Ordered 130+ retaining wall block from new Philadelphia oh menards.It was all supposed to be the same color, paid 150$ for delivery. Started placing them last evening as it was getting dark because we were excited to get this project underway so worked some under my shop light. This morning came out to see they clearly delivered different colors. Kinda screwed now as they are put together with landscaping glue. The colors are close but clearly not what i ordered. Piss me off. They were wrapped when delivered, delivery person was great, staff at store was great .. whoever picked the block at the store not so great. What do i do now other than live with it and never shop there again. Update: menards corrected the issue, i am satisfied with the corrections

New Philadelphia Menards has always treated us with great customer service over the years. Sunday night around 7:00 p.m. my daughter and I waited over 30 minutes in outdoor lighting before we found someone to help us. She was talking to other employees in a different department. When she walked over she treated us with disrespect and made us feel like we were bothering her. We left without buying anything. We even put the stuff that we found without her help back on the shelf and left.

82 year old mother went there today (new philadelphia location) she was wanting to get a 50lb bag of dog food. However, she could get no assistance from Anyone.She proceeded to the check out to pay for her other items and told the clerk she wanted a 50lb bag of dog food but couldn't get any assistance. The clerk responded "yea I know, it's horrible here". WOW!!! JUST WOW!!!!

So we get a water tank it was pissing water returned it got one that was dented and a screw missing returned it got another this one is leaking . Last month we get 13 sheets of black roof go to the back the only have 3 . How much do we have to go through .I just want a shower 😔

Sells all kinds of items that you may need. However they sell some items that most probably don't know about because you can only find it on their app or website. For example they sell jewelry or sports team rugs on the app but I never knew until I was playing around on the app and just looking random things up. Overall though, I'm always greeted nicely when I go in and shop and some of the team are very helpful. Others could be a bit nicer. I understand having a bad though but it could ruin a first time customers experience.

This place stinks and you have to go all the way back to the back of the store to get a ticket for plywood to walk all the way back to the front of the store to pay for it. .Then you have to drive all the way around the store to go back and pick up the plywood to load with no help. I do not recommend this place for any type of builders or contractors.I was told by the front cashiers who are standing around doing nothing that they don't have time to scan a barcode to charge someone for wood so you can just get the ticket and drive around. Sounds like bad management for menards all the way around and complete laziness.What good business can even operate this way? If I did this I would never have customers buying from our company period.

Worst customer service ever! This is my first purchase from Menards and I think I will be taking my business back to Lowe’s after my experience. I ordered a stove at the end of February to have it shipped to the store. It was supposed to arrive at the end of March. It was getting close to that time so I checked the status and it moved to end of April now. So I contacted customer service to see what the hold up is via email because they do not have a customer service number. They told me to contact Whirlpool and gave me their direct number. I do not feel it is my job to contact your vendor when I purchased it from menards (my vendor). I also called the store the woman was very rude and wouldn’t help me told me to contact Whirlpool! At this point I am ready to cancel my order and go purchase it from Lowe’s. The attorney general will be getting a call Monday! Also, from what I can see from the bad reviews they don’t even seem to respond to those customers to try to rectify the situation! Would be a decent store if they got their customer service under control and customers got their products when promised. This is consider false advertisement to the attorney general and a call will surely be made!

Couldn't find everything we needed there today, because our request was strange. Needed a 3 prong dryer adapter to go into a standard wall outlet, bc that's how it is set up in our new house. Kyle was friendly and helpful trying to figure out what we needed to do and didn't just say oh we don't have that here and send us on our way ... lol thank you for great customer assistance 👍

This store is super clean. And the staff has always been friendly when we shop here. I come here primarily for their totes. You cannot beat the prices especially with their 11% rebates on nearly everything. They have a little bit of everything too which is cool!

This is my absolute FAVE store!! I love coming here!! They always have everything I need (and want) to buy for my house!! The prices are def cheap and worth buying!! They usually have a 11% rebate on most of their products!! We really love how they call us "Their Guests."

