It is basically a local version of REI. The staff are beyond helpful and very knowledgeable. I was looking for a day hiking backpack and they helped me pick the right one. I will gladly shop there again.

This store is incredible. Each time I have visited, I am greeted by enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable people who have actually used the gear that’s on the shelf. Additionally, they stock a thorough but not overwhelming variety. Seriously, a model for how small businesses should operate. Very pleased to buy from them over internet retailers or even places like REI - there’s just something special about working with the local store. Keep up the great work and business culture!

Incredible place! Was able to find a tent footprint that I had been looking for across multiple states and Bryan was quick to help me out! Ended up buying the tent itself from them as well - their pricing isn't higher than REI or direct from manufacturer, which is awesome.Thank you all, especially Bryan!

Wide selection of items. Stopped in to see about a paddle leash and they had two different kinds while most shops have none. Also gave helpful information about the little Miami for a future trip. Friendly staff... helpful... and an ice cream shop across the street. What could be better.

We stopped in 25 minutes before close after a long evening of trying on hiking boots all over town. The owners were so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I like this store so much that I just went online and placed an order to pick up in store tomorrow. I can't wait to go back!

They stocked and displayed my hiking book several years ago. Special ordered the 1-person Hornet tent I needed. I also appreciate the thru-hiker discount. AMAZING store! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I'm usualy an in-and-out shopper but I easily spent 2 hours without even realizing it talking to the staff and looking at product! They have a cozy corner in the back of the store with a table, several places to sit and tons of maps/literature for planning out your next adventure. I will definitely be using it next time! Keep up the GREAT work in the 45150 RR&T!

Great store. I am an experienced hiker and adult scout leader. I went in for a new pair of boots and was treated very well. They went through a detailed fitting that included the right boot, right insert, right sock, etc. They put together exactly the right solution for my feet. While I was there, the salesman helped a really nice older lady with another complex foot issue and let her take home a pair to try.My son and I browsed while we were there. The quality of the gear here is top-drawer. There is no junk on the shelves. They have a 10% discount for scouts and scouters and a 5% back program for scout troop accounts. Very nice people. I'll be back.

Great experience start-to-finish with this store. Wilderness Systems Pungo kayaks are very hot items & had no luck in my Central Ohio home area. I got immediate assistance over the phone with this store in ordering the Pungo 125 I wanted as my first ever kayak & they provided their best expectation timeline of delivery even though manufacturer delays are common now. They called me just to keep me in the loop that they received another batch of yaks but mine wasn't on this delivery but should be in a couple weeks. That's great customer service to make a call like that to a consumer and I really appreciated that. Sure enough, two weeks later was when it arrived. Olivia fit me with the perfect paddle for my needs & provided great insight on every accessory I considered purchasing. She explained what she found to be the great features of this kayak & completed my Ohio registration on my behalf. Although I purchased a Yakima Jaylow rack elsewhere prior to my kayak purchase, I hadn't used it yet & she told me perks of that rack & gave me her favorite tips on strapping down the kayak. I'm glad I spent my money supporting this great store & they are quite fortunate to have a wonderful staff.

These guys rock! They are so friendly and go above and beyond to help someone out!! I was just in for the first time after finding out I'll be moving to the area, and wanted to know the best climbing gyms around, and how to find a backpack for myself (being 5' nothing this proved a greater challenge then I originally anticipated) I had no luck until after leaving the store. They vowed to do some research and called me back when they discovered they actually carried something small enough for me! To know there is a good down to earth outdoor store in the place I will be moving in the near future is a godsend. Thanks for making a difference! I'll be back for sure!

This place is awesome, they are the only store I have found that reminds me of the places I used to visit in Colorado. They have a lot of things that the larger national stores do not. The staff was very friendly and the clothing was from a wide variety of known and reputable manufacturers. They are one of the very few shops that sells Fjallraven around here! Keep up the awesome store, I know I'll be back again.

Wonderful staff, so knowledgeable and friendly! RRT carries a great selection of high quality gear on hand. I love that they also carry trail guides and maps for our regional outdoor areas, too, not just the big national parks. I can usually rely on RRT to have the gear I want available in store when the other local national outdoor store chain is out and only has it online. Prices are on par with national chains and to be expected with brands and types of items they sell. Definitely worth the drive out to Milford. Will continue to shop here and recommend to others.

Great outdoor equipment store, with super knowledgeable owners and staff. A real gem on Main Street. They are experienced and enthusiastic adventurers. Go when they aren't busy and you'll get very personal service. They can even help you plan a trip. They sell the quality name brands of gear and clothing - this stuff is not cheap but it will save you in the long run because it will last so much longer than the discount store stuff, and it won't fail you in the woods, on the trail or down the river.
