the grill good! You wouldn't think they had just to choose from...oh but they do! Highly recommend to give a try

We ordered flurries from here and found 6 pieces of styrofoam mixed into ONE flurry!!! Not small pieces either!!! The cup was also not broken. Usually good ice cream but they are way overpriced!!! So ticked!!!!

Was the worst place I have ever stopped at coming home from the north. Ordered 2 medium cones and the girl gave me baby cones and charged me $3.50 each. When asked to talk to the managed she came to the window and was very nasty and said that was the only size cones they had. They had 3 rows of different size cones So I asked for a glass of water and the girl at the window was nasty and said. Yeah for 50 cents. I said no thanks and she said well I guess you cant afford that and slammed the window in my face. I will NEVER stop there again and was happy to see the man behind me walk away before he got rude poor expensive service by the worker and manager

Outstanding Jalapeño Brats!! Great coney dogs. Serve Toft's ice cream in generous portions. Soft serve Hot Fudge sundaes to die for. A true chocoholic's place. Decor is early dairy bar, complete with '57 Chevy convertible painted on the side of the building.