Everything went well during my purchase of a new washer. I had to wait a little while during the purchase process, however I fully understand that everyone is working short at the current time. The young lady that helped me load the washer was fantastic. Great shopping experience overall.

All of my life for as long as I can recall I've admired Menards from a distance. Whenever I would pull into the neighboring taco bell parking lot I would catch quick glimpses of the luminating lights radiating from within the walls of this mysterious Menards store. The presence of this colossus structure alone was enough to send shivers down my spinal cord and its beauty is comparable only to that of the Great Pyramid of Giza, it's truly the pinnacle of 21st century human architecture. With that being said it still took me years to summon the courage to step foot inside the confines of this majestic world of wonder for I feared that there was no way a place such as this could ever live up to my expectations and if it did live up to my expectations then I would be forced to ask myself if I was even worthy enough to enter it. So after years of serious consideration and preparation I finally decided to embark on my journey. I remember approaching the far right door from the parking lot for the first time as if it was yesterday because of how excited yet intimidated I was 𝒐𝒌 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓! 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈! I was instantly greeted by an angelic voice 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 the serenity of her voice matched with the lights from above was a feeling unmatched by any feeling I had felt before and from that moment on I could no longer live my life as an Atheist for this was undeniable proof that heaven could exist and to this day I still have trouble finding the words to describe how I felt in that moment so it goes without saying that I didn't reply to her warm welcome. I couldn't. For the first time in my life I was speechless. The turnstile is a welcomed edition for nostalgia floods my soul every single time I dare to walk though it, it's like entering an amusement park only it's free. What happened next is a blur because I was instantly caught in a state of trance as I spent hours walking through a maze of isles looming in each and every direction and this journey of curiosity soon became an inner battle against desire. Temptation corrupted my brain as I fought off the urge to not fill my cart with products galore 𝑰 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆 so I managed to only buy the products I knew I needed which is easier said then done when you have an imagination as severe as mine and every isle provides you with new ideas for grand DIY projects to do at home during your off time. I was puzzled once I finally made my way the checkout line for it was the most unique and unconventional checkout line I had ever laid eyes upon. It was all backwards the card reader was on the opposite end of the belt and I was instructed to leave my cart at the beginning of the belt with the cashier who then unloaded my cart for me and to my left was another employee who bagged my items and sat them into a brand new grocery cart! This is the biggest innovation to the checkout experience that I had ever witnessed and I am truly blessed to have been able to live in the era where revolutionary ideas like this come to fruition. With despair in my heart I exited the store on the opposite side from which I first entered and when I walked to my car I felt sad for I knew that I would never be able to visit Menards for the first time ever again and no life event after this one will ever compare to how I felt when I was there. I Peaked right there and I can never in my life feel as happy as I did the day of my first trip to Menards. Thank You

I just left this location, inside staff was excellent. That being said, if you intend on taking a drive through the lumber yard watch your tires. I have to pull 2 large staples with button caps out of my tires. Also steel banding and wire located randomly throughout the yard. Customer service outside was minimal at best.

It's a nice store, hard to find anything, but nice. I do not like the mail in rebate scam they run. If they cared about their customers, it would be an instant discount not a store credit. I wonder how much in rebates never gets claimed?And if you order anything not in stock they charge you shipping. Don't tell you, just charge you.

Great place for shopping reasonable prices. They was able to give us information today to help find our dog. Thank God we had his help. We was very grateful. That gentleman that work in the back where you load bigger stuff is a very good person. They are the best !

This store is clean and well-,organized. Staff are friendly and more knowledge than most I run across. They are helpful and efficient. This is a very large home improvement store with nice surprises, like a camping section (seasonal) and a great pet and wild bird section. They carry some brands that are better quality than one finds at the superstores. You pay more, but I feel you get a much better value with durable products. They also offer many products that are made in the United States along with the cheaper imports I find elsewhere.

This place has a little bit of everything. You can even grab some groceries while shopping for your projects. I'm not sure the save big money slogan always comes into play but they do offer A LOT of everyday project supplies from do it your self people to contract workers.

The manager at the building center desk deserves a special shout out for great service! We had difficulty with getting the correct retaining wall block and he went above and beyond to help us. He even came out in the yard and ran the tow motor to load our new block for us. During these difficult times and staffing shortages, his dedication to excellent customer service speaks volumes! Thank you for stepping up to the plate and proving that people can show up to work and do their job successfully!

Came to check out the new store and left with 3 carts worth of projects. Huge shout out to Josh in building materials for all his help! He had awesome tips and helped us find all the supplies we needed. I was also really impressed with how big their herbs were. Only complaint was that they had a ton of plants only labeled as "tropical foliage" with no name or care information.

Bought Amana washer Model NTW4516FW3 18 months ago. Around 16-17 months it started having issues then completely quit working. Service finally came and wanted $500 to fix which is ridiculous since it is practically new. I will never buy another appliance from Menards again. Taking all my business back to Lowes. This is totally unaccceptable

This place ruined my weekend. Long story short. They stole a $1000 from me. I drive 60 miles to find out the wire they said was in stock wasn't. Paid for it went to pick it up they didn't have it they told me it would take several days to get my money back on my atm card. I got a sorry but what good is that when they took the money for the wire and now I can't even buy it somewhere else to do the job. Thanks you bunch of A-holes for screwing me! Well never ever be back even if your the only place on earth that sells air to breath.

This was my first visit to this location and we were impressed with the overall cleanliness and selection of the store. The aisles are wide and it is very well stocked. There may have been a lot of people shopping but the store is large and can handle as many shoppers as the area send to them. The cashier was polite and the clerks were able to point us to the correct location every time we asked where a product was located.

Good selection. Friendly employees. Competitive prices. Clean store in & out. Ample parking. My only issue with Menard's is when asking for help in finding an item, the clerk doesn't always know, which is understandable; new store, big store. BUT, they should OWN the problem. Do not turn you loose until they have successfully filled your need by either TAKING you TO the item OR finding a person who will then OWN the issue themselves. This problem is not unique to Menard's.

We are saddened to have to give such a review. Customer service was absolutely horrible. My husband left a bag at this store and when he went back the next day, the lady told him they return left items to the shelves?! They didn’t even hold it for 24 hours. The lady my husband dealt with the first time was very kind and willing to help, but we still found there were items on our receipt we didn’t have when we went back to the job site. So when my husband went back a second time to try and retrieve these items, a different female manager was there and was very rude and smirking to her associate insinuating my husband was trying to be deceptive in just getting the items he paid for. We spent over $7,000 there within 3 days because of a remodel and explained to them we in no way would try to swindle them out of $50 dollars, which was about the cost for the items that were left behind. My husband then called the general manager who was seemingly cold and distant and didn’t even offer an apology until my husband asked him directly questioning if he even cared how he was treated. He gave no offer of assistance or help. He basically told my husband he was out of luck. We have spent a lot of money in this store but we will NOT be returning here with our business. My husband works in the roofing/ construction industry and his business prides themselves in customer service and satisfaction. Menards of New Philadelphia, Ohio is sorely lacking in this area. We just want the items that we PAID for and left. My husband wasn’t careless in leaving the items. He had thousands of dollars worth of items he was trying to juggle as the store was closing. They looked at the cameras for a mere 5 minutes but because they couldn’t make it out they gave us no relief. Menards, I suggest you work on your customer service. Because you never know what kind of contractors and sub contractors you are dealing with. We will make sure to share our experience with other contractors so they know what kind of customer service they will be facing should they ever forget an item or have to deal with your management.

The store is very large with very good selections. The staff is always friendly an helpful. It was too hot, I was sweating. I have a suggestion. It would be nice if in a corner you could have some seating an some drinks. Us old folks could use a rest to be able to shop some more. Or benches.

It was bad . My order had missing hardware . I paid 127.00 dollars as a deposit on skids to protect my order . It was still damaged. Couldn't get a manager to take the time to make it wright. Couldn't get my deposit back, they said it was already payed and might show up in my account in 5 to 7 days. I've been shopping here since you opened . After today I am going to shop at Lowe's.
